First of all I’d like to say how much Javi, Veronica the heroine’s best friend forever, is integral to this story and he is just such a wonderful person yo have around. Everyone has secrets, but some people have more than others and they keep them even from their closest friends to keep the pain hidden within themselves.  This book is about two lonely people Veronica and Jude.  He was her professor for one of her classes whilst at college and she made an important impression upon him as did he to her. She never took any more of his classes as she couldn’t concentrate in lectures because she could only think of everything about him. But he wants to know her more and is just biding his time. He’s at least twice her age but absolutely gorgeous and a bit of  a mystery man around campus and very wealthy in that he doesn’t need to work but he does. He arouses suspicion amongst some of his colleagues when he gets Veronica to be his TA [Teaching Assistant] which he has never had before, but is using this as a ruse to get to know her better.  This is an emotional whirlpool with great passion, love and heartbreak.  I don’t think Jude or the readers will forget the scene where Veronica calls to see Jude before celebrating Halloween with Javi and his friends as that was one HOT and steamy encounters that proves to Jude that veronica is more than a one night stand and this scares him in come ways. Veronica [Ronnie to everyone else but Jude] has one tragic secret that only after they become intimate and then break up because of his emotional scars when she tries to help him, that she reveals to Jude about how she got a scar on her leg which he noticed when he very first saw her. This is after he reveals a truth about his past 19 years ago and the tragic circumstances that lead to his wife’s demise. The passion and love, that he refuses to acknowledge because he is scared, are so intense in this quite beautiful story by R.R. Banks.  In my humble opinion, this is his best story yet as it is about love and the many types of love you can have and how people can overcome and survive personal tragedies. I love this story and will most assuredly be re-reading this again as it is so well written. I received a free reader’s copy of this and voluntarily leave my honest opinion here.  I’m going to get my own copy of this as I want the exclusive book baby 4 the brothers which is included!

Banks is a world famous author renowned for his fantastic storylines, amazing characters, wonderful flowing writing style, and keeping his readers all waiting impatiently for his next book as they are all so good.  Rob is a man to be taken notice of – he does not take things lightly and when he sees something he wants he will do all he can to maker harper want and love him, he will protect her with everything he is and hope that she will feel the same way he does for her.  harper is naive but is believable and sweet and seems to have been created just for him in his venture of turning the whole family life to be without crime so that they’re not always looking over their shoulders and starting afresh.  This book grabbed my attention on page one and I read it in one go and lost sleep so that I could find out the ending.  As with all R.R.Banks stories there is no cheating and always a HEA. That really isn’t a spoiler – just an enticement to encourage you to get a copy for yourself and enjoy.  To make this even more enticing, there are four others books by R.R. in addition to His Property. They are : Baby 4 The Brothers, Becoming Daddy,  Hot Daddy, Saving Her as well as snippets from his novels Redemption and  Damaged to give you a feel for them before buying.  I LOVED this story and it is one so good that I will be re-reading it again in the future.  This is also a book that I will be buying at the end of the month with my monthly book money! 🙂

  A Second Chance of A Loving Life

Garrett and Gwendolyn, Gwen, are two lonely people who have both suffered – Garrett is now a single Dad to Jason and Gwen has suffered from a mentally abusive marriage where her confidence found an all time low.  They are both trying for a new start in a small town called Silver Lake – the type of place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. Gwen is starting as a teacher in the high school and Garrett is returning to his home town, where he has bad memories, and is going to be the new fire chief and Jason, who is going through that rebellious teenager stage is going to be attending the high school! Garrett and Gwen do meet one night, out of town, both using a different name and they have a wildly passionate and erotic night of none stop mind blowing sex – one that they’re never likely to forget [WARNING:- you will need your fans set to maximum cold here!!!] They meet again when Gwen has trouble with a new boy in her class and discovers his dad is her hunky, sexy beyond reason saviour from her night at the bar – I could almost imagine the look on both their faces when they meet for that second time as RR was so descriptive! RR Banks is an exceptional author who has a magical way of weaving an intricate plot through the pages a of a story with tension building up with each sentence.  There is so much about Garrett that we learn as the story unfolds such as how he doesn’t want Jason to make the same mistakes, what happened to Garrett to make him leave Silver Lake. Gwen likewise has past issues that she has still not resolved.  The passion scale when they meet just fired straight into the upper atmosphere they are so HOT together but will they be able to be more than that to have a successful relationship.  This story is a great example of R.R. Banks at his very best This is a fast paced love story but also so very much more that has been exquisitely penned for us by R.R. Desire : A Contemporary Romance Box Set by R.R. Banks

 A Hot, Steamy Bundle Of Romances!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. We have a real treat here of five books by R.R. Banks.

Major ‘O’ – First of all, I need to confess that R.R.Banks is one of my favourite authors. Her stories are always just that little bit “different” but with always gorgeous heroes and heroines that positively human “combust” with the chemistry when they meet. her characters in this story, Abby and Caleb, are very likeable and are given their second chance at their own HEA. The dialogue is fast paced and witty and you can see why they are so attracted to one another.

Saving Her – This is a fantastic read that deals with some very sensitive issues but it is beautifully written by RR as anyone who has read his books before will appreciate. What is so special about this book? The way the basic outline of the story unfolds the reader might think it’s going to be relatively straight forward, but, oh no, RR has delighted us with some twists and turns that certainly surprised me and made the tension in the story buzzing. It surrounds a young woman called Calee who has had a simply dreadful life and wants to break free from the cult that her junkie parents sold her to. She does have some help and her hopes rise then she seems to be even worse off than she was before. She is given unexpected help from one of the last persons she would expect but she accepts gratefully and this leads to her meeting Eric. He is an ex-military surgeon who is now in private practice but with his own demons. beneath his hard shell there is a kind and caring man and when he sees Calee, obviously in difficulties, he knows that he must help her in any way he can. This, is where the real excitement begins. I was completely caught up in the story and whilst it did seem as if they had got away form the cult leader’s henchmen, there is worse to come and it is only with the feelings between the two of them that have developed over the weeks together that Eric displays his determination to do everything to save Calee and all the other women from inhumane abuse. The last few chapters were so gripping and descriptive that I could almost see it playing out in my mind as I absorbed every word.

Snow and the 7 Hunks – Switch on the fans. Lock the doors and turn off your phones! This re-telling of a fairy tale is going to heat you up. R.R. Banks always delivers a great book but he has surpassed himself with this re-telling of Snow White. Oodles of steamy, hot scenes with a damsel in distress and hunky heros to save the day. I was absorbed from the first to the last page and then wanting the next book.undoubtedly the best re-telling of a fairy tale this year. Definitely recommended!! I was fortunate to receive an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

Her Hunk – Eleanor has not had the easiest nor the life that she anticipated. Her vile ex, Victor, deserves everything that happens to him but you have to wait a while for it to happen, but it is so well worth the wait. R.R.Banks has outdone himself in Boy Toy. In penning this story about a beautiful strong minded woman who will fight, now, for what she wants and the absolutely delicious, Hunter, that will make your heart palpitate. He slowly seduces her so that she completely forgets that she is so much older in years on Earth than him and instead she concentrate on how he makes her feel. Oh boy, that feeling makes her melt. he is so sweet and slightly nerdy with his black glasses on and slight awkwardness at times. But when he takes off his shirt Eleanor forgets everything but him and what they can do for each other. He seems the perfect man to be stranded on a deserted island to me. Those are the things that I loved about this book and there is absolutely nothing that I didn’t like. This is the first book thast I’ve read where the hero was significantly younger than the heroine, but love makes nothing else matter and R.R. Banks wove this throughout the story and love conquered all. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.
P.S. I also liked the way Gavin made a surprise sighting at the end.

Her Tycoon – This is an entirely new book and it is another fast paced, page turner of a story that you will be hooked on it and won’t want to put it down! In this one we meet Mason, who is really not what I would classify as hero material at all;. In fact, he drives me nuts. However, when he meets Ella and her adorable little boy you can just tell that he is redeemable. Ella is one feisty heroine who won’t put up with Mason and he wants her badly. It’s time that he man ups if he wants the woman that he needs just like he needs his next breath! A great novella that I read in one go and will be reading again as it’s so good!!!

This is an excellent selection of really good stories with hot and steamy romance by R.R. Banks and I encourage you to get a copy for yourself as it is so good.

Damaged by R.R. Banks

  10 Years Worth Waiting For…

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Charlotte is a young woman that has been trapped in an abusive relationship for many years and has, at last, found the courage to leave her abuser. he family think she is being foolish and won’t accept that she was being attacked both verbally and physically by her high school ‘sweetheart’. She agrees to go with her parents and her 2 married siblings and their spouses to a cabin in the mountains for Thanksgiving. But it’s all a trap and her abuser has planned with her parents to ‘surprise’ her by being there with them. She gathers up her things and taking her sister’s car runs away. Unfortunately the weather is treacherous she gets lost and skids, causing a crash. The man that rescues her is the the high school jock who used to share stolen glances with when no one else was looking. Micah recognises her instantly as he’s never forgotten her. But Charlotte has amnesia and doesn’t even know her name nor whom she was running from! Micah has changes in many ways over the ten years since he last saw her and he has suffered but survived. As the pair are snowed in their feelings for one another that were not acted upon now have the chance to emerge and flourish! R. R. Banks has delivered an exceptional story for us this Christmas. This is about how a young woman who has been too afraid to leave her abuser finds the strength to realise that she is worth so much more and leaves. That is a strength of bravery that should be applauded yet her family support the abuser. Her mother was very difficult to like at all till the very end. Charlotte is such a rave person who has suffered and overcome so very much that, in many ways, she can empathise with the suffering that Micah has been through on his own since his mum died. The feelings that they had for each other so long ago blossom even more as they get to know one another better and this time, they are both ready to explore the passion between them. Micah is so easy to love. He has been through so much and overcome adversities but is lonely. When he recognises Charlotte and realises that she can’t remember him he knows that he wants to get to know her better and discover her secrets and see whether they have a chance of love. So very beautifully written with a fantastic storyline that is sometimes difficult to comprehend how parents can not be supportive but is all about strength, bravery and love and, when necessary, being prepared to die for the one you love.
This is a must read that I am so grateful that I got the chance to read. Charlotte’s character is an example that any woman in such a dark place needs to realise that they CAN be that strong and do DESERVE a good life free from harm and be safe.

OUTSTANDING and will be a book to re-read as it is so good.

Accidental Daddy: A Billionaire’s Baby Romance by R.R. Banks

Roman is a tough, hard-working alpha male who is also a playboy but with the good lucks and charm that just oozes off the pages so that Beatrice [or Bea or Bitsy her other known names] will always remember giving up her virginity to him in a one night stand. Bitsy is a young woman with determination, knows what she wants and does her very best to get it. They meet when she is out of town and at a party. Roman knows that she is not like the other women he’s been with. She’s special. She’s possibly The One for him. The next morning, she’s also gone and he doesn’t know how to find her! Bitsy heads to her home in a small town in the south as she now has a secret from Roman. It was so much fun watching Roman change from a self absorbed womaniser to a man on a mission to find Bitsy as he’s fallen hard for her and wants to make her his. As we see him change you can understand fully why Bitsy falls in love with him. And when he meets their baby girl for the first time…awwwww! All you Mums will know what I mean when your husband sees his children for the very first time..we just fall in love with them even more 🙂 I just thought this story was fantastic as it had it all: passion, hot steamy sensuous scenes, caring, humour,protectiveness, determination to make them work as a couple & family, and LOVE. In Accidental Daddy, RR Banks has surpassed himself and produced such a beautiful story that I will re-read again and enjoy it just as much as the first time. Grab this as it is a real page turner and winner! If you are new to RR’s stories then this one will turn you into one of his fans like so many of us are already. The Christmas Surprise: A Billionaire Single Daddy Romance by R.R. Banks

 

And what a surprise you’re going to find between the covers of this wonderfully entertaining story. Holly [and NO, she wasn’t born at Christmas but you’ll have to read the story to find out why she is named that -just don’t ask her why!] hates Christmas, She has no contact with her warring parents who were too wrapped up in their war with each other to bother with their only child. Her boyfriend of five years dumps her saying he needs space and the next time she sees him he is out with a leggy blonde woman. So she gets mad and finds the ticket he had bought for them to go on a cruise together at Christmas and decides to go on her own. Meanwhile, Graham is a multi billionaire who loves his son, Charlie, beyond words and will do anything for him at all. But his vicious ex wife has moved away with Charlie so that he hardly ever sees Charlie which breaks his heart. He is determined to spend Christmas with his son even if it means getting back with the ex. But plans can go awry and they certainly do for these two. They end up, because of bad weather and all transport being seasonally busy, travelling on the same train that encounters a problem and this is when they meet. They are taken by a very likeable character to Whisky Hollow and for those of you who read and loved Accidental Daddy by R.R. Banks then you will know it’s quite a unique town with the most wonderful quirky people. This is where their HEA is going to blossom. I had laugh out loud moments reading this delightful story. R.R. Banks really knows how to capture the attention of his readers and keep them fixated to the book until you’ve finished it [don’t forget that there are two bonus books in there for a limited time that you will want to read too!]. beautifully written with interesting and 3-dimensional characters. Graham is such a wonderful caring man [just wait till they meet Coy in the post office] who cares and loves passionately and makes time for everyone. A real page turner that, if you haven’t read any of his books before you will be converted and want to read all of the rest of his stories.This is a book that I will be re-reading and so will be buying so I have a copy for myself. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
