This is the second book in the High House Ursa Series by Riley Storm. I did read, and enjoy, book 1 but this can easily be read as a standalone. In this book we meet Kincaid and Haley. He has been accused of theft and his accuser is the human accountant for the House of Ursa, Haley. They both don’t want to work together to prove his innocence – at least not at first. But as time goes by their attraction for each other sizzles across the pages of my Kindle. This is another page turner that is well written and Riley certainly knows how to draw readers into her storylines. I loved the witty, sarcastic banter between the two of them and the humour that is peppered throughout the book. With terrific characters who are fantastic role models [feisty female heroine and a strong alpha and protective male], this is sure to be another winning story like book 1. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED
