One Night Stand by Sarah J. Brooks

  Definitely recommended! Pure Passion 

Single and hunky dad, Logan, adores his 9 year old daughter, Erin and basically lives for her.  Since his crazed ex-wife, Samantha gave birth and dumped them both he’s been  the best dad he could possibly be.  But he’s lonely. He hasn’t dated in all those years although Ant , sibling, looks after Erin when necessary. Now Ant’s BFF is Nina and she’s moving into the same apartment building as Logan but Ant hasn’t told either of them.  Ant doesn’t think they will suit each other as Logan’s wary of women and Nina has always said that she didn’t like children and has just got out of a bad breakup.  But as she’s moving in, Nina notices gorgeous Logan and he notices her and likes what he sees so he approaches and offers to help her move in.  He is on the floor above and the chemistry between them is combustible!  With all this sizzling between them they ‘go with the flow’ and have a magical passionate encounter that ‘blows their minds’!  But he has to leave to pick up Erin. Nina, meanwhile, thinks he’s just leaving as he must be a player and using her for s@x. But as Nina comes to know Erin she realises that she actually does like children [well certainly this child] and that Logan isn’t the player Ant said he used to be. Ant, on the other hand, is not best pleased that they’ve met and then there is more drama when the vile ex-wife makes her presence felt!  What’s going to happen to Erin? Will Logan and Nina have a HEA?  Will Ant speak to Logan and Nina again? What’s going to happen to Samantha?  Written with great characters by Sarah J. Brooks who never fails to bring them to life before your very eyes as you read her stories.  Believable and empathetic so that I felt compelled to carry on reading till I’d finished the story in one go. This is a must have read and, I personally think, Sarah’s best book yet.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

One Night Bride by Sarah J. Brooks

   Unexpected Marriage

Arcadia is in Las Vegas on a dad- daughter holiday but, of course, he’s not turned up to meet her for dinner nor bought the tickets to see the show that he’s promised her. So this feisty 29 year old young woman goes to play in the casino and it there that she attracts the attention of billionaire playboy Xavier Dean who is on a stag do weekend for his friend and got bored. When he sets eyes on Arcadia, he and all the other males in the room are focused entirely on her.  He’s just looking for a one night stand but she’s no push over and he has to use all his charm to even get her to have a drink with him.  Whilst there is sizzling attraction between the two of them that is almost combustible she refuses to just go to bed with him.  In fact, she gets him to do somethings that he has never done before! One of them being getting a tattoo of her name in a pretty font on his bicep whilst she gets one on her ankle [because he refuses to let the touchy tattoo artist touch her thigh] with an adorable dolphin which is close to her heart and her masters degree.  One thing leads to another and with too much drink in both of them, they end up getting married to each other but they both think it’s just for the one night!  But things always don’t go as planned and soon they find themselves in hiding and still happily married to each other.  I’m not giving any spoilers as this is way too good a story told by Sarah J. Brooks in her inimitable way which shows why she is one of the USA’s top best selling authors.  Beautifully written and prepare to fall in love with Xavier [don’t call him X] and Arcadia and let the bad guys get their just ‘reward’.  A wonderful story that I will be re-reading in the future as it is just so good and a fantastic unique storyline. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.  Get your own copy now – definitely recommended!!

The Baby Package by Sarah J. Brooks

  A Story Of Love & Hope

Sarah J. brooks is one of the USA’s best selling authors for a very good reason – she is an author who knows what her readers want and she conjures up the most wonderful storylines with fascinating characters that just make your heart melt.   This is one must have read by her that I think you’ll love as much as I do.  Mike  feels comfortable with Julia and it’s almost as if he knows her but he doesn’t make the connection.  The thing he has forgotten is that she is his old friend, Rob’s, younger sister and she had a major crush on him long ago.  Now she is home again and wanting to have a child but not a relationship. When she meets him by chance at the fertility clinic where he is a doctor,  the chemistry that she always felt for him , is now also felt by Mike and it quickly blossoms and rapidly grows.  Mike has not been very successful in relationships in the past and since Julia is a very stubborn and feisty young woman, will they ever get together????  Will she give him a chance?  Will Julia risk her heart? I loved the witty banter between these two believable characters and thought that the epilogue was superb as it nicely rounded off the story. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Mine to Protect by Sarah J. Brooks

   Traumatised & Needing Love

Gwen was very popular at school and when she graduated Paul, who has been fixated on her for a while, rapes her and when he finds out that she is pregnant he leaves to join the army. She moves to Chicago and finds a job as a model.  But then she is called up for Jury Duty [something I have always wanted to do] and it is there that she catches the eye of the billionaire, Colt whose construction company is being prosecuted. He can’t get her out of his mind and he finds her but she rebuffs all his offers of a date.  Bearing in mind that she has been raped and then dumped by the father of her baby, she obviously has some trust issues with men – the very fact that she seems to be functioning normally after such trauma says a great deal about her.  She thinks more on it as Colt is persistent and agrees to give him a chance and they really do do enjoy each other’s company as the chemistry between them is explosive and they fit so well together.  But then things start happening and Gwen is scared so she backs off from Colt which has him both frustrated and bewildered.  What is going on in Gwen’s world that is making her withdraw from Colt?  What has got her scared? Is this the end for Gwen and Colt?  I did think that the storyline was very good and Sarah J. Brooks has this great imagination for conjuring up interesting and believable characters and plots.  I felt so very sorry for Gwen as she was a young 18 year old who had been raped and then dumped when her rapist dumped her after finding out that she was pregnant [pity she hadn’t just gone to the police and reported him but, as I say, she was scared and a frightened young woman].  She was very quick to jump to conclusions about Colt which is a sign of her insecurities and her past so I really felt so sorry for her and for Colt as he was getting the backlash because of the rapist. In hindsight, she might well have got the police involved, but she was scared and alone – that’s why she left home! Certainly at the ending I wish the police had been called to deal with the rapist.  Some editing needed her and there. A thought provoking story and I look forward to Sarah’s next book! I purchased a copy for myself as I enjoyed reading this book so much.

Damaged Love by Sarah J. Brooks

  Mountain Man’s Saviour

Years ago, Dash was a renowned scientist who was close to finding a cure for cancer when his rival got the Mob to kill Dash. But the plan didn’t work as hoped for him.  Dash survived but his wife was murdered instead. So he is now in hiding up in the mountains waiting for the when the time is right to go back to society and get justice. In the meantime, he must keep his location a secret.  one night in a storm he heres a call for help but when no one else responds he finds the stranded and injured hiker called Jeni.When she wakes he says she can make a call on her phone to let her family know that she is safe but must not mention him which she does. Jeni is a feisty young woman and as they spend time together their feelings for one another grow.  This is a wonderful story by Sarah. J. brooks that will pull at your heart strings and you’ll also need a fan set to MAX COOL as the ere are plenty of sensual scenes that will sizzle and cause steam heat.  The characters are realistic and the ending is powerful and so fitting. I strongly encourage you to get a copy of this book for yourself as it is a must have read. I did receive a reader’s copy and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

Climax: A Contemporary Romance Box Set by Sarah J. Brooks

 A Fabulous Must Have Collection

This is a real MUST HAVE collection of five fantastic stories by Sarah. J. Brooks.  I’m still reading book book 5 which I haven’t read before but it’s been a real pleasure re-reading the first four books.  Sarah writes with such a relaxed flowing writing style that the words just seem to fly through the pages, enticing you to read all of it and in one go.  I didn’t read this all in one go!  I have included in this review my take on books 3 and 4 which are my favourites [although they are ALL great!]

Bedroom Rodeo – A Wild Ride of Love! Enjoy!   10 August 2017

Tyler and Summer are very attracted to one another but Summer is only going to be nanny for his children Faith and Thomas for 30 days! He initially thinks that she is spoilt but she isn’t. She has had a tough learning curve to grow up with. Tyler has issues too and whilst all this is happening they also have to deal with the two children as well as fall in love. Sarah J. Brooks has created another winning best seller here again. her characters are always so interesting [even the secondary ones] and the storyline kept me engrossed till I had finished reading the complete book. This is one that I have enjoyed so much that I know that I will be re-reading it in time. Definitely recommended!!! I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here. Looking forward to Sarah’s next book!! Definitely recommended.

Breaking the Rules: A Billionaire Secret Baby Romance   12 September 2017
In PR work, her father said you must never get involved with clients. Until she met River, Mariah, 22 years old, just one year into her first job at her father’s PR firm meets River, 38 years old, a billionaire who is handsome, charming and has a reputation as a womaniser. The attraction between the two of them is instant and he demands that she is to be the person who will help him with his “situation”. This is unusual as her father would put someone far more experienced than she in charge but River refuses to deal with anyone but her. River has kept a secret for 10 years and knows that as soon as Mariah hears it that she will not want anything to do with him. But she surprises him and steps up her game so that his reputation is safe. But River is hot tempered and lands himself behind bars. Can she save him and his firm? The tension throughout adds to the storyline as Mariah and River, with help from their friends, battle their way through the bad press towards him and, ultimately, the decade long secret is revealed to the world. Their HEA is not easy as they are both strong willed characters for a start who feel passionately about their beliefs. He, at times, thinks she is too young to understand and she is infuriated that he won’t defend himself. But love overcomes all and they will find a way to be together despite him being a commitment phobe in the past. She is worth fighting for and a future with her is what he desperately wants. I really did enjoy reading this story and I think you will too if you like well developed characters who consistently prove their caring, passion and love for one another. There are some great steamy scenes that you will probably need a fan near by to switch on and a nice cool drink. Definitely recommended.

This is a tremendous selection of stories by Sarah that I thoroughly recommend you get a copy for yourself and enjoy as much as I have! I received an advanced reader copy  of this collection and I leave my honest review of it here for your consideration.

  The Gang Of Four + Isabella!

Oh we meet Isabella who lost her fiancé when she was younger and now craves constant loving and sexual companionship. AT college she had her roomies but now she has graduated and moved back home to live in her grandparents house that she now owns. Stanley is the only one of her friends that comes with her but he moves in down the street rather than sharing the same house as her. She spies her hunky next door neighbour, Marcus, on the very first night there and one thing leads to another and they have a very hot sexual encounter that she wants more of but the next morning he is gone without a word and is missing. Her best friend introduces her to Rob who is a real looker and at the end of the date they end up in bed having very hot and steamy erotic session together. After weeks away Marcus returns and has brought his colleague, Zed, and asks Isabella if he can join their play group? She agrees with passion and they have a threesome that blows her mind. All four men satisfy a need in her that no man can satisfy on his own so she is ecstatic and having the time of her life being so well pleasured. However, Marcus has a secret that she cannot get out of him but then there is a murder! Is he one of the good guys? What is his work and why is she now in danger?? All will be revealed when you purchase and read this book. Sarah J. brooks has a lovely flowing writing style that makes it a pleasure to read any of her stories. She writes with passion and her choice of words is so creative to make the characters become almost ‘alive’ to the reader and thus making it so much more enjoyable. The storyline is great and it was terrific when we found out what was Marcus’s job with Zed! I really enjoyed this fast paced story \zand hope that you will too. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Naughty and Nice by Sarah J. Brooks

 

Sarah J. Brooks has delivered a raunchy story with comedy, suspense, danger, crime as well as passion and, ultimately, love.  Lillie Flemming has just finished getting her business degree and she is back home to take over the family bakery Flemmings on the corner site that they’ve had for years and have a loyal customer group.    Her dad is a good man and a great baker but not such a good businessman and he has let the insurance lapse and hasn’t been paying all their taxes.  We meet Christopher, Chris, Tollier who is the owner of a huge chain of tea rooms called, Carolina’s Emporium and Tea Room.  he’s looking for the next and 50th shop that he will open and whilst travelling in his limo sees Flemmings and passes comment in conversation to his business partner, Steve, that it would make a great site for their 50th store and to see if he can buy it from them.  Now Steve is a real sleaze with slightly dubious ‘friends’ that are part of the Mob which Chris only just suspects.  That night a fire is started in the dumpster behind the Flemmings bakery and , if it hadn’t been for the watchfulness of two cops everyone in the building would have died. As it was they are all safe but the business is destroyed.  her parents sell up their home and move to Florida and Lillie is left to pack up and  send everything they want. In the meantime, she joins a temp agency to get work and is called up that very afternoon by Chris who needs someone to come and help him out.  She did not expect that she was going to be Santa’s Elf to his Santa. Thus begins their relationship which is a worldwind of epic proportions and very romantic.  She doesn’t know how he may be involved with his family’s business going up in flames because of dirtbag Steve [even Chris isn’t certain but he’s now wanting to sever ties with Steve but Steve has set him up to take the fall!] I loved little Magda, Chris’s niece and the special time that he, Magda and Lillie had in Europe was wonderful with Chris and Lillie falling in love with one another all the more.  But Chris becomes away of what Steve has been up to in stealing from the firm and he sets out to right wrongs where he can and have Lillie in his life forever.  This is a terrific story with mystery, danger, love and romance all wrapped up in one fantastic story.  I look forward to Sarah’s next adventure.

Such a  great story that I bought my copy!
