Oh this is a fun story! Victoria is sitting there waiting for an interview for her dream job when she insults a man that she doesn’t realise is one of the firm’s partners! But Xavier fights for her to get the job although they do nothing but argue! Whilst Louis, the other partner, is nothing but nice. okay they are both as s@xy as can be and handsome and charming and did I say gorgeous?? I think this gives you a great idea of how this storyline continues and you won’t want to put it down till you reach the very end then, like me, you’ll probably want epilogues to see what happens next… A great story from Sienna Chance that you won’t want to miss. very well written with such great characters that seem to be so realistic and 3-dimensional. Looking forward to her next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Is The Resort Really Cursed?

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Lilian [never answers to Lily so don’t even try!] works at Rose & Rose Solicitors and she and her co-workers are all at a resort in Colorado to network. She wouldn’t mind except Micheal, her boss, is a lecherous creep who won’t take NO for an answer and won’t keep his hands to himself no matter how hard she tells him ‘NO!’. She meets Logan, the supposed ‘handyman’ of the resort when he comes to her aid when Michael tries backing her into a deserted corner to physically assault her. Logan and Lilian pretend to be close friends that have never broken up to try and persuade Michael to leave her alone but, unfortunately, he is persistent. Things start happening around the resort like murder, fires breaking out, someone trying to kill Logan and so on. Amidst all this there is a growing attraction between Logan and Lilian that is ready to spontaneously combust. The passionate love scenes that Sienna Chance writes will have you reaching to switch on your fans and you may need a cool drink to take out the heat. They are so well written as are her character descriptions and the storyline is something else! This is not just a romance. It is so much more! With people beginning to point their fingers at Lilian as being the one responsible for the murder and occurrences Logan knows that he needs to find out what is really going on. When Lilian finally tells Logan her secret, towards the end of the story, their relationship can deepen and blossom. This is a fast paced suspenseful romance that kept me turning page after page as I had to know what was really going on and who was behind it all. To find out you’re going to need to get yourself a copy of this book and enjoy having the mystery solved. I really enjoyed this story and hope that you will too.

Ellie is a stay at home self publishing romance writer whose sales have flat lined at the moment and she needs inspiration. She gets that when she hears a crash outside her apartment and opens the door to see a stunning male who has dropped things whilst trying to move in. He is Lucas and is a married but separated actor/model who has chucked his heartless wife out and taken their cute daughter Luna to live somewhere they can afford as he was a stay at home dad whilst maria, his vicious wife, earned the money. He asks Ellie to babysit Luna one day whilst he goes to an audition and this ends up with them having supper and romantic evenings together and , ultimately, a passionate affair. Ellie goes to collect Luna form school one day but she has gone. She phones Lucas and he goes after his wife. Weeks go by and Ellie hasn’t heard from him and she’s distraught when she finds out that he’s back with his wife. Ellie has a secret and runs. Will she see Lucas again?? Will there be a HEA? I did want to shout at Lucas, Ellie and Maria as it was all so manipulative and if they had only communicated better. having said that, I did enjoy the story. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.
