Forbidden Distraction: A Bachelor of Shell Cove / Fiery Fairytales Crossover Novella Siera London

  Not For Me

This is about a boss and one of his employees. They both are in lust with each other.  What didn’t really make sense to me was that she was a sex therapist but was sexually repressed?? Surely that’s like a baker being allergic to flour??  There were a few other instances like that which just made the writing not flowing to me.  The writer putting things like that in to me seems as if she thinks the readers are not particularly glowing with IQ points.  maybe I just wasn’t in the right mood to read this but it just didn’t gel with me and so I struggled to finish it. Some sexy scenes. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Catching Rebecca (Bachelor of Shell Cove #3) by Siera London

Didn’t Live Up To The Blurb!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.  I read the blurb and thought that I was in for a treat here but, sadly, it isn’t that great.  our two protagonists are Rebecca Lyn and Darwin.  He is ex Navy and has loved her over half of his life. They are lovers but she doesn’t let him know that she is getting married to a man she barely knows that her parents are basically blackmailing her to marry to save the family business.  I don’t see how she could love Darwin so much and not tell him that she was getting married.   I honestly don’t think he’d ever trust her again either.  He is trying to start up his own business and she’s still going to marry Richard.  There are a few twists and some rather long drawn descriptions but I’m afraid the book had already lost me by then but I struggled and read to the end. I don’t think I’ll be reading any more of this series by Siera London.

Disappointed – sorry
