Take A Chance On Me: A Single Father Romance by Weston Parker

This is the story of a woman blossoming with love after an abusive relationship

Tiffany’s life turned sour when her Dad died. At the same time her friend Brad, next door, also lost his dad and the two became close. He got extremely fit and she comfort ate. One drunken night he asks her to marry him despite the fact that he was emotionally abusive to her – always putting her down and so controlling, but she agrees. Her self esteem plummeted further as his abuse developed even further and one night- after a tortuous meal where he abused and ridiculed her at every chance he left her by saying that she was disgusting and that he’d been cheating on her for some time. Tiffany is the classic victim and still thinks that she loves him and can’t believe that he won’t be back for her. Always waiting for him and not believing that she is good enough. Her friend Mandy helps her with her getting out of the house and getting herself back on track to get a job – she slims down and begins to look after herself again. However, she is amazed and actually thinks she is being tricked when Cayden at work [tall, handsome no he is gorgeous] asks her out. Why would he want to go out with her? He’s gorgeous and she’s fat and ugly [not my words!!!!!]. But Cayden is very interested in the beautiful young woman and with tentative reservations she starts seeing him and the passion between them is off the scales. But she’s still not over that creep Brad [I hated Brad!!!]
and Cayden has had his own sorrow in his life. Cayden is such a great influence on her but she makes a mistake. Will he forgive her? What on earth really makes a mother so abusive to her child?? Such great characters – I loved seeing how Tiffany started to ‘blossom’ and her friendship base was so strong. The concept of empowerment for women at work is fabulous but I know it definitely didn’t happen where I worked [mores the pity] but so many would benefit form such support. Such naughty passion out in the open! Secluded beaches and I felt so sorry for Cayden’s friend Allen. A classic example in the book why ebay is so popular with parents lol. A great story that I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend that you get your own copy and enjoy Weston Parker’s latest romantic adventure. I received a reader’s copy and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.  DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED

A thoroughly enjoyable book that I will re-read as it is so good . I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Definitely recommended

Set The Night On Fire”: A Bad Boy Firefighter Novel by Weston Parker

  Our Emerging Hero

Every Good Girl Deserves a Bad Boy. ~ Weston

Oh boy!  Derek is a jackass – not what you’d expect from the hero in a novel by Weston Parker.  Derek is arrogant, insensitive and really needs to think before engaging in mouth!  He is a firefighter who should be careful and treat with caution, but he doesn’t in his work and he ends up in trouble with his boss, the Chief.  So he is relegated to The Box – or rather the ambulance with Allen.  He is so mad and doesn’t totally understand what was wrong.  His empathy for patients really needs to be worked on as can be seen when he first meets nurse Katie.  Now Katie has trust issues with men because of her father and ex so she is so not impressed by Derek and rejects his advances which completely puzzlers him.  But he sees Katie as a challenge and one that he is going to win.  I confess, as you can probably tell, that I didn’t really like Derek at the beginning of this book but this is beautifully written by the best selling author, Weston Parker, so the hero HAS TO change. And indeed he does – thank Heaven!  Enjoy seeing his transformation from idiot and unsympathetic jerk to a real hero in the best of worlds.  Katie is a part of his metamorphosis and one that is a joy to read.  Great depth of descriptions that make the characters ‘come alive’ and the story so realistic and believable.  From wanting to wring Derek’s neck to loving him towards the end of the book seemed impossible at first but Weston is a very creative writer and transports you to His Worlds that we all want to visit on a regular basis.  I’m really looking forward to re-reading this in the future as it was so good and also for Weston’s next romantic adventure for us. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

My Last Chance: (A Single Mom Secret Baby Second Chance Love Story) by Weston Parker

Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~ Weston

Oh boy!!  Did I want to give a few slaps and shakes to Sean, our ‘hero’ in this book.  He lived next door to Lana for years as they were growing up and she had a crush on him.  They have a ‘moment’ in a hot tub after his disastrous prom night but he tells her to keep it a secret and tell no one. So she does. She’s really hurt by his behaviour and he ignores her for the next few weeks before he goes off to college.  Move forward six years and they have both altered.  She’s now refines, polished and a confident, feisty young woman with a six year old son called Peter [no dad in the picture – hint hint!]  She’s a web designer and she has an app for Parents that she wants to fully create and launch so she goes to a very successful company, Burbank Marketing, which is owned and run by Sean [but she doesn’t know that till she attends an interview with him]. Both plead later that they recognised each other but pretend they don’t.  Sean is the first hero of Weston Parker’s that I don’t like. He’s a really arrogant so and so [if you know what I mean] and shows no remorse for leaving Lana to be pregnant on her own, give birth and have no support as she brought up his son. She is an absolute star and he was a pathetic jerk too busy being a womanising playboy.  I felt that he needed to grovel and beg for hers and Peter’s forgiveness but it never really got to the stage that he and Peter were formally introduced as father and son. I really think it would have been improved if there had been an epilogue a while later showing that Sean had matured, was not an arrogant playboy any more and that he was a loving dad to Peter and a faithful lover to Lana.  Having said that, Weston writes beautifully and I will be first in line for his next book as I love his stories.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Light Up The Night: A Bad Boy Firefighter Novel by Weston Parker

Every Good Girl Deserves a Bad Boy” ~ Weston

Hayden and Mel were made for each other. He’s a firefighter and is lonely. She is a single mum with a daughter, Kaylee, and runs her restaurant where the firefighters love to eat. It is there that she meets Hayden.  They have both been hurt before and she just doesn’t want to get involved with a man in a dangerous occupation.  But can they deny the heat and passion between them?  Can they both grasp life and take a chance on finding happiness and love with one another?  I love the way that Weston Parker builds up his characters and storylines so that I feel as if I’m actually ‘seeing’ it unfold between the pages on my kindle. He creates these wonderful 3-dimensional people who are so realistic and so likeable. When things heat up between these two you’re going to need to switch on your fan/ac as there is STEAM HEAT! I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

His stories just get better with each new one published. Superb! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED

Caleb: A Gritty Bad Boy MC Romance (The Lost Breed MC Book 6) by Ali Parker, Weston Parker

Another Great Book In The Lost Breed Series!

This is the sixth book in The Lost Breed MC Series by Ali Parker and Weston Parker.  I have read and enjoyed each and every one of these stories and look forward to as many of them as they compose for us.  One of the things that I especially love about this series is the way characters that that I’ve met and loved in the various books keep ‘popping up’ in subsequent stories and it is so nice to ‘see’ how they are carrying on in their HEAs.  In this book about Caleb, we learn so much about him – who he really is and not just the outward appearance but what makes him who he is.  He has a heart of gold and does all he can to help those he cares about. One in particular being a single mum, Lauryn, who dances at the club where he provides security.   But with trouble from rival MC gangs and an abusive ex for Lauryn, Caleb is the man who is there for her and always will be if she will trust him.  I must confess that it took time for me to warm to Lauryn as her past decisions were very troubling to me but it certainly took Caleb to help her clear her vision of her past and future for herself and her son. I loved the interactions between the two of them, the chemistry between them that practically sizzles off the pages whenever they are together.  Hoping that this isn’t the last in the series and that Ali and Western will continue this series for us loyal fans, I will finish by saying that I am looking forward to reading book 7, hopefully, in the series.  It was well worth the purchase price and I really enjoyed this latest episode in the Series.

Billionaire Biker’s Secret Baby: A Bad Boy Romantic Suspense by Weston Parker

  Steam, Sizzling Heat!

This is going to get you so involved in Ax and Sabrina’s story that you won’t be able to put the book down liker me.  Lost sleep but who cares!!  Such another fabulous story by Weston Parker whose writing just gets better with every story he composes for us, his fans.  Sabrina and Ax were high school sweethearts but he went into the military and lost touch.  Then his good for nothing brother got him flung in prison for something he didn’t do so Ax is now out for revenge until he meets up with Sabrina again and makes a startling discovery.  She had never let him know that he was going to be a dad!!!  Everything changes when this second chance with Sabrina and a family falls into his lap – one that he isn’t going to let go of anyway at all.  I loved the interaction between Ax and Sabrina and he is such a good dad.  But his brother??? Oh boy – nope not giving you a clue – you’ll just have to read this for yourself as Weston is a true expert at this art whereas I am a mere mortal.  This is one book that you’ve just got to get and read asap.. I wait impatiently for his next story. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.  Definitely recommended!!

Air Force Hero: A Military Secret Baby Novel by Weston Parker

A Second Chance With Her Childhood Crush

Josephine, Jo, has had a major crush on her brother Ryan’s best friend, Zach, since she was a little girl.  Obviously nothing could happen between them as Ryan would kill them both!  Zach joins the Air Force and Jo joins the Coast Guard.  But when his dad dies he returns home briefly for his mum and he meets up with Jo.  This time with emotions high they can’t ignore the sizzling chemistry between them and they have one unbelievably wonderful night of passion and love. But she’s gone before he wakes the next morning.   Nothing Zach can do but wish they could explore this feeling between them so all he can do is remember.  Meanwhile Jo is feeling the same.  Several tears pass before they are both back home and she is not alone!  She has a male with her and Zach NEEDS to know all about him as he looks remarkably like himself in miniature form!  Weston Parker’s writing just gets better with each book [and I’ve loved his books for quite some time now].  His writing style is flowing and succinct. Whilst he knows how to pull at your heart strings with all the angst and drama surrounding these two.  I think Ryan’s opinion doesn’t need to count this time.  Now it’s just Zach, Jo and a certain adorable little boy who count.  It was all so easy to immerse myself into this world of theirs and want them to get their HEA.  Such a wonderful journey that I will be re-reading this in the future as it is too good a story just to be read the once.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.  Most Definitely Recommended!

Made for Me: (A Bad Boy Billionaire & Single Mom Story) by Weston Parker, Ali Parker

  A Fantastic Must Have Read

Every Good Girl Deserves a Bad Boy. ~ Weston

And Weston Parker has created the perfect bad boy for the young widow Jessica.  Cole is a self made billionaire with a very successful business in aeronautics but now he realises that he wants more. he basically lonely and wants someone to share his life with.   When he sees Jessica he recognises that she is The One for him – he just needs to convince her of the fact! he also needs to convince her 6 year old son too.  This is a sweet yet passionate storyline that is realistic and magnetic.  This is one of those stories that I know I will be compelled to re-read again and again in the future. So beautifully written by Weston with such believable, 3-dimensional characters that it’s almost felt as if I knew them. The plot is absorbing, intriguing and kept me form putting my kindle down as I just had to finish this fast paced read in one go.  I have really enjoyed every story that I’ve read by Weston and this just exemplifies why he is one of the USA’s top best selling authors.  A must have read!  Can’t wait for his next story.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Sabian: (A Gritty Bad Boy MC Romance) (The Lost Breed MC Book 4) by Ali Parker, Weston Parker

  A Compelling Read

This is the fourth book in The Lost Breed Mc Series by Ali Parker and it is just as compelling as the first three.  Angela is Axel’s sister [he was the main ‘hero’ in book 2] and they come from the very wealthy Cooper family based in California- that is why Axel is living in New York far away from his parents as he did not want their lifestyle.  Angela wants a life and career of her own too but her parents don’t want that. However, she persuades them to let her get her degree in journalism then she gets a job at the New York Times and they only let her live there because she says that she is engaged to a man living there! She has visited Axel three years previously and met Sabian part of the same Lost breed MC. He is everything that she wants in a man and she is the woman of his dreams – but Axel isn’t going to be happy with them together.  This is a fast paced story with 3-dimensional characters that I almost feel as if I ‘know’ them. This can be read as a standalone story but if you read this first I am fairly certain that you’ll then want to go read the other three books too.  There is drama, angst, murder, sorrow, determination, devotion, and [plenty of red hot passion between Angela and Sabian], and retribution.  once I started reading this book, I just couldn’t put it down and read it in one go – finishing in the early hours of the morning. But it was worth it as this is a tremendous storyline with plenty of action.  I can’t wait for the next story by Ali Parker as this book illustrates beautifully why she is, quite rightly, a top USA best selling author. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.
