Mine Would Be You: A Bad Boy Rancher Love Story (The Dawson Brothers Book 3) by Ali Parker, Weston Parker

  Magical Together

This is the third in The Dawson Brothers Ranch Series by Ali Parker and it is a winning series by this USA best Selling Author.  I really enjoyed books one and two and didn’t think Ali could surpass those two, but she did as this storyline is terrific.  Abi is back to her grandparents ranch to help when she discovers that they are in poor health and could lose the ranch. She persuades her younger brother to come help whilst on summer break from college.  She gets a job at Kinseys and it is there that she meets Mason. Now Mason is the youngest Dawson brother and a bit of a playboy.  His reputation is at it’s lowest at the moment as the local ‘floosie’ has claimed that he’s the father of her child but won’t offer any proof.  There is a mutual and instant attraction between Abi and mason but other people get in the way.  His older brother and dad want him spending all his time at their farm and don’t want him getting involved with Abi and helping her family.  mason and Abi are just perfect for each other and the chemistry between them in this fast paced wonderful story is off the charts.  Ali has written such fantastic characters that are believable and so real – having read the other two stories I was able to understand and ‘know’ many of the characters which made it even more fun for me. having said that, it can easily be read as a standalone, though I strongly suspect you’d then want to go and read the first two straight afterwards as it’s so good.  I loved Mason’s ideas for helping Abi’s family and the dedication he put towards helping them.  This is a fun and sexy story with red hot passion between the two of them so have fans/air con in working order as you’ll need them! Some great twist and I loved when someone got a real drenching! really looking forward to reading Ali and Weston Parker’s next stories.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. However, as I enjoyed the book so much and to support the author, I purchased my own copy of it too.

My One and Only: A Bad Boy Secret Baby Second Chance Romance by Weston Parker

A Fabulous Story Of A Second Chance At Love

This is a beautiful story of second chances by Weston Parker who is one of my favourite authors as I know that I can pick up any of his books, knowing that it will be well written, a great storyline, fabulous characters and enough HEAT to make my heart melt as well as other things too.  In this story we meet Kya and Leonard who grew up next door to each other and were the best of friends till about year 8 at school [12/13 years old] when she developed more quickly and became much more popular and sung in a band.  Leonard/Leo loved her. He always had but he was rather a geek and didn’t even try to fit in with her group of new friends. All that changed on the night before their graduation from high school when he lost his v-card to her [Nice change and twist in the story Mr Parker!!]. he thought that this was going to be the beginning of ‘THEM’ as a couple but sadly this was not to be. Though something had started that would have implications for all their lives.  They part company and then five years later is when we ‘meet’ them again and he is now a successful solicitor and she is in a successful band. I’m not going to tell you the hows and why’s that they get a second chance but I must warn you that it will make you smile, it will make you want to read more of Weston’s stories as this story illustrates perfectly why he is such a renowned author.  It will catch your attention at page one and maintain it right to the very end.  I’m now looking forward to his next book.  I received a reader’s copy and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

My Last First Kiss by Weston Parke

   Will He Leave her Again?

Ten years ago Brayden left his home town of Valdiz, Alaska, and never said a word to Rein.  Rein had loved Brayden and she is heartbroken. The last ten years have drifter by for her in her social life and her professional life as an artist who mostly sells pictures when the tourists come in the summer.  Brayden, however, has been building up his own empire till he is now a billionaire oil tycoon who is a single dad to four year old Bella.  He gets a call telling him that his mum is dying of cancer and is in hospital in Valdiz. he knows he has to go home and also that he can’t avoid rein who holds a major part of his heart. But will she even speak to him? Will she want to get to know him again?  Will he get a a second chance with her?  As the chemistry is still there will they try again? Or has Rein shed too many tears already over Brayden and will he just leave her without a word again?  You will need to have your fans/air con set to max cool as well as having a box of tissues handy.  I certainly cried for Rein – thinking of those ‘lost’ years. It is so beautifully written by Weston Parker whose books I love as he really knows how to pull at your heartstrings, set a scene of caring, passion and love.  The more that I read his books, the more I appreciate how good an author he is.  Looking forward to reading your next story soon please! I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Jax: (A Gritty Bad Boy MC Romance) (The Lost Breed MC Book 3) by Ali Parker , Weston Parker

Whenever You Need Help – Send For Jax

Jax is Book 3 of The Lost Breed MC Series by Ali Parker and Weston Parker and it is absolutely fantastic!!  I have read all three books now and each one is getting even better than the previous story which I really didn’t think was possible but it may be because I now ‘know’ the main characters and see where they are coming from. having said that please realise that each one can be read as  a standalone but for greater depth it is more fulfilling to read them in order.  The story starts with the announcement that seven massacred bodies of seven of their rival MC gang being found chopped up by a machete but really no clues as to who did it or why!   Meanwhile there is a return to New York of Holly whom Jax used to follow round like a lost puppy when they were younger but she didn’t want to be involved in an MC gang so left with another man, Keith, who is the father of her little boy but is a bully and alcoholic who is dangerous. When Axel and Ellie [book 2] go for a meal with their little girl they see her waitressing and they chat as Axel grew up in the neighbourhood and knew her too. He later lets Jax know that she’s back and Jax seems to almost stand taller and f;lex his muscles as he has never been able to forget her[ or even want to].  This time Holly is not going to avoid Jax as her feelings for him were always strong and when he steps in to help protect her and her son [and sister Kim] he can do no wrong as far as she is concerned.  I liked ‘meeting’ jax in the previous two books and so this all fits in nicely with the overall series.  I must admit that my heart was thudding wildly when Jax and the other two go to the mansion and are caught in the trap but Jax was amazing!!  Ali Parker and Weston Parker really know how to spin a yarn. This series wonderful and I loved how the rough and tough men react to small children and how kind they are.  This really is about a family of bikers who have made each other Family and stick together no matter what. Obviously you will need your fan/air con set to Absolutely MAX Cool as when Jax and Holly get together it is pure HEAT!  I also loved how Kim’s neighbour, a little old lady, threatened to report him to the police if he hurt Kim, Holly and her son! Can’t wait for the next episode as this is a must have read that I didn’t put down till I’d finished reading it.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

My First Love: A Single Mom Bad Boy Love Story by Weston Parker, Ali Parker

   His Only Love

Emmett loved Autumn had known each other virtually their whole lives as their families were next door neighbours and they became the best of friends.  Then Jason’s family moves to town and he becomes part of their friendship.  he’s the one that asks Autumn to date [not Emmett 🙁  ].  Emmett is broken hearted when She and Jason marry, Emmett even walking her down the aisle, even though he knows that Jason is a cheating rat bag. Emmett and Autumn don’t declare their feelings for one another as they’re not sure the other has the same feelings.  So Emmett joins the marines and leaves but not a day dawns without him thinking of her. meanwhile Autumn and Jason have had a gorgeous sweet little girl called Penny but she is also heartbroken when her parents divorce because of his repeated infidelities.  Emmett is badly wounded in Afghanistan and his brother asks for him to be brought home as they’re not sure whether he will survive.  The local newspaper prints the story with pics of the local hero back home and Autumn knows that she must go and see him as she still loves him too.  There has been so much ‘water under the bridge’ but these two wonderful people deserve a chance at real love. Weston Parker has penned an amazing story here for us that will pull at your heart strings. I’m pleased that Jason didn’t really appear much in the story as I disliked him intensely. Please  get yourself a copy of this book as has been written with such caring, emotional feeling or how love can survive the years and the wait is always well worth it. There are some twists in the storyline that I did wonder whether Emmett and Autumn would get together but I was so happy to read the ending. Weston is a terrific author that knows how to create a unique storyline with , mostly, amazing characters that you grow to love throughout the book.  My attention was caught right at the beginning and maintained it right through to the end just as all good books do.

Axel: (A Gritty Bad Boy MC Romance) (The Lost Breed MC Book 2) by Ali Parker, Weston Parker

   Flowers Everywhere For His Girl

Jeremiah Cooper[aka Axel] is one hunk of glorious brooding man that has his mechanic, Ellie, all hot and bothered.  Axel is the second in command to his president, Johnny, of the Lost Breed MC.  But there shop is destroyed deliberately by a rival gang, the Black Hearts that are being now lead by Watson Young who persuaded Axel into the wrong side of the law years ago and is a psycho. When Axel finds out who they are up against he is very troubled. Meanwhile, he’s been keeping Ellie at a distance but warning all other men off her as he considered her to be HIS – which is exactly what she wants. Eventually the passion and heat between them explodes and they both know that nothing can ever be the same between them.  The night they both dressed up and he took her on a proper date was magical. But the  the next morning…well I’m not going to tell you what happens but it changes everything for Axel and really Ellie [don’t worry it’s all good].  This is book 2 of the Lost breed MC Series and it was great as a standalone.  The epilogue really just ended the book perfectly in my mind, Ali Parker really knows how to create a storyline that can ‘speak’ to her readers.  It is all so believable and yet unique.  The passion between Axel and Ellie is just right with the build up and jealousy but he makes sure to let her know that she has no need to be jealous which is so sweet.  I really LOVED this story and think it’s Ali’s best yet.  It’s certainly my favourite of a selection of fantastic stories by her.  I’m really looking forward to book 3 and to see if we hear how this little family is progressing. I received a free reader’s copy of this book and I voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Deepest Desire: A Billionaire Bad Boy Novel by Weston Parker

Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~Weston

Oh my goodness!  Where to start?  be prepared to be swept away in the romance, dazzling lights and smiles that you see when Skylar, a rather shy young woman, is taken on her first holiday to Vegas by her sister.  As soon as she sees Greyson she realises that he is the most handsome man that she’s ever seen and way out of her league. But what she doesn’t realise is that Greyson has spotted her too and wants to get to know her and for her to know him, the Man and not the wealthy owner of the hotel that she’s staying in!  With chemistry off the charts and such wonderful characters as these two plus the great plot I just knew that I was going to love this story – and, indeed, I did. Weston Parker has written a fantastic story for us here with passion, humour, suspense, STEAM HEAT, lust and all leading to love.  from page 1 to the very last I was captivated by the plot and read it all in one go [yes…not much sleep at all that night] but so worth it. It is certainly for age 18+ due the language and very sensual scenes so be warned.  This is a book that I will want to re-read in the future as it is so good.  I look forward to Weston’s next novel. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Debt Collector: A Billionaire Bad Boy Novel by Weston Parker & Ali Parker

   Payback

Andrew is a lonely and bitter man after his father dies leaving him the family business, the only person who doesn’t fear him is his father’s butler, Liam. Andrew is a billionaire now and good looks but neither bring him what he wants. He catches Rick, a supposed family friend of his father stealing an antique from his study and he gives him a choice of prison or worse? When Rick proposes another option: he will get his daughter Sophie, an accountant, to live in Andrew’s home and to work in the accounts department to pay off his offence? Andrew tells her to keep her distance and keep out of his way and is downright unpleasant to her. Weston and Ali Parker are both fantastic authors in their own rights, but together they are magnificent!  The plot is quite unique and the two main characters are so complex , and yet, seeing the transformation in Andrew’s personality is beautifully handled/ The curt way that Andrew treats Sophie is bound to rile a feisty young woman such as herself and I loved how she fought him all the way and refusing to let him make her cower in his presence. The effect she has on him is brilliant and I loved the way Liam also took no notice of his bad humour.  A spectacular story that I know I will want to re-read in the future! When Andrew realises his true feelings and he understands that he is going to have to make changes or he will lose her forever!  I loved this story and am now waiting impatiently for their next romantic adventure to be published!!  I strongly encourage you to get this fast paced story  and hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.

Hot Stuff by Weston Parker

Twists & Turns To Reach Their HEA

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is actually the first book that I’ve read that is just written by Weston Parker. I have, however, enjoyed reading all twelve books that he wrote with Ali Parker, Blythe Reid and Zoe Reid. This book surrounds Gage, who is a single Dad and self made millionaire after establishing his own construction company and it being so successful. After a near death experience he makes his mind up that he is going to be a batter dad and takes full custody of his little girl, Olivia, who was previously being brought up by her maternal grandmother after her mother died. He hears that his best friend Noah’s dad, has just died and so they’re going to go back home and visit as well as attending the funeral. When he gets there he is blown away by Noah’s little sister,Lauren, who is no longer his high school crush and has grown into s stunningly beautiful young woman who is a successful solicitor now who has just resigned form her job. Lauren has never loved any man as she loved Gage but he was her brother’s best friend so a relationship between them was taboo. One between them now is still taboo as far as Noah is concerned. However, Noah is worried about Lauren as he knows that something is going on but she won’t tell him. The sparks of attraction between Gage and Lauren have never dulled, in fact, they are simmering and getting ready to ignite as their passion for one another grows. This is not a straight forward second chance of love between best friend and his sister. It is so much more and that is what makes Weston Parker’s writing stand out and kept me attached to the book from page 1 to the very last page. His writing style is flowing but with tension and suspense that made me so engrossed that I lost sleep till I had finished reading the whole story. It was so well worth losing a few hours sleep and I really encourage you to get your own copy to find out Lauren’s secret and what happens between her and Gage [as well as their little secret too!]. I loved this book and have already bought another of his books already to read next!

Stuff My Stocking (The Parker’s 12 Days of Christmas #12) by Blythe Reid (Goodreads Author), Ali Parker (Goodreads Author), Weston Parker (Goodreads Author), Zoe Reid

  •    Mattie’s Christmas Wish

Here we have book 12 of The Parker’s 12 Days of Christmas by Ali Parker, Blythe Reid, Weston Parker and Zoey Reid. I have now read them all and I can honestly say that I do not have a favourite simply because they are all so great and each has it’s own special place within this Christmas Series but I have loved them all. I think that these four authors have penned one of the most special Christmas Series that I have ever read. I’ve laughed, cried, smiles, swooned and had to turn on the fan for every book! Their writing styles are so wonderfully blended together and have flowed so well that they capture your imagination at page 1 and keep you riveted to the book right to the very end. They are fast paced with essential details that make the characters seem to ‘leap’ off the pages as they are so life like and relatable. The witty dialogue helps to make the stories come alive and I felt compelled to carry on to find out if there was going to be a HEA. In this book we meet twins Tyler and his sister Rebecca who have inherited their dad’s family event business which Rebecca loves. Tyler, however, has inherited their mum’s love of the outdoors and he does his best to keep this a secret. He volunteers to get a Christmas tree for them and he ends up at Mattie’s Christmas Tree business on the family farm which her grandpa started. Times are hard for her and she is desperately trying to keep the business afloat and the farm staying in the family. When Tyler and Mattie meet they are both struck by cupid’s arrow and are in instant lust which neither had experienced before. Mattie has some trust issues and doesn’t know whether she can trust Tyler when he proposes a possible solution to keeping her business. Is Tyler for real and has genuine feelings for her or is he just looking for a one night stand. Only time will tell. I loved the dialogue between the two of them. It was fun to read these two very likeable people fall in love and the chemistry between them was like fireworks going off on Halloween. With terrific friends to assist in their love story and they emotions for one another deepening as time passes, let’s hope all goes to plan and they get their HEA. Whilst I loved Tyler and Mattie were obviously so great for each other, her friends were also important in this tale to make it all that more special. It’s a fun read with fabulous characters and a brilliant ending. This can be read as a standalone or as part of the series. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and hope that you will try it too. Enjoy!
