This is book 6 of The Hangman by W.L.Knightly [aka Ali Parker and Lexy Timms] and this has taken suspense to a new level. We have Jo recovering and thus leaving Jake basically on his own as he really doesn’t know whom he can trust. Corruption runs deep in the department. The Hangman has one more person on his hit list and that is Kyle. But who will get to Kyle first Jake or the Hangman. The FBI has been invited in to help but trouble lies there when Jake sees who has been sent. This has been a fantastic series of suspense that has kept me turning page after page and reaching for each new book eagerly. But what an ending!! Looking forward to more stories by W.L.Knightly. Is This Really A Copycat Killer Or Are We Missing Something??
This is the fifth book in the Hangman Series by the author W.L. Knightly [aka Ali Parker and Lexy Timms] and it is, yet again, another ‘corker’of a book and one that you will not be able to put down as you just dare not do so! There is a new killer in town and this person wants the Hangman to take the ‘credit’! SO retired detective Jack is back on the case with his old partner Jo. Written with suspense in bucketfuls this easy to read thriller will keep you sitting on the edge of your seats as the storyline unfolds. Jo and Jack are getting on better and many secrets are revealed in this episode. Whilst they are trying to discover if there really is a copycat, there is another murder. So who on earth is doing it this time? Someone is still missing and not everyone is being helpful. I’m really looking forward to the next book! Can They Continue To Work Together & Is There A HEA For Them In Their Futures?
This is the fourth book in the Hangman series by W.L. Knightly [aka Ali Parker and Lexy Timms] that will have you sitting on the ‘edge of your seats’ as this thriller series continues. Detectives Jake and Jo are getting closer to the serial killer – they know who he is but just can’t find him! But she is too involved due to her father and brother whom Jake hates. He is so conflicted and is at the stage of wondering whether he can trust her professionalism because of her father’s hold over her. However, if they don’t catch the serial killer then her father and brother may be his next victims. On the other hand, the romantic relationship between Jo and Jake is taking a ponding in this tense case and I’m not sure whether they do have a HEA in their future together. There does need to be some extra care with editing due to some ‘I’ and ‘me’ getting mixed up as well as a few tenses. But otherwise, I am really looking forward to book 5! Oh my! This third episode of The Hangman series by W.L. Knightly [aka Lexy Timms and Ali Parker] just gets better with each book. In this one Detective Jake Thomas knows the identity of The Hangman but can they stop him before he commits any more murders?? He’s murdered their Chief and Jake is so confused as his feelings for Jo are under pressure and he gets way too close to his therapist which could really scupper all his chances with Jo forever. Lexy and Ali are a force with the pen and their power just exceeds each previous book. I’ve loved each book and look forward with impatience for the fourth book! Can They Stop The Hangman Before He Kills Again? A Must Have Read.
This is the second book of the trilogy in the suspenseful series Hangman by WL Knightly [who is really the best selling author team Ali Parker and Lexy Timms]. We were introduced to detective Detective Jake Thomas who is retiring and this is his last case and he hopes it’s one that won’t test his sanity as the Hangman is one determined murderer with a focus. Jake is trying to train his replacement Detective Jo Calloway. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and makes for some fabulous reading. I was hooked with book 1 [just like I was with the Zodiac Killers series] and I can’t wait for book 3. Can these two piece together the clues to save the Chief and stop the Hangman? A great action packed storyline with sensational characters, a deeply disturbing character in the form of the Hangman. I love mysteries and this is one that will be solved but how many more need to die before the Hangman is stopped forever? A superb story that has me on the edge of my seat waiting for book 3!! Well Worth The Year Long Wait! Exceptional Series – Must Have Read!!
This is an exceptional series, the Zodiac Killers, by Ali Parker and Lexy Timms who write together as W.L. Knightly. Now confession time here, I hate series. I avoid them. BUT, when I saw who the authors were I was prepared to give Capricorn a chance way back in the beginning of the year and I was hooked! As months passed by I was getting deeper in the complexities of who was murdering these men and why?? I love solving puzzles and reading mysteries [Agatha Christie got me hooked as a young 10 year old fascinated by her stories and so I enjoyed these monthly episodes and looked forward to them with relish. Derak and Lizzy are the main leads in this series trying to solve this who series of murders. Now Derak is keeping secrets from Lizzy as he knows all the men involved and is working with bay to keep secrets that could destroy both their lives. The detailed ways that they were all murdered were all different and these differences held clues about them that could help you piece together what is going on. Now I have to be honest and tell you that just reading this book alone will not be anywhere near as satisfying as if you had read the whole series, as I did, in the correct sequence. Ali and Lexy are fabulous authors who together, are amazing the way they create these gruesome, deviant and fantastic characters that the reader will meet along the way. The storylines follow through with such detail that are all important and should not be dismissed if you want to solve who is behind it all as I most certainly did. I was certainly shocked at some of the deaths and felt so sad at the ways their bodies had been mutilated but they all held a message that could be used to solve who was behind it all. Oh heavens!!! This series has driven me quietly mad over the year. I NEVER, EVER read or even watch series lol I hate cliffhangers but I only read these as they are so well written. I am just about desperate to find out who Raven is now?? I have my suspicion and if it is then OM Gosh!I love puzzles and this has been one fabulous puzzle conjured up for us by the best selling authors, Ali Parker and Lexy Timms, writing as W.L. Knightly. Over the months we have been taken through different scenarios and characters that have been so well developed and so many secrets and have been kept engrossed in the stories. I do not think you could read this book as a standalone as you really do need the information from the others to understand fully what is going on and in trying to solve the problem for yourself. Brilliantly composed that I am still on the edge of my seat after all these months and I’m more excited to find out all who were in on the murders than I was at the beginning. The twists and turns are perfectly balanced. I confess that once we have the final book that I will be re-reading them all one after the other to enjoy them again. And so the mystery, the tension, the puzzle that has kept me riveted to these books for eleven months continues. Detectives, Derak and Lizzy are still here but the Zodiac killer is gaining on Derak as he knows that the Killer is after him very soon. Lane who is the Libra member of the Zoiac Killer’s list has been sickened by the deaths with Lizzy and Derak and movers and starts his successful restaurant. He’s in New York for a fashion event when things start stepping up a pace. I was really pleased that I (a) wasn’t alone in my home when reading this and (b) that I read it in daylight! Oh boy things get excessively dark and things I didn’t expect to happen in my wildest dreams did. It is obvious that the Zodiac Killer is determined and thorough and is now killing more than those on his/her list. Do I really think that I know who he/she is?? No! I wish I did as it is now driving me mad – hence why I don’t watch serials on tv and tend to avoid them in books. But these books are by two of my favourite authors ALi Parker and Lexy Timms and I knew that the pain of having to wait would be well worth it and, so far, they have exceeded my expectations and beyond!” I now NEED to know who it is and why! This is the ninth book in the Zodiak Series killers by W.L. Knightly [aka Ali Parker and Lexy Timms] . This series started off to a wonderful start and had me finding it difficult to put the book down. I’m now at the stage that I’m sitting on the edge of my seat and wishing the months away to find out who the murder actually is and why they really started on this murder spree. Derak is still on the hunt for our killer and is looking into the mega church and our Zodiak Leo, Carter Hamilton who is a major part of the mega church in San Diego. He’s doing well but when it seems as if he may have to dig into his own pocket to keep afloat he decides that an easier way is to blackmail Brandy instead. Derak and Lizzie are now back together – thank goodness but things aren’t great with his partner, Max, after what happened between him and Lizzie. This is so much more than one ‘mere’ serial killer. The depth of layers to this very complex plot are fascinating and frustrating to me at the same time as I desperately want to know who it is but I don’t, in a way, want the series to end as it is just so BRILLIANT. W.L. Knightly is a superb writing team and I can’t think of any that could surpass them I wish that I was even half as eloquent as our authors so I could express how much I am enjoying and love their writing . Fabulous characters that are developing and storylines that are simply mind boggling. This is a must have read and you need to get it NOW.
