Gemini (Zodiac Killers Book 7) by WL Knightly

  A Fantastic  and Suspenseful Read!

This is the seventh book in the Zodiak Killers by W. L. Knightly [by the best selling authors Ali Parker and Lexy Timms] and each book gets even better as the story carries on.  Derak and Lizzy are still on the trail of the serial killer.  Just as derak thinks it couldn’t get any worse, Lizzy puts her theory of a cult being involved in the murders by asking for the publics help.  This book is based around Cory, the Gemini of the group and a gamer  but I am nowhere nearer to knowing who the killer is as I was at the beginning of the first book. But you know what?  Drespite my general dislike of series, I actually LOVE this as it is so well written and the details make this storyline and the characters so beliveable and suspenseful.  I NEED to know who is doing this and really why. So I will be at the first in the queue to read each and every one of these books till I know!  I’m now impatiently waiting for the eighth book – Cancer. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Taurus (Zodiac Killers Book 6) by WL Knightly

  Tensions Rising…

This is book 6 in the Zodiak Killer Series by W.L. Knightly and I have my theories as to whom the Zodiak Killer might be, but then again I could be so so wrong!  Darek and Lizzy’s off on romance seems to be going nowhere just now. But, then again, so much else is going on! Alan has killed Seth by following orders, his wife has been kidnapped by the Killer and Alan’s should be the next death.  But is it?  This series is full of cliffhangers and there are so many twists in this intricately twisted series so wonderfully written to keep us coming back for more. No spoilers from me as you have to read this for yourself. It is amazing and frustrating at the same time because I now have to wait for Gemini to come out to find out what happens next!!  As I usually hate series, this just shows how well written the storyline is to make me keep returning for more.  I’m now trying to wait patiently for Gemini…

Aries by W.L. Knightly

   Will Seth Survive ?

This is the fifth book in the Zodiac  Killers Series by W.L. Knightly [who is really renowned authors Ali Parker and Lexy Timms writing together] and I have read each and every one of them.  I think that, at a pinch, you could read it as a standalone but to fully appreciate the complexities of the characters and the storyline you really must read them all in order. The main characters are Darek Blake and his partner Lizzy who are so really good together as a working detectives but also finding their way in their new personal relationship.  Their characters are developing nicely but Lizzy is assigned a new case and so the question is whether their loving relationship will continue?  These books are following the deathly trail left by the serial killer.  Is Darek going to get any closer to who the killer might be? Will the killer carry out his murderous intent or will Seth Sloane survive in this book?  This is an extreme well written story with plenty of heat and passion and some explicit scenes so caution is to be noted.  The suspense is captivating and just when I think I’ve got a real idea about who the killer is, I’m given another clue and it totally destroys my train of thought. So it is certainly keeping my mind intrigued and I look forward to the Taurus book next to see whether Lizzy and Darek will be back together as a team in the hunt for the serial killer?? I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Pisces (Zodiac Killers Book 4) by WL Knightly

   Creeping Closer…

This is the fourth book in the fantastic series that has me sitting on the edge of my seat and anxiously waiting for the next episode.  I love the fact that the characters Detective Darek  Blake[the Zodiac’s own Sagittarius] and Lizzy McNamara [his love interest] are recurring in each other the books.  We also meet the Zodiac’s Pisces, Finn Wheeler, who has been trying for years to become an established film producer and his love interest, Bay Collins who is Zodiac’s Scorpio and the club’s leader and who is getting frustrated that no one is keeping him in the loop for what is going on. The killer is still taunting Darek and Finn is running scared.  Such a fantastic series that just gets better with each book.  Ali Parker and Lexy Timms are both in my top favourite authors anyway, but they have proven with this series that they can write about suspense, drama, murder, and give us tension and draw us in so that we are more then ready to read the next book asap. When I get the whole series, I know that I will be re-reading it all in one go as it is just so good.  This is one team of authors that must continue please!

Aquarius (Zodiac Killers Book 3) by WL Knightly

  Can You Solve The Murders First?

This is the third book in the Zodiac Killers series by W. L. Knightly [aka Ali Parker and Lexy Timms who collude together to write these fabulous murder mysteries].  This is yet another nail biting story as the body count mounts up.  Logan who is an artist and lives with an older woman is feeling insecure at the moment as he is sure that she is going to kick him out.  At his friend Tad’s funeral he lends a shoulder to Tad’s sister, Hannah.  As these murders continue he feels that his time will come and he is scared.  Detectives Derek and Lizzy continue to try to solve these murders with their connection to a Zodiac sign.  Logan finds a card with the Zodiac  sign for Aquarius which is his birth sign on his car – the sign used eleven years ago at Camp V where Logan and the other boys all have a secret that they have tried to keep hidden all these years and each only shared with Bay Collins and it was he that began the ‘Zodiac brotherhood’ and he still controls it. This book can be read as a standalone but you really need to have read the previous two books to appreciate all the storyline and it’s characters.  Ali and Lexy have made fantastic characters which you can relate to and the plots they devise are magnificent.  Be prepared to be intrigued, scared, confused, and wanting more. To be honest I prefer to read a series all in one go. So when all the books have been published I will then automatically re-read each one in the correct order to fully appreciate them. I received a free readers copy and leave my honest review of it here.  I encourage you to join in with this mysterious suspenseful novel and try to solve the murders for yourself before Derek and Lizzy.

The Zodiac Killer by WL Knightly

   What’s In Derek’s Past?

Settle yourself down and be prepared to be compelled to finish this book and want to immediately order the next book in the series! This is just a prequel to the Series so be warned that the murder mystery isn’t going to be ‘solved’ in this book. Now I confess that I hate cliffhangers and I tend to collect a series then read them one after the other, but this story was way too good to wait for the others to be published. WL Knightly is a pseudonym for Lexi Timms and Ali Parker from what I’ve read and so I know from that that it’s most likely going to be extremely well written and will capture my attention and maintain throughout the story. It did! The two main characters, apart from the murderer, are Detective Derek Blake of the NYPD and from the FBI, Special Agent Lizzy McNamara. He is married, unhappily, to an ex beauty queen who is unhappy and makes everyone near her unhappy too. But he made his vows and he will stick to them. Lizzy has worked so hard and her dedication to the job has made her an exceptional FBI agent but who is attracted to Derek though she will never do anything about it. A body of a young girl has been found and on her back was a tattoo that brings back dreadful memories to Derek who thought that part of his past was long dead and buried never to be found. But life is like that and is ready to shock you at any time when you least expect it. Lizzie is brought in to help on the case and he doesn’t let her know that many parts of the case bring back memories of a much younger Derek to mind. The suspense is built so well as it’s been cleverly woven into the story to increase the tension which all assists to make this rather dark murder mystery even more thrilling. I do like reading mysteries and murders as well as murder mysteries and this is certainly one of the best that I have read so far. I am now waiting impatiently for the next book as I NEED to know what is going on. Will Derek’s past catch up with him? Will Lizzy and Derek become more attached to one another?? I don’t know but I’m positive that I’m going to find out by reading the rest of the series as I’m hooked on it now. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and encourage you to get a copy and read it too as it is so great! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
