Here we have book 12 of The Parker’s 12 Days of Christmas by Ali Parker, Blythe Reid, Weston Parker and Zoey Reid. I have now read them all and I can honestly say that I do not have a favourite simply because they are all so great and each has it’s own special place within this Christmas Series but I have loved them all. I think that these four authors have penned one of the most special Christmas Series that I have ever read. I’ve laughed, cried, smiles, swooned and had to turn on the fan for every book! Their writing styles are so wonderfully blended together and have flowed so well that they capture your imagination at page 1 and keep you riveted to the book right to the very end. They are fast paced with essential details that make the characters seem to ‘leap’ off the pages as they are so life like and relatable. The witty dialogue helps to make the stories come alive and I felt compelled to carry on to find out if there was going to be a HEA. In this book we meet twins Tyler and his sister Rebecca who have inherited their dad’s family event business which Rebecca loves. Tyler, however, has inherited their mum’s love of the outdoors and he does his best to keep this a secret. He volunteers to get a Christmas tree for them and he ends up at Mattie’s Christmas Tree business on the family farm which her grandpa started. Times are hard for her and she is desperately trying to keep the business afloat and the farm staying in the family. When Tyler and Mattie meet they are both struck by cupid’s arrow and are in instant lust which neither had experienced before. Mattie has some trust issues and doesn’t know whether she can trust Tyler when he proposes a possible solution to keeping her business. Is Tyler for real and has genuine feelings for her or is he just looking for a one night stand. Only time will tell. I loved the dialogue between the two of them. It was fun to read these two very likeable people fall in love and the chemistry between them was like fireworks going off on Halloween. With terrific friends to assist in their love story and they emotions for one another deepening as time passes, let’s hope all goes to plan and they get their HEA. Whilst I loved Tyler and Mattie were obviously so great for each other, her friends were also important in this tale to make it all that more special. It’s a fun read with fabulous characters and a brilliant ending. This can be read as a standalone or as part of the series. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and hope that you will try it too. Enjoy!

  Come Tell Santa All About It!

Oh you are in for a treat with My Sexy Santa by Ali Parker, Blythe Reid, Weston Parker and Zoey Reid. This is book 11 of the The Parker’s 12 Days of Christmas series but can be read as a standalone story in it’s own right. We meet Drayer who has just finished college and with help from his friend he has a temporary job as Santa in a shopping mall until the new Year when he starts his new job in a department store. Elle is feeling rather down lately. She caught her boyfriend cheating and Christmas is not the best time of the year for her. She loses a bet with her best friend which means she has to get a photo of her sitting on Santa’s knee! I don’t think she expected the Santa to be as gorgeous as Drayer’s Santa. Be-still my beating heart as he is swoon worthy and fun too! Drayer is not looking for a one night hook up. He’s ready for finding The One person that will be with him for the rest of his life and when Elle sits on his lap the chemistry between them is like fireworks going off on Halloween. They are just so sweet and hot together and the dialogue is entertaining and fun with laugh out loud moments. But Drayer needs to earn Elle’s trust and find out what it is about Christmas that makes her so sad. have your hankies at the ready as I certainly had to use some. But don’t let me give the impression that this is all gloom and doom as it isn’t. It is a lively, fast paced story with a hunky and gorgeous, caring and protective hero and a heroine who needs to be ‘rescued’ by Drayer. This story left me with a really great feel good factor and , yes, I will be re-reading this again as it’s such a great Christmas read.  I loved this story and encourage you to try it. Enjoy!

When carter is brought in by the company to turn the Advertising Department around as it has been struggling to be effective. Now the problem that is faced is that both Arianna and carter are both A type personalities who are used to getting their way and what they say goes without any question. Heads are going to butt here as they are brought together and must work efficiently too to get this Department functioning at it’s best. Carter’s first thought when he saw Arianna was how attractive she was and how he’d love to have her!Whilst Arianna is mutually attracted to carter his stubborn personality is going to get in the way. They can’t continue with this love/hate relationship and as passions increase they give in to their lust and have one explosive night of passion that literally lit up my Kindle. But just the once was no where near sufficient to dampen their passion. if anything, it merely egged on the flame that is between them but can they carry on and keep their relationship a secret? Ali Parker, Blythe Reid, Weston Parker and Zoey Reid have skillfully penned this Relationship that creates fireworks between two attractive people. They are strong on their own but together they are invincible and they are the Yang and Ying to each other. I loved this story from the beginning right to the end and this was made so by the fantastic characters that I so wanted to get their HEA and the witty dialogue between them that seemed to ‘bounce’ off the pages and made them so wonderful together. I read a copy of this using KU and I loved reading it as much as the others in the series. It can be read as a standalone but they all seem to ‘fit’ together very well.

Now you need to know that Hailey does not rate frat boys very highly and sees them as playboy womanisers with not much to offer beyond that. Enter Brayden, President of the Alpha Kappa Psi, and one of the three ‘volunteers’ who were caught on their latest prank by the Dean Hailey is not the least bit enthused with having to work with them and the emails between Brayden and Hailey are not particularly friendly. But when they meet, they are both instantly attracted to one another and lust fills their every thought now that they have to work hand in hand. As they get to know each other better they feelings deepen and lust turns to love. The love scenes sizzle with the chemistry between these two lovers but will they become a proper couple and get their HEA or Brayden just playing with her heart? Ali Parker, Blythe Reid, Weston Parker and Zoey Reid have done it again and made a winning Christmas story that will keep you enthralled with their passionate and steamy love scenes and wondering whether there will be a HEA. I really enjoyed this book 9 in the series and look forward to reading more by these terrific authors. I got this book by KU and will be re-reading it as it’s so good. beautifully written and with characters that you can relate to.

Will she reveal the truth and let him help her if he can? Only Ali Parker, Blythe Reid, Weston Parker and Zoey Reid can write scenes so steamy and yet so erotic and actually romantic. They build up the story with their believable characters and have you enthralled form page one to the very end of the story where you can relax and enjoy their HEA in the Christmas season. This is book 7 of The 12 days of Christmas written by these four very successful authors. I really enjoyed the story and kept hoping for them to have their own HEA. A lovely story that is a perfect fit in the series. They do not have to be read in the numeric order and can be read as standalones. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

My Christmas Wish: A Sexy Bad Boy Holiday Novel (The Parker’s 12 Days of Christmas Book 6)

The best laid plans can often go terribly wrong and that is what appears to be happening for Talon and Charlotte. They have been going out together and in love for over four years since Freshman year and they are now studying for their finals. Talon’s behaviour has changed lately and Charlotte is very worried but he won’t give her any clue.  When her parents come for a meal and her dad asks Talon when the wedding is going to be you could almost feel Charlotte’s anguish as Talon evades the question. They have a night out with their best friends and Charlotte confides saying that she thinks that he is cheating on her.  Talon does have a secret – but you know that I’m not going to tell you what it is!  He does, however, tell her dad saying it is essential to keep this a secret just till Christmas. The next day Charlotte and Talon have a major fight and she leaves him. Talon is broken and so is she.  Ali and Weston parker as well as Blythe and Zoey Reid have really given us a potentially heart breaking story here. It is so well written and you can almost feel the tension in the room when her dad asks when the wedding is?  The thing is that Talon is the ‘perfect’ boyfriend: caring, loving; protective; considerate; good looking; generous [well on student terms] and will do anything for Charlotte. She should remember all this before storming off. This was a real page turner that I couldn’t put down until I’d found out what was going on behind the scenes.  Well worth the missed sleep to find out!

 Book 4 of The Parker’s 12 Days of Christmas

Sean’s dad is seriously ill and the medical bills are mounting up so he is in desperate need of a longterm job to keep the ‘wolf from the door’ so to speak and being able to keep paying for the treatment that dad needs.  He lands a temporary job at billionaire, Paul’s ranch and he’s told by the caretaker that if he proves his worth it could be a permanent position which would make life so much better for his family.  Sean is a young man with a good head on his shoulders who is very loyal and loving.  He meets Paul’s 21 year old bombshell of a daughter called Brooklyn and she makes no attempt to hide that she fancies the pants off of him!  And the feeling is mutual.  But Paul warns him off and her mother is even more certain that she wants Brooklyn to have nothing to do with him. So to keep his job he tries to keep his distance but Brooklyn doesn’t make it easy.  Brooklyn seemed, at first, to be a spoiled wealthy brat and I didn’t particularly like her but as the story progresses she did grow on me.  Can these two young and in lust people keep their distance from one another or are they going to sneak around her parents??  The latter of course as this make the book more fun and Zoey & Blythe as well as Ali and Weston parker are writing about fun in this book with romance in the offing too.  Will they get their HEA?  What happens if they get caught? |Will Sean lose his job and what will happen to his family, his dad’s treatment in particular?  A well planned story and developed characters but, at times, details didn’t seem to ‘gel’ which I didn’t find in the other books that I’ve read by them?  Still I really did enjoy this Christmas story and would encourage you to read it for yourself.

Where to start about a story that I loved everything about it? Story was great and there was no need for a viper in the story so our four authors Ali Parker, Blythe Reid, Weston Parker and Zoey Reid didn’t write one in just for the sake of it.  Madlyn is a single Mum in her late twenties whose ex was trouble and she is left loving and bringing up their son, Bennie [who you will LOVE by the end of the story – particularly with his one liners].  Bennie is 6 years old and you know the way young children can say things that they don’t really understand but make the ‘grown ups’ crack up with laughter?  Bennie does that in this story and he was just priceless.  Now in the office where Madlyn works she has noticed and lusted after a young man called Connor who is 25 and he is equally lusting after her.  He doesn’t think that he stands a chance with her but fate has deemed otherwise and with a ‘little help’ the office holds a Secret Santa game but it’s only for single people and guess whose name is teamed with Madlyn’s? That’s right…Connor. She knows that he likes her as she has caught him staring at her often enough. So will this amorous pair become each other’s Christmas present??  To find out.. you MUST read this book.  It was lively, imaginative, sexy, funny with laugh out loud moments and shhh a HEA!

This is one book that I will definitely be re-reading in the future as it has that ‘feel good factor’ to it.

   Book 2 The Parker’s 12 Days of Christmas

Lily is excellent with numbers and, as such, with her exceedingly high scores in tests she misses the first year of college.  Whilst taking her Cost Accounting Class she can’t help but notice and crush on Alex.  Alex is is the president of his frat boy house [think drink, womanising and as little college work as possible and you’ll get my drift] and he is on a scholarship because he is a track star but if his grades don’t improve in accounting he will fail and lose his scholarship which he can’t afford to do. His lecturer suggests that he find a tutor and it’s whilst at one of his frat house parties that he meets shy, nerdy and beautiful Lily literally in his lap.  He asks if she will help tutor him and she agrees on the condition that she and her best friend, Amber, can come to some frat house parties.  Alex agrees and his studies begin to improve with Lily’s help.  But whilst his studies are doing so much better he is becoming friends with Lily and their attraction for one another rises exponentially. One thing leads to another and they share a night of passion beyond their wildest dreams.  I really did enjoy ‘#hearing’ their two POV [i.e. Points Of View] throughout the story as it helped me to understand them so much better.  They really were a good match despite their 3 years difference in their ages as Lily was mature for her age and helped balance Alex’s ‘wilder’ side to his personality This had a great storyline  with such interesting characters  that I genuinely liked.  Apart, that is, from Brent.  He is the ‘vipera in horto’ or snake in the grass that Alex needs to watch like a hawk. This is a fun, and believable story which captured my imagination at page 1 and retained it till I got to the end. Then I had book 3 to read next!

    Book 1 of The Parker’s 12 Days of Christmas

 

This is set in winter in Savannah [which I’ve been to and is a beautiful city].  We meet not one but three ex military men, Jack [our hero in this story], his best friend Matt and matt’s dad whose security firm they all work for.  jack has just come out of ex Delta Force . His last mission didn’t go as well as planned and he’s now settling into civilian life working for his best friend’s dad.  When he walks in he is stunned by the gorgeous young woman standing there and he realises it’s Emma, Matt’s little sister who had a major crush on him as a teenager. She’s all grown up in the most delightful, curvy way and he wants her and the feeling seems to be mutual.  matt and her dad want to protect Emma and keep her behind a desk away from any danger but she wants to be much more involved and is getting frustrated with the two of them.  Jack is assigned his first client but Jack is suspicious of the awkward customer and thinks that he is up to no good and that there is much more going on than just a protection issue.  When Emma gets involved too, Jack’s sense of high alert goes sky high as there is no way that he’s going to let her get hurt.   A mystery to solve and a stunning heroine to save…Jack is the Man to do it!  I really enjoyed this story as it has so many elements to it that could have been way too much. However, with authors such as Ali Parker, Weston parker, Blythe Reid and Zoey Reid you know that the writing is going to be terrific. The storyline was credible and the characters were 3-dimensional and very likeable [well the good ones were and the ‘baddies’ were truly awful]. The banter between Emma and  Jack was entertaining, flirty and you could practically seem the steam and sizzling sparks of passion between these two as I read the story.  Instant lust/passion takes on a whole new meaning with these two as they are so well suited. He is a genuine guy who has troubled memories from his time in the service but he doesn’t try to blot it out on alcohol or womanising.  He just copes as best as he can, not harming anyone and slowly will work out coping strategies as time goes on and, I would imagine, get help if he felt he needed it as Jack is no fool.  Emma is feisty which he loves even though it frustrates him at times when she puts herself in danger.  But she knows that he, Matt and her dad will be there to rescue her – although she feels more than capable of looking after herself and they’d better not forget that!  This is book 1 of 12 altogether and whilst you don’t need to read them in numerical order you do meet up with some characters in subsequent stories which was a feature that I especially loved.  Roll on the next 11 eleven stories as this is a fantastic start and far exceeded my high expectations as it was.  This is a fast paced story, so fasten your seat belt and hang on for the ride!
