Sold as a Domme on Valentine’s Day: A Virgin and Billionaire Romance by Juliana Conners

   Willingly Her Sub!

If this is the first book that you’ve read by Juliana Conners then let me tell you that you are in for a fantastic, red hot read with plenty of sizzling chemistry between the two main protagonists, Jordan and Bianca.  If, like me, you’re a fan of her books then  you know what to expect. Bianca doesn’t want to lose her virginity to a read hot alpha male but she does want a strong alpha male to let her Dominate him!! Jordan is a red, scorching hot real billionaire alpha male who knows when he sees Bianca at the Club where women can auction themselves off to the highest bidder that he is going to have her. He knows that as a strong man that he also needs a strong feisty beautiful curvy young woman such as Bianca to dominate him  he also knows that she’s going to be giving her v-card to him willingly and enjoying it too! Juliana writes with passion throughout this great storyline and brings Jordan and Bianca to ‘life’ before your very eyes.  She certainly captured my attention on page one and maintained it throughout the story. As usual with one of Juliana’s stories, I didn’t put the book down until I had finished the story it was so good. With great characters that we ‘heard’ their POV it really brought the plot alive. I loved the way that Juliana writes so that the words just seem to flow across the page building up all the details to make the characters seem so real and I genuinely liked them.  Bianca and Jordan were just so good together and as well as passion by the bucket full there was also so much more such as trust, protectiveness and a deep understanding and love. Yes you know you’re going to need to have your air con or fans set to maximum cool as this book is HOT but it’s just so worth while the little discomfort.  I’m now looking forward to reading her next romantic adventure as patiently as I can.  I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

However, I’m a fan of her books so I bought my own copy and will be enjoying reading the bonus material over the half term holiday this next week.  I strongly encourage you to get this story as I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if my brief resume appeals to you. Enjoy!!

DEFINITELY  RECOMMENDED.

Owning Swan (A Naughty Beasts & Filthy Princes Romance Book 2) by Carter Blake

  The Ugly Duckling No More!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.   Quinn is back home after his football career in the NFL was destroyed when his knee was badly damaged.  He’s not enjoying life and this 6 feet tall and very handsome young man has no love life and his three older brothers, Killian, Derek, and Tate, are making his life even more miserable.  One night at the bar, they make him a bet that he can’t really refuse: he has to find a woman to take home tonight to sleep with.  If he succeeds, then Killan will not bring his cougar women to any of their outings again. If he fails, then they will taunt and plague him about his lack of a love life forever!  Yes, really mature older brothers!  Just then a gorgeous blonde young woman walks in and Quinn makes a beeline straight for her. he doesn’t recognise her but she recognises him as they were in high school together and she has had a crush on him for years. Back then his brothers made her life a living hell but they don’t recognise her either.  This is the second book that I’ve read by carter Blake and I’m really enjoying his writing style, the characters he creates for us, the way he includes a POV from the male protagonists viewpoint and a female lead who is not going to be a push over.  It was also refreshing that it wasn’t until towards the end of the story that you realise that Abigail is a BBW [Big, Beautiful Woman] and not a skinny heroine as seem to figure in the majority of stories.  Abigail and Quinn’s story is very moving and is a very enjoyable read as you follow them falling in love with one another.  There is humour too as well as chemistry between Quinn and Abigail which is so sensitively woven between the pages. This is a fast paced, must have read that I will be re-reading in the future as I enjoyed ‘meeting’ them so much. It would be interesting to see if his older brothers get their own HEAs.

DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED
