Obeying Rowen (Club Zodiac Book 2) Kindle Edition by Becca Jameson

  She’s Worth The Wait

Faith is a wealthy woman who has been hurt by love and doesn’t want to ‘feel’ again. So she pretends to be a Domme but she isn’t.  She’s not even a Switch. But she pretends to be to guard her heart. Now Rowen has been watching her for a while but he is a Dom and doesn’t deal with Switches. Then fate appears to be on his side and she is now on her knees before him as the Submissive he knew her to be all this time. This the second in the Club Zodiac Series by Becca Jameson and we meet the owners, some members and the recently new member, faith. I read the first book and you can see my review on my blog, Goodreads and Amazon. The first book was far better than I ever envisaged and I looked forward to reading book 2 and now that I have read it, I realise that if you haven’t read either book, then you’re really missing out on some rollicking reads. Rowen doesn’t like the wealthy or people who are not family oriented so faith is a mystery to him. But when she agrees to be his submissive he says he will give her a one  week trial and they can only communicate by text, email or telephone calls.  But getting any information from her is really difficult but he has to continue as he has developed feelings for her that he didn’t expect. he wants to see whether they can have a real relationship but they have a long way to go but Rowen thinks she will be worth it.  beautifully written by Becca and this fabulous series just improves with each book. I read this in one go as my imagination was captured on page one and continued right to the end. Now waiting for book 3 to read.  This is a great series and I strongly encourage you to try it for yourself. All four of these wonderful short stories by Kira Blakely will sweep you away to the beautiful Island with warm tropical breezes and the air full of passion.  I really enjoyed all four stories but my favourite has to be Forbidden Daddy as the chemistry between them was so explosive and so unexpected!!! Now that is one homecoming that could cause all sorts of issues!  A very close second was Forbidden Feast with Ella and Rainier, those two tortured souls all because they refuse to spoil a working relationship if the other doesn’t feel the same.  It’s just as well that Fate helped them get their HEA.  All of these were written with such a wonderful style that is all Kira’s and that is what makes them all that more special! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The Experiment by Holly Hart

  Exceptional Writing!

Oh My Gosh!  Holly Hart has penned a real blockbuster here in this fabulously intense, emotional, suspenseful, mystery and unexpected romance.  Brandon’s company seems to be having some trouble but he can’t work out who is causing it. he feels as if he is being followed and when his plane crashes, but he survives he doesn’t know who to trust or what to believe. So he pretends that he has died and lies low whilst trying to solve the mystery. Meanwhile, Lily is in a rock band and is just starting her first holiday for years so she is really set to enjoy the next three weeks.  She’s going to be completely away form her slime-ball of a manager, Wayne, who has been abusing her for years and actually is saved by Brandon who lives next door from a beating by Wayne.  Can these two troubled souls find safety and love with one another? Can Brandon solve the mystery of who is trying to take over his company? What can they do about Lily’s sleazy manager? Will they find happiness together?  This is a very different story form Holly’s usual style but I LOVE IT!!!  I can’t wait to read more in her next book!  get a copy of this and enjoy!!  I received a free reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion here.

   Can’t Get Too Hot

Oh my!  What a series this is going to be with Colton and Ally going into this ‘professional’ relationship it is so obvious that emotions are going to get involved too.  Prepare to have your fans set to MAX cool as you’re going to need it.  This is a fabulous start to Vivian Ward’s book 1 of Risky Gamble.  Can’t wait for book 2 to be published. With amazing characters and a plot that is so HOT and with the promise that this is the mildest of the books then we are in for a heatwave! Bad Boy (Blue Collar Bachelors #3) by Cassie-Ann L. Miller

    From Enemies To Lovers

Oh boy he just had to come into town and set up his barber shop right next to my bakery shop. He is so infuriating and he seems to love making me furious.  And the types that come to get their hair cut at his shop do not mix well with my clientèle!  Poor Vivian – she tries to always do her very best but this ‘awful’ Clinton set up shop right next to my Broken Cupcake.  He does everything he can to wind Vivian up and get her attention as he can’t stop thinking about her. With his tattoos and loud noisy music blaring plus the motorbikes that are all noisy too and dirty.  Clinton and Vivian are so well matched by Cassie-Ann Miller, in this enemies to lovers novel.  be prepared to laugh out loud, to giggle, to smile and have fun ‘listening’ to their verbal encounters and don’t forget their red hot and steamy love scenes!!  get your fans set to MAX cool as you’re going to need it when reading your copy of this book.  Cassie-Ann has woven a wonderful cast to this story that I really enjoyed this latest story and it is part three of the Blue Collar Bachelor Series. 17 December 2017 –  If you haven’t read any of Juliana Conner’s books before, then WHY?? And secondly, this is the book that will persuade you to become a real fan of her stories as, for a limited time, you get the ‘Sold at the Auction: Virgin and Billionaire Romance Series Box Set’ by her as a bonus when you purchase Sold on Christmas Eve so it is an absolute bargain and wonderful series to read. I have reviewed it before and gave it a 5 stars rating as it was so good. In this latest story we meet Mariah who is a virgin and student who is shy and needs to live a little. Her best friend , Jane, persuades her to go for a short holiday to Aspen to ski and have fun. Whilst there they meet Paul, who is a multi billionaire and is ‘recovering’ from a break up with his cheating ex. he and his friends invite Mariah and Jane to The Exchange Club that night – not telling them what sort of club it is! When Mariah and Jane get there, there was no way that Mariah was going to miss out seeing Paul again, they discover how women can auction themselves off to the highest bidder. Mariah decides this is the right time to get rid f her v-card and hopes that Paul will bid and win her. That he does and this is when the fun really starts for them both and exceeds both their expectations. Juliana has woven a clever story here with believable characters that I loved as Mariah and Paul are so much fun and genuinely nice people who are so obviously attracted to one another and are ‘good’ together. I liked ‘hearing’ their thoughts and really rooted for them. Yes, it may be a bit far fetched how she just happened to meet a handsome billionaire with the personality to match but this is a story and all sorts of things can and do happen in them for our entertainment. The scenes between Mariah and Paul are passionate and caring and he can’t get over how his feelings for her are so strong on such a short acquaintance. But who cares? It’s Christmas. It’s written with passion and the words flow beautifully . I read this story in one go as I just didn’t want to put it down so I now need to catch up on my sleep, but it was so worth it. The chemistry between Paul and Mariah was off the charts and all leading to a HEA. Obviously there are some twist but you’re going to have to find out by reading the story for yourself

3) Sold as a Domme on Valentine’s Day – Willingly Her Sub!

9 February 2018 – If this is the first book that you’ve read by Juliana Conners then let me tell you that you are in for a fantastic, red hot read with plenty of sizzling chemistry between the two main protagonists, Jordan and Bianca.  If, like me, you’re a fan of her books then  you know what to expect. Bianca doesn’t want to lose her virginity to a read hot alpha male but she does want a strong alpha male to let her Dominate him!! Jordan is a red, scorching hot real billionaire alpha male who knows when he sees Bianca at the Club where women can auction themselves off to the highest bidder that he is going to have her. He knows that as a strong man that he also needs a strong feisty beautiful curvy young woman such as Bianca to dominate him  he also knows that she’s going to be giving her v-card to him willingly and enjoying it too! Juliana writes with passion throughout this great storyline and brings Jordan and Bianca to ‘life’ before your very eyes.  She certainly captured my attention on page one and maintained it throughout the story. As usual with one of Juliana’s stories, I didn’t put the book down until I had finished the story it was so good. With great characters that we ‘heard’ their POV it really brought the plot alive. I loved the way that Juliana writes so that the words just seem to flow across the page building up all the details to make the characters seem so real and I genuinely liked them.  Bianca and Jordan were just so good together and as well as passion by the bucket full there was also so much more such as trust, protectiveness and a deep understanding and love. Yes you know you’re going to need to have your air con or fans set to maximum cool as this book is HOT but it’s just so worth while the little discomfort.  I’m now looking forward to reading her next romantic adventure as patiently as I can.  I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

and 4) a bonus novella exclusive to this box set, Sold in Aspen – this is set about a year from the first of the SOLD stories and is told from Paul and Mariah’s POV. However, what makes this really great is that it includes all three couples and we get to ‘see’ how their HEA’s are continuing which is a rare treat. I cannot encourage you too much to get your own copy of this wonderful bundle by Juliana Conners where you will find interesting storylines, fantastic characters that may make you swoon 😉 and certainly will make the temperature rise whilst you’re reading them – so have your fans/air con at the ready to turn to max cool and away you go.  I received a free reader’s copy and leave my honest opinion of it here.  Enjoy!!! 7 November 2017  – I loved the characters of Lacie and Riker but the Melanie one needs to be put down as she was so wicked. Glad I got that out of my system! Both Lacie and Riker have come from the city, her to start up a new design business and him to help young kids who are at risk . Lacie moves into her late grandmother’s cabin but it needs some updating so she asks at the local diner and Riker goes after the job. Their attraction is instant and with being so close one thing leads to another and we have STEAM HEAT. But then one of the old biddies, a Mrs Pettigrew, says it isn’t good for Lacie to be near Riker and with her employee, the Vile Melanie telling constant lies about Riker, Lacie withdraws from him leaving him upset and confused. The Evil Melanie, stage hiss and boos here please, takes advantage of Riker! No spoilers now. let’s just say that Ashlee Price has written a corker of a story here with Mrs Pettigrew and the Vile Melanie being the characters so unpleasant that I really wanted something unpleasant to happen to them! But the lust that turned to love between Riker and Lacie cannot be ignored and the Vile one’s lies won’t be believed for ever, thank goodness. I love Ashlee’s stories and this is one of her best 🙂 if you haven’t read any of her books before please do try this and then you will see why her stories are so popular and there are plenty for you to catch up on. Book 2: Rekindled –Left Alone And Pregnant Without A Backward Glance…

8 October 2017 – Michael was born with a silver spoon in his mouth as they say. Callie was not. Ashlee Price introduced us to them as high school sweethearts who love one another and on graduation night they have sex. Michael isn’t particularly mature and ends up in a fight with his friend and leaves to go to college and basically forgets about Callie who he supposedly loves and no one else [that’s why he isn’t one of my favourite “heroes”]. Callie finds out that she is pregnant but doesn’t think that she should tell Michael because of his maturity and she doesn’t want to spoil his chances at college.She has her dad and Michael’s son to keep her busy looking after them. She does marry but within 24 hours she is a widow. Their mutual friend tells Michael that he needs to hear something about Callie… No spoilers from me here, In Rekindled, we see Callie cope with being a single mum, heartbroken as her sweetheart leaves her for college and knowing he’s out womanising whilst she bears his child. She is also suffering from PTSD. How can this couple ever become a family? So much going on and I feel so sorry for Callie as she deserves so much more than Michaels’ lack of concern for her.I’m going to read this again as I have always loved Ashlee’s characters [and obviously her books] before and Michael just doesn’t seem good enough for Callie. Still an excellent book with Ashlee’s lovely flowing style of writing. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

Book 3: My Protector – Will They Protect Each Other’s Heart?

4 September 2017 – Jenna has just finished college but doesn’t know where to go, or if she will, to grad school. She returns to her hometown where her father’s business is going downhill and he is having difficulties with a horrid shade character. plus he ex boyfriend, Tanner, a fireman no less and gorgeous with it, who asked her to marry him before she left for college is still holding her heart in his hands. But after she rejected him he tried to move on with Brandy but they aren’t exactly in a stable nor consistent relationship. Jenna’s Dad is not coping since her mum died and she is so worried about him, what’s she going to do in her life and whether she wants Tanner back. She’s all over the place. Tanner still wants Jenna but he’s got to cope with the extra work with fires round town, with Jenna “flying off the handle” and not listening to explanations form people she should trust. Tanner is a wonderful man whilst being absolutely a real stud muffin and a fireman, he really cares about Jenna but can he trust her to guard and nurture his heart if he offers it again to her? A truly fabulous story by Ashlee price whose writing just becomes more absorbing with every book she writes. I think this is her best yet and the others are terrific!!! Five Mountain Daddies: A Reverse Harem Romance by B. B. Hamel

   Will She Stay With Them?

London is home from college and is trying to save some money over the summer holidays so she goes home to her mum and dad. Whilst she’s there they have a party and it is there that she meets James. He’s an older mountain man , probably twice her age of 22 years old,and he is extremely attracted to her instantly and the feeling is mutual but she’s got an art internship to go to in NY after the summer.  But then James tells his four best friends and partners about her and the four of them want to meet her also. So James with Cole, Henry, Ryan and Wade all meet her and they make it very plain that they want to have fun and with her. All FIVE of them!!  But how can London choose between these five handsome hunks??  Or does she have to choose?? Will she leave her five men and go to MY or will they be able to persuade her to remain with them forever?? To find out you’re going to have to get your own copy! This is the latest story by B.B. Hamel and if this is the first of her books that you’ve read then be prepared for great characters that are full of life and very passionate and sensual and be warned that things are about to get HOT!.  She weaves her story around these six individuals who are so much more when they are together in this steamy and fun storyline.  I was so engrossed in the story that I read this into the wee small hours of the morning so now need to catch up on some sleep – but it was well worth the loss of sleep.  This is a great read and one that I will be re-reading in the future. I have the bonus story to read this weekend! I really encourage you to get this book as it is one of her best and very entertaining. I received an advanced reader’s copy of this book and leave my honest opinion of it here.

Their Secret: An MMF Bisexual Secret Baby Romance by Cassandra Dee, Katie Ford

   Oh NO They Didn’t?

If you want a red hot read with plenty of lust, passion and steamy scenes of erotic a then you need look no further as Cassandra Dee and Katie Ford have written it for you in this HOT , fast paced read about the menage between Mona, Gray [her stepfather] and Mason [her sex therapist].  Whew – I never thought that I’d read a book with that combination but read it I did indeed do and it was fun.  yes, it was stretching the imagination as the relationship between Mona and Gray was taboo to say the very least and with Mason was just inappropriate.  Then add into the mix that she gets pregnant with twins and they have different fathers!!  You need to get this book. But before you read it you need to do the following: make sure your fan is working and set to max cool; have a cold drink at hand; switch off your phone; shut out the lights as you’re going to become involved in this intricate and red, hot steamy read with plenty of lust, passion and plenty of erotic scenes described in detail. Will there be a HEA at the end?? That’s for you to find out!  This is one story that you are unlikely to ever forget and the bonus material is well worth reading too – so don’t forget to read and enjoy it too.  Very well written by Cassandra and Katie who know how to spin a story, give it some heat and plenty of interesting characters!
