Bear’s Perfect Match: Nightfair Shifters Series, a BWWM Romance by Julye Evans

A Great New Bear Shifter Series.

Someone is taking out lone shifters so ‘shifter detective’ Ginny [bear shifter]        partners up with an aggressive lone honey bear badger, Eli.  Now this is the first in the Nightfair Shifter Series and it is off to a great start here. Written by Julye Evans who is a new author to me.  Eli is one glorious hero to have in a book.  Typical alpha male and oh my goodness.  Swoon factor wherever he goes.  Ginny is certainly feisty but she isn’t my favourite heroine that I’ve read before.  Eli’s character more than makes up for her.  Most of the secondary characters are obviously going to have their own stories and I look forward to reading them. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended

Untamed Daddy (Mountain Men of Bear Valley #3) by Frankie Love, Chantel Seabrook

  Can These Three Form A Family?

Wes and Kate feature in this third book in the Mountain Men of Bear Valley  by Frankie Love and Chantel Seabrook with his adorable daughter Finlay bringing them together.  He had her but not with his fated Mate and this lead to untold both with the Grizzly Clan nearby. But Finlay’s mum died and they want her.  Finlay is quite a character and in nee of a mother figure in her life.  She latches onto Kate who is a tv chef and new to the Valley. Wes is immediately attracted to her but she’s not staying and he knows that if he kisses her that he will be lost as he knows she is his Mate.  What happens when they do get together and she discovers the truth about him? Then what will happen when she gets a fantastic offer?  Wes, Kate and Finlay are wonderful characters that are so easy to love and it is so well written that you will be trapped between the pages not wanting it to finish but, at the same time, needing to know what happens.  These two authors on their own are great but together they are terrific!  I look forward to book 4 with anticipation. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.  Most Definitely Recommended!

Untamed Virgins (Mountain Men of Bear Valley Book 1) by Chantel Seabrook and Frankie Love

  A Wonderful Paranormal New Series!!

“Bear Valley: Where rugged men find more than a safe haven — they find their mates.”  This is the first book that I’ve read by Chantel Seabrook but it won’t be the last as I really enjoyed this first episode in the  Mountain Men of Bear Valley  and I simply now got to read the rest by her and the best selling author Frankie Love.  This is a paranormal series about men who are bear shifters [my personal favourites as I just love anything to do with bears].  In this we are introduced to the oldest of the bear shifting brothers, Gunner and Adelaide Spencer.  Adelaide has just moved to the Valley with her friends to open  a bookstore that had been in the family and not expecting to find her one true love. But as soon as Gunner sees her , he knows that she is his Mate and once they kiss that is decided and he can have no one else.  So beautifully written with warmth, humour, realism and such amazing characters that I found them so easy to love and enjoy their story.  How will Adelaide react when she finds out Gunner’s family secret?  bearing in mind that she didn’t even know that shifters existed in the first place?  The attraction between them is so powerful that they are like two magnets drawn to each other and no one can, hopefully, pull them apart.  To find out what happens you need to get a copy and discover for yourself.  I certainly am looking forward to the next books in the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended – a great start to the series.

Her Enchanted Alpha Match (Matchmaker Book 4) by Emilia Hartley

  Finding Her Own Fated Mate

Nessa is a terrific matchmaker for shifters.  But not so great for herself.  She is a cat shifter and is very content in many ways.  Caz is all alpha male and a bear shifter at that so he must be brutal – mustn’t he?  But when she has tyrouble with her car and goes to his garage for help she finds out that he isn’t at all like she thought. In fact, he is rather nice!  She’d like to go out with him. But there’s a problem in the form of a wicked witch who wants him for herself and she will be mad if Nessa doesn’t get him to go out with her instead!.  Beautifully written by Emilia Hartley who is a fabulous paranormal author whose books I ‘discovered’ a couple of years ago and I’ve been reading them ever since as they are just so well written with great storylines and fascinating characters.  I loved ‘meeting’ Nessa and Caz and they were just so good together. The air seemed to practically sizzle whenever they were together.  I love bear shifter stories, in particular, and I think this is the best one yet so I really do encourage you to read this for yourself.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.  SO good that I bought my own copy so that I could re-read it again and support the author

  Getting To Know You

So let’s see: Meg Ripley – author; Bear Shifter – brilliant!; Fantastic storyline – check; great characters -superb! Steam heat -0 WHEW – turn on the fans/ac. Alexis is a new college graduate and is wanting to see the world. So she gets a fantastic job as a park ranger in Alaska and as part of this she gets a free cruise on a ship too. But it’s when she meets Cooper, her trainer , that things heat up! Tall, gorgeous and swoon worthy and did I mention that he’s a bear shifter?? They can’t deny their passion as the room heats up whenever they’re together but he isn’t prepared to leave his clan and she’s off to see the world. What is going to happen to them? Can they really ignore their feelings for each other?? And then there is the surprise! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I have loved each and every one of the books that I’ve read by Meg Ripley and this is exactly the same. The writing is relaxed and smoothly flowing through the pages and she drew me into their ‘lives’ leading me not to want to put the book down. It is a real page turner with wonderful, 3-dimensional characters that I loved. Most DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

Her Alpha Mismatch (Matchmaker Book 3) by Emilia Hartley

  The Alpha Needs Her Help

Regina is a fox shifter and loves the 1950’s styles except being for being a ‘perfect 1950’s wife’!  She doesn’t want a fox shifter as a mate and husband –  definitely not for her. So when the matchmaker suggests she have a date with an alpha male bear shifter she is very surprised to say the least!  But Oscar is gorgeous and there is just something about him…  When he asks her for help she can’t stop herself from saying YES.  Emilia Hartley knows exactly how to draw me into her stories [and since she is a top US best selling author, it’s obviously not just me who loves her stories].  Her storylines are unique and the way she she builds her characters right in front of you so that you feel as if you almost know them.  Oscar and Regina are just so good together with plenty of passion and fun!  As Oscar was my favourite type of paranormal creature, a bear shifter, I was naturally looking forward to reading the book but it was so much more than just him and a thoroughly good story!  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Bearly Friends by Selina Coffey

  A First Class Paranormal Read

I have read many of Selina Coffey’s stories over the last few years but these are my absolute favourites.  Reasons why they are?  Well they are about the paranormal and, in particular, bear shifters that I love to read about. These  stories are so well written with fabulous characters that you will remember long after reading the stories – for example, Hale and Tessa in Book 1  TESSA – A circle of friends is a thing to cherish.  In  Book 2 – CORA she meets the delectable Rhys and Knox [oh my!] and Book 2 – KAIA she meets Zed [all alpha male and ready to love and protect her].  With great storylines and plenty of heat and steam that will have you reaching for your fans/ac to set to max cool.  I had read each of these individually before but just had to re-read them as they are so good. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.  Definitely recommended – a wonderful collection!

  An Excellent Introduction To The Paranormal

Welcome to the small town of Orville where humans live side by side, and in peace, with creatures of the paranormal.  You’ll encounter bear shifters, rogue shifters, vampires, fae, witches and psychics who will pull at your heart strings. be prepared to be surprised by cooperation between all peoples.  The four books are :-

Evan:-  A bear shifter and policeman. When a new inhabitant joins the town to take over the florist shop that her grandmother owned, Evan pays a visit and knows that Deanna is going to be very special in his life!

Garrett:- Another bear shifter and deputy sheriff in Orville.  When rogues attack and kill a well respected  member of the community who was a vampire.  So he ends up looking after three new vampires to the town and this means that he comes in contact with Angel. Angel, a vampire, is used to life being difficult but Garrett isn’t making it any easier. But there is an attraction between them – no matter how hard they try to ignore it.

Adam:-  He appears at Hazel, the town’s ‘doctor’ for help.  He is an ancient soul but keeps exactly what he is a secret as he doesn’t want to lead to any harm coming to Hazel’s door.

Nikoli :- The sheriff and bear shifter who is suspicious of everyone –  particularly the witch who is very powerful and lives like a hermit on her own.  But there is more to her than at first sight. Irene just wants to be left alone to practice her magic and this interfering sheriff is just getting in the way. And he is maddening!!!

This is one wonderful collection of stories by J.S. Striker that I thoroughly enjoyed reading one straight after the other.  I liked the style of writing and the wonderful, interesting storylines that kept me on my toes and wondering what was going to happen next.  If you haven’t read any paranormal before then this is a great collection to help you get the ‘bug’.  As it contains bear shifters, my favourites, this really appealed to me. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

I LOVE reading about the paranormal, most importantly about romance with bear shifters and so this collection by Isadora Montrose is just the perfect bundle of books for me.  Therefore, I bought a copy for myself and wholeheartedly recommend that you get your own copy to enjoy too!  This selection of five stories in the Bachelor Bears of Yakima Ridge include the following titles :-

Isadore has written these superb stories and if you’re new to paranormal stories then this is a fabulous collection to get your interested and not wanting to put the books down as I found them compelling. They are well written with great characters that are 3-dimensional, fun and will do everything for their mates.  be ready to swoon once these bears turn on their charms!

I can’t wait to read more of her stories.  Do as I did and buy yourself this great collection and enjoy!

Fiona’s Mates: A Paranormal Reverse Harem Romance by Shelley Munro

  Can She Wave Goodbye To Them?

After having enough of her abusive husband’s cheating and bad behaviour, Fiona chucks him out and takes a holiday to Churchill Bay.  There she meets the gorgeous Stig [the youngest of five brothers who are all polar bear shifters] trying to start a road haulage company with the town against them all.  But Fiona’s holiday has taken a great turn meeting the gorgeous, hunky brothers who make her heart beat and panties melt!  All five want her and the chemistry between the six of them is almost enough to make all the ice around them melt. But what happens at the end of her holiday?  Will she just wave goodbye to them or will they come to mean more to her than she ever thought possible?  A great story by Shelley Munro.  Those of you who have read any of my reviews before know that I LOVE bear shifters and so this is my idle story.  A fun read with plenty of heat and I look forward to reading more stories by Shelley.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
