Wait, You Did What? by T.A. Moorman

  Truth Or Dare?

T.A. Moorman is a new author to me.   There were times whilst reading the story that I did laugh out loud literally. There was humour in the book although since we’re from different cultures, I’m a Brit and the author is a US citizen that our senses of humour do not match.  I like the premise of the storyline where Justine’s brother is getting married in a two week rush when he meets the woman of his dreams and she and his best friend, Chase, will do all they can to make the wedding perfect for them. Unfortunately the dress has been sent to the entirely wrong place hundreds of miles away and as Justine is terrified of flying she goes on a road trip[ [talk about chauffeur and luxury Hummer]with Chase and they play Truth or Dare as he is determined to make her finally HIS as he’s been in love with her for years. Some things a bit contrived but were fun so who cares?  I did like the characters. Some careful editing needs to take place please. Forbidden Prince by Zoey Oliver, Jess Bentley

  A Must Have Romantic Read

Abi is his best friend’s, Spencer, sister and she used to be so annoying but now she is WOW. Henry hasn’t seen her in seven years and she has changed out of all recognition Such a stunning and feisty beauty that Henry can’t take his eyes off of her.  She is perfect for him but she is untouched and must remain so for her husband to be which is not him!!  No way is anyone going to have Abi – she is HIS!!  Poor Abi has to stay away from Henry as he is nothing more than a playboy, womanising Prince – at least , that is what she tells herself. But Abi has loved Henry for years and she wishes that she didn’t have to marry some stranger so that her family does not face being ruined.  But henry and Abi can’t keep away from one another and although Henry did not envisage getting married anytime soon, he can’t bear the thought of Abi belonging to anyone but him.  Will Abi have to marry that vile Finley or some other creep?  Will henry be able to cope knowing that Abi is not his?  Will the passion and love between them last or is it doomed to failure?? These two authors Zoey Oliver and Jess Bentley are absolutely brilliant working together to create for us amazing stories that I just couldn’t put down until I had competed the whole book.  The main characters Henry and Abi have such a vibe between them that really keeps the attraction between them hot and steamy. The dialogue is fun and witty and the twists and turns within the tale kept me from putting the book down.  I have really enjoyed all the stories that Jess and Zoey have composed for us and I am excited and looking forward to their next offering.

Last Time We Kissed by Nicole Snow

  An Everlasting Love

Amy Kay has an older brother, Jace, who has some serious mental health issues that the family all skirt around rather than try to make him/things better which does not help him in the long run. His best friend was Trent whom Amy Kay adored and the feeling was mutual once he started noticing how beautiful she was becoming. Prior to that it had all been teasing and fun. But when Trent realised his feelings for Amy Kay were not those of a ‘brother’ he kissed her!   His nickname for her was ‘Presh’ [short for precious] and they became closer so much so that they ended up with her giving him her v-card. But the next day he was gone? She didn’t know the reason why but her family was in trouble and Trent had to move his family away too.  One of the many reasons that I LOVE this story is that they write each other notes that gives the reader a much deeper understanding of their characters and how they are feelings.  Six years later, Trent has been working hard and done well for himself.  Amy Kay has started her own Bed & Breakfast business but has been called back home to help her father into retirement and for Jace to take over the family law firm.  As she enters a lift, who does she meet but Trent.  They both are angry with each other as they both don’t know the full reasons as to what happened all those years ago. But one that that hasn’t changed is their love for each other. This is Nicole’s Snow’s best story yet as far as I’m concerned.  It encompasses two fabulous protagonists with Trent and Presh, a terrific storyline that is most definitely unique and full of passion, humour, love, intrigue and secrets.  For them to have a real future together there are so many obstacles to get over but where true love exists, they have to have the chance for their own HEA.  If this seems to be the sort of book you’d like to read with believable characters that are likeable and a story that captures your imagination at page one and consistently keeps you drawn to the pages filled with fun, secrets and red hot passion, then grab yourself a copy and enjoy!  I’m really looking forward to Nicole’s next romantic adventure for us to enjoy. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Savage is an all consuming, red hot romantic story by Kira Blakely that will keep you glued to the book from first to last page.  Olivia, our heroine in the story, is guardian to her late brother and his wife’s little girl called Penny. Beck was his best friend but he’d promised to not try it on with Olivia to her brother. They’ve both been in love with each other for years but done nothing about it so they’re both frustrated and wishing things could only be different.  Beck doesn’t have the best of reputations but when Olivia’s uncle and aunt try to gain custody of Penny she calls on beck for help. And Beck has the perfect solution so that Olivia can keep Penny and he will clean up his reputation as well AND, if he’s lucky enough, try to persuade Olivia to give him a chance at love.  Kira has created a great plot with such endearing and sexy characters.  Penny will make you love her as well as beck and you’ll feel involved in their story.  Expect lots of sizzling passion, humour, and wonderful writing that keeps you invested in the story.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
