Scorpio (Zodiac Killers Book 12) by W.L. Knightly

A Nail Biting Episode That Is  A Must Have Read!

Oh heavens!!!  This series has driven me quietly mad over the year.  I NEVER, EVER read or even watch series lol  I hate cliffhangers but I only read these as they are so well written.  I am just about desperate to find out who Raven is now?? I have my suspicion and if it is then OM Gosh!I love puzzles and this has been one fabulous puzzle conjured up for us by the best selling authors, Ali Parker and Lexy Timms, writing as W.L. Knightly.  Over the months we have been taken through different scenarios and characters that have been so well developed and so many secrets and have been kept engrossed in the stories. I do not think you could read this book as a standalone as you really do need the information from the others to understand fully what is going on and in trying to solve the problem for yourself.  Brilliantly composed that I am still on the edge of my seat after all these months and I’m more excited to find out all who were in on the murders than I was at the beginning.  The twists and turns are perfectly balanced. I confess that once we have the final book that I will be re-reading them all one after the other to enjoy them again.  Anxiously waiting to see if I’ve reached the correct conclusion about raven’s identity in the next book!!!  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.  Most definitely recommended!!

Their Dirty Dolls: A MFM Romance Collection by J.L. Beck

  Feeling HOT!  A Fabulous Read!

Here is the latest collection of red hot passionate alpha males and their women by the top USA best selling author, J.L. Beck.  They will have you reaching for your fans/ac to set to MAX COOL and a long cool drink.  The stories included are :-

Their Spoiled Princess: She’s spoiled rotten, but not by us. She wants to be treated like a princess, then she’ll have to earn it.

Their Spoiled Virgin: Two alphas, and a virgin that needs to be claimed. The heroine in this story just got sandwiched between two hotties. This was my personal favourite as Bailey and her bosses Logan and Tyler were such fun to read.  passion overload 😉

Their Best Friends Little Sister: Forbidden fruit at its finest. They want their best friends little sister so badly, they’re willing to cross any and all lines to have her.

Dirty As Sin: Sinfully dirty, and over the top, you’ll be fanning yourself till the very end.

All four stories are fabulous and expect to swoon over these hot heroes and their feisty women.  Well written and it was so easy to love them.  Great characters that were believable and fun. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Baseball Mine: An Older Man Younger Woman Romance (A Man Who Knows What He Wants Book 80) by Flora Ferrari

Swoon Time With STEAM Heat!! Get Your Copy Now!

Oh MY! This is such a sweet romance – don’t get me wrong, this is a story by Flora Ferrari so we also have STEAM HEAT!!! Finn is Brynn’s older brother and she used to hang round with him and his best friend Bryce as much as they would let her whilst growing up even though they were nine years older than her. Brice is now a very successful baseball player which both he and Finn dreamed of being. Brynn has crushed on Bryce since she first ‘noticed’ boys so she has it bad for him. When she gets an opportunity to get some tickets to a game where he’ll be paying she can’t resist – even if it means having to go on a date with a creep from her office. But at the ballgame she notices him straight away and it seems that he noticed her too. When the ball flies towards her he seems to set his eyes on her even though he’s after the ball and shoves the jerk behind her from hurting her. And that, as they say, is the beginning of their HEA! Will Finn approve when he finds out that she’s got tickets from Brice to come to another game in New York? When Bryce sneaks out of his hotel in New York to be with her it is so romantic and sweet where he takes her. He is her first kiss and her first everything. Not everything is going to go smoothly but what a journey! Bryce is going to stay in your memory as one of Flora’s most romantic of romantic heroes so be prepared to swoon. Bridges and a candlelit boathouse are going to feature in your dreams from now on. I also loved the epilogues as they are so much fun to see how the future pans out for them. I love Flora’s stories but this must be the sweetest yet and I loved every second of it [pizza restaurant and Bryce marching in is probably one of the most satisfying scenes 😉 ]. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Most Definitely Recommended

Tame Me: A Filthy Billionaire Romance by Cassandra Bloom and J.L. Beck

  A Fabulous Must Have Read!!!

Cassandra Bloom and J.L. Beck have composed a fabulous set of three stories here that are interconnected with each other.  We start with Maddy, self made billionaire and the youngest female in this category who is driven and has everything a person could want  – except someone to share it with.  She is called to see her mum who is dying and she hands her a wooden box with a name in it. The name of her father, Rick [we also get his story with Sophie] and that he lives in Nowhere, Arizona.  Maddy follows her mum’s dying wish to find her father and she keeps meeting Devon,  the man they call “Brave” the warrior,  whom she is really drawn towards. There is undoubtedly great chemistry between them but he also has secrets that could hurt her.  Then we meet Taylor who is like Maddy in so many ways except there is a cruel and selfish streak in him at times.  He also has everything that money can buy but he also wants Maddy but she is not interested in him at all which just makes him want her more. But he has an accident and his helped by Kami whom he went to school with – but he never noticed her!  What Maddy doesn’t realise is that he is Dev’s twin!  Will Maddy and Dev get their HEA as she is getting very suspicious as he keeps disappearing?  These three stories are so well written with fabulous characters [I even ended up liking Taylor] that I was drawn into their stories at the very beginning and was sitting on the edge of my seat till I’d finished reading their HEAs.  The dialogue was interesting and fun and so good that there was more than one story in the one book [just like real life!]  Cassandra Bloom and J.L. Beck are a terrific writing team and I look forward to reading many more of their stories. This book illustrates perfectly why they are top best selling authors! I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most Definitely Recommended!!!

The Billionaire Affair: (A Billionaire Bad Boy Rom Com) by Ali Parker

FABULOUS! – a Must Have Read!

Jeremiah is the son of a repulsive billionaire and he meets Stephanie, Steph, at a nightclub that her friend ‘forces’ her to attend. He’s with his ‘tribe’ of friends [since school days]. She’s not his usual type but there is something about her that is like a magnet drawing him to her. Just when he thinks he’s going to get lucky she disappears much to his dismay and he watches her leaving in a taxi. But next day they meet again – with his vile father there who insults her repeatedly [well he does that throughout the book] when she goes for an interview for a job as Jeremiah’s secretary. His friend, Nick, is great and Steph would be happy to work for him but she is not impressed with Jeremiah at all. His last secretary, Jannie, is a deeply disturbed and his father sacked her [the only good thing he did in the story]. Despite his father he gives her the job [although she is more than qualified] and they have sparks sizzling between them the whole time. Things develop quickly and soon the embers in the fire are ignited and a few people are mad about it. This book is, in my opinion, Ali Parker’s best yet. I love her books normally but this went one step beyond. I loved his new ‘toy’ car but it made me gasp with what happened to it. I loved how his friends rallied round Steph and the scene were Jeremiah goes to see his father after being warned by Nick, should go down as one of the funniest scenes in the book – priceless! I had such a good laugh re-reading it as it was so good. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. To say that I just recommend this book is the understatement of the year. It is terrific with fabulous writing, a storyline that had me on the edge of my seat and so much chemistry between the two of them that you need a fa/ac to keep you cool. I would love to read Nick and the other’s HEA’s in the future as they are just too good not to do more with them.
DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED

Saving Emma by R.R. Banks

  Magnificent – Film Rights??

When is R.R. Banks going to have his books submitted to be turned into films??  This is yet another that I would go to see!  This is so much more than any mere romance.  We have an addict recovering from his injuries that stopped his football career and changed his life forever more.  Brice turned his life around and invested wisely and turned himself intro a very successful businessman.  When he hears that his best friend’s dad has died, who helped him as a young boy/man to  get into professional football, he knows that he must support his friend and show his respect to the man who was so important to him.  Whilst there he also sees Emma, his best friend’s younger sister who has now blossomed in every way his x-rated mind could possibly imagine but she looks at him with almost hate in her eyes which confounds him.|Emma had crushed on Brice from afar whilst young [way too young for him at the time] but now the age difference is meaningless and he’s even more gorgeous than ever. But he never came back and she feels so betrayed.  meanwhile she has lost her job and is in dire straights and when Brice hears about it [all the while her using her nickname for him which is ‘a@@hole’!  He plays hero to her when her abusive ex attacks her and she tends to Brice’s wounds at home. This is when the story really heats up. This is a Book by R.R. Banks  so when I say heat – I mean HEAT as in scalding!  There is certainly plenty of passion between them but she immediately regrets it. But Brice wants more. He’s never felt this way about any woman before but she won’t give him a chance so he’s obviously going to have to be sneaky to get a second chance with her…and he knows exactly what he’s going to do!  Brice is no fool  but he’s  a man on a mission and that’s to see if there is any chance of something being very real between him and Emma. He’s got the money to make things happen so he can solve her employment issue and help his business acumen simultaneously.  But Emma has a real ‘story’ that her previous editor wouldn’t touch. But her fabulous new editor is a woman of vision and she thinks Emma is worth the risk so encourages her. But it’s not long before threats are received.  With kidnapping, new passions, real love, mystery, more murders and a creepy break in.  Who is behind these murders?  Is Emma too close to the truth? Can Brice win her love and keep her safe??  If there is one book that you buy this year – this must be it!!!!!  Magnificent.  This book illustrates perfectly why R.R. Banks is one of the USA’s best selling authors.  I received a reader’s copy of the book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.  Magnificent – Definitely Recommended

Blue Collar Billionaire by Flora Ferrari

When you’ve got a problem in your house – send for Beau. He’s a stud muffin and gorgeous and he can fix anything in your home [from fixing a pipe to making anything you need from repairing a settee to putting up shelves.  He was shell shocked when his best friend’s ‘little girl’ came to him for advice about going into architecture school as he was a billionaire in the construction industry.  But when she gets into college and has a problem with her rented flat her dad calls him for help and Beau is more than ready to be her hero.  Ariella, meanwhile, has lusted and loved Beau for years but never thought he would even look at her in a romantic way. He wants him to be her first and last and when they spend time together it’s obvious that they are both ‘feeling the instalove’!  And what a romantic – taking her to swim in an amazing swimming pool and then to probably the most glorious hotel suite in the world where he lavishes her with everything she could possibly want – including him.  This older man /younger woman romance is full of passionate emotions and some angst when her dad finds out what they’ve been up to.  I must confess that even I was a bit surprised when she opened the door to see him in his tux and the surprise he had for her.  This latest story by Flora Ferrari is everything that I’ve come to expect from one of her fast paced, instalove romances.  Great characters and I was interested in the architectural quotes.  A lovely easy read and I just wish we all knew a ‘handy man’ like Beau. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended

One Hot Doctor by Ashlee Price

   She Needs Him!

Ashlee Price has delivered us another must have read when we meet Ava and Scott. They were the best of friends [he the only son of billionaires] and they both want to go into medicine. So she becomes a doctor and he a surgeon.  They spend one night together without revealing their true feelings for each other. But they get on with their lives and don’t see each other for 7 years – unless you count when she sees him being interviewed on tv.  But now he’s back and he knows that he needs her and wants to help her. She’s in an abusive relationship with a creep of a boyfriend that Scott wants to hurt badly and her mother tried to marry her off to pay off her own debts!!  But how does Ava feel for Scott now? Will she see him for the man that she loves who loves her so much and what about the secret?  Ashlee caught my attention at page one and kept it right to the very end.  I was so pleased that Scott was there for Ava – just wish he’d come back sooner. She didn’t deserve the awful situation that she was in and getting this from two people, one being her own mother,- she didn’t stand a chance.  A real page turner that you won’t want to put down and it was so good that I know that I will be re-reading this in the future.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Giving Her A Baby: A Second Chance Romance by J.L. Beck

  Will She Recognise Him?

Silas and Winter’s past is not happy and due to many misunderstandings.  He has not stopped thinking of her throughout the years and she hasn’t really lived her life to the full because of their past.  When she decides to ‘move on’ and become a mum via an ad, Silas sees the ad as he’s already planning how to get back into her life and knows that no one but him is going to be her baby daddy!  But the tale of lies that are used don’t always make things right and could lead to more  problems. When she walks in on him with appearing to be kissing a woman she leaves, never wanting to see him again.  Can Silas fix this?  I know at that point i the book I was certainly upset when it happened as things seemed to be improving so much for them. J.L. Beck is a terrific author and this book perfectly illustrates why she is one of the US’s top best selling authors.  Beautifully written with great passion and fantastic detail in these wonderfully developed characters.  I really enjoyed this storyline and look forward to reading many more of her books!
