Fake It: A Fake Marriage Baby Romance by Mia Ford

   The Feelings Are So Real

Thomas is a playboy and enjoys life.  Nothing really too serious.  He had been dating a supposed celebrity but they’ve finished although the paparazzi  don’t seem to care and still trail after him.  Thomas was born on what’s called the ‘right’ side of the tracks whilst Sophia, whom he met when he went into the place where she was a bartender, is very much from the ‘wrong’ side.  But there is a special chemistry and attraction between them that they can’t ignore.  As neither want a real relationship they have a ‘friends with benefits’  which they are both enjoying as they both like having sex in the open. His father, however, has had enough of Thomas’s playboy ways and has basically told him to grow up, get married and have an heir otherwise the ‘gravy train’ will cease!  This will also mean that his little sister will be without a penny too which he cannot allow as he loves her too much.  So he comes to Sophie, who is already in love with him, if she will pretend to be in love with him and have a child with him.  Seems oh so easy doesn’t it? But this is one of Mia Ford’s stories so you should know that nothing is ever straight forward with her!  Firstly, Thomas’s next door neighbour, Julia, wants Thomas and his mother is willing to help her get him.  Secondly , he has to convince his father that it is real between him and Sophia and for them to have a baby.  just in case, he doesn’t become a father within a year he actually gets himself a job to try to support his sister. But does Thomas have any feelings for Sophia, other than enjoying sex with her?  We know she loves him?  Can she carry on if he doesn’t love her? What will happen at the end of the twelve months after she, hopefully, has given birth to his child?  I wasn’t that thrilled with Thomas at the beginning but actually he grew on me when he started taking responsibility for himself and those he cared for. All these different challenges that Mia set for him merely helped making him the man that he should have been all along.  She also creates some awful characters – Julia and his mother being prime examples of this and just bring the story more to life and 3-dimensional.  if you’re looking for a fun and quick read with plenty of heat, fun, twists and a hero and heroine that you’ll root for then this is the book for you and I encourage you to get a copy for yourself and enjoy like I did. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

Fake it Baby: A Best Friend’s Brother Romance by Tia Siren

  All For Iris

Tracy’s parents are both dead. She won’t name the father of her adorable daughter, Iris, but has made her best friend forever, Avery, Godmother to her.  Then Avery gets one of the worst phone calls she could imagine – Tracy is dead in a car accident but iris is alive. Tracy’s brother, Jake, is an arrogant, dismissive, jerk who took Avery’s virginity then walked away never to be heard of again. Till now.  He didn’t know about his niece and certainly doesn’t know how to raise a child. He’s been battling his way up Silicon Valley with fantastic computer programmes so he is out of his comfort zone, but he does want iris.  However, as Tracy didn’t write a will Social services barge in and find neither to be a good fit for having a child.  So the only solution Jake can think of is for them to marry each other and then get iris.  Along the way he definitely needed to grow up, stop being so selfish and try to get Avery to agree and  forgive him for being such a total idiot towards her.  Will Avery forgive him?   Is there any other reason that he wants her to marry him?  Does he have any real feelings for Avery? But will the ‘evil’ social worker buy into their marriage? Will their ‘fake’ marriage turn into something real?? Tia Siren is in my top ten favourite authors as she is just so good at writing an interesting and entertaining storyline with a great heroine and a hero that needs to show how loveable he can be, with the humour and banter between them and the red hot scenes that she creates for us to enjoy whilst having our fans set to max cool!  To find out you’re going to have to do what I did and get a copy of this and enjoy the journey!!  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.  However, as I enjoyed the book and to sup[port the author I have purchased my own copy of it so I can also read all the bonus stories.

The Proposal by R.R. Banks

Second Chances – & Beautiful Ending!

Cherry and Gabriel were childhood friends, with Gabriel being her older brother, Brent’s, best friend.  When Cherry’s dad died, Brent said he would take care of their mum and her and for her not to worry but this was not to be following a tragic accident. So Gabriel left and he never saw Cherry for years but he’s back now and they are astonished when they meet again.  Cherry’s mum is seriously ill and she is doing all she can to make sufficient money to pay for her medical bills.  meanwhile, Gabriel’s father gives him an ultimatum – have a child to show responsibility or you won’t become the CEO and owner of the company after his father!  Gabriel is obviously furious and is furious with his father but what he doesn’t realise is that his P.A. who keeps him on track perfectly has given her job to Cherry.  he has always liked Cherry especially when she started to develop into a stunning young woman and they do have a history but she is even more beautiful now and he really does want to get to know her better anyway.  But could she help him with his father’s latest proclamation??  He’s sexually attracted to her and she seems to be equally into him as the air practically crackles with electricity humming between them.  But what happens when real and lasting emotions become involved??  I loved the beginning of the story and I don’t know how Cherry was so polite to that wedding planner and as for that jerk, Ashley, she had a very lucky escape form him.  I loved the way R.R. banks gave us layers of the story and as I got into the story more  and more layers were revealed making this the perfect feel good factor story. So well written with a unique storyline that was such fun to read and as he revealed more and more parts of the layers to the story it became ‘alive’ to me and the characters were not just made up of letters on a page but were almost 3- dimensional and animated.  I admit my expectations of this story were very high after reading R.R. Banks last novel , Accidentally Married, but he has surpassed my expectations and I look forward with anticipation for his next story for us to enjoy! I received a reader’s copy of this story and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

I have purchased my own copy of the story as I know that I will be wanting to re-read this story in the future as it is so good plus the bonus materials are extremely good [I have that on good recommendations from a friend] and so will be enjoying reading them beginning this evening.

Lucky Bunny: An Easter Billionaire Fake Fiance Romance by Eva Luxe, Sizzling Hot Reads

A Great Chit Lit Short Story!

Tessa is a passionate young, feisty young woman who cares deeply and owns a school for children with Special Educational Needs which is her life.  one day the fire alarm rings and she hurries to the room where the fire has broken out. She runs outside and helps the children escape through the window but it is up to the firefighters to save her best friend who is trapped in the classroom.  The fire is classed as arson by her insurance company so she has no money to rebuild her school and she is devastated.  Whatever can she do to get sufficient money quick enough to rebuild??  She hears about the Bunny Ranch where women sell their bodies for money. This aspect of the story I did find extremely hard to reconcile with her character but it fits the story so I can ignore my musings about this. She is a virgin so should get a high price.  When she goes there she is spotted by Ben who is a playboy and whose father won’t let him gain his inheritance until he proves that he is trustworthy and in a stable relationship.  He knows that Tessa is just going to be perfect!  They strike a deal where he will pay her $5 million if she agrees to be his fake wife but they are to have a very REAL honeymoon!  I like Eva Luxe’s style of writing. This is one of her shorter stories but it is just as well written.  Tessa is a fabulous character – such a selfless young woman who cares more for others than taking care of herself.  Ben is a bit of a jerk at the beginning of the story but by the end I thought he was just perfect for Tessa as he had matured so much.  The lust then passion then love that comes between them is just right and fits beautifully within the plot. It is nicely paced and with an ending that left me smiling and happy.  I urge you to get your own copy and enjoy it as much as I did. Bride Wanted: A Virgin and Billionaire Fake Fiancé Romance by Eva Luxe, Juliana Conners

She Needed Him To Rescue Her

This is another book in the Wanted Series by Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners.  It is a standalone story with two lovers who were high school sweethearts but broken up by lies.  Wendy and her dad are having hard times since his accident and she is desperate when she meets Eliza.  She is a ‘matchmaker’ of sorts for wealthy clients and says that she knows that she can help Wendy and very soon.  Meanwhile, Sam who is her high school sweetheart is now very wealthy following an accident and wise investments but he needs a wife to finalise a contract and he goes to Eliza for assistance.  yes, you’ve guessed it!  Sam and Wendy are paired.  Now I’m not going to give away any spoilers as I don’t write anywhere near as well as Eva and Juliana so I won’t even try.  What you can expect is a sweet love story with secrets, danger, a crazed ex, fraud, a very religious partner and a HEA.  Eva and Juliana are superb authors who really know how to draw you into their storyline, they give you characters such as Sam and Wendy that you like and want to get their HEA, they also give you some very interesting twists and turns that will keep you on the edges of your seats as well as reaching for the fan to set to MAX COOL during the red hot love scenes. Sam will make you swoon as he is just so gorgeous both inside and out and Wendy deserves to have happiness. I was so pleased the way things turned out for her dad and with what happened to Sam’s original partner. I encourage you without reservation to grab yourself a copy of this book and I hope you enjoy the story as much as I have.  This is a story that I will be re-reading as it’s so good.  Remember also that there are some extra bonus stories too that are there for you to enjoy too!  I’ll be buying a copy of this on pay day! I received a free readers copy of this book and leave my honest opinion of it here.

Temporary Wife: A Fake Marriage Romance by Aria Ford

  Let’s Make It Real!

Riley has wanted Brooklyn since the first moment that he saw her but they got off on the wrong foot and nothing has happened between them. Brooklyn divorced her husband as he was verbally and mentally abusive and now is a single mum with her daughter, Parker, whom she is bringing up alone. Their house needs fixing, especially the roof, so she reluctantly asks Riley, the local handyman, if he will give her a quote to repair it. He still thinks that she is the sexiest woman alive and ever will be and he agrees to repair it if she will come to an agreement with him. Now Brooklyn also avoids Riley because she is very attracted to him so when he explains that he wants to start his building firm properly but he needs a loan for that and the only way he can get a loan is if he is married, she agrees to become his wife in name only and as long as he keeps quiet about it. They’re both happy with the agreement especially as he’s fixing her home for nothing. She invites him to Christmas Day lunch with her and Parker and it seems like his dream of a family could possibly become a reality if he can get Brooklyn on board. The passion between them cannot be denied and they spend one very steamy and hot, sensual night together but Brooklyn still wants to keep their marriage as in name only as she’s scared. But Riley has had a taste of ‘heaven’ now and wants more. Can he persuade Brooklyn to give him a chance to prove that he is a good guy and loves and will protect her? Will Brooklyn risk her heart and entrust him to keep it safe? Beautifully written by Aria Ford. Whilst the chemistry between them is undeniable it takes trust and Aria weaves her story so that I was completely engrossed and didn’t put it down until I had finished it. A real MUST HAVE read that will keep you entertained and unwilling to put it down till you’ve reached the end. I look forward to Aria’s next story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
