Panic and Passion: A Romantic Suspense Romance (Pledged To Protect Book 1) by Vella Day

  One Intense Romantic Story

Susan is scared for her life and so is the FBI so they assign her one of the agents, Jake, to act as her bodyguard. However, when she discovers that he is connected to the family that she has been prosecuting she finds it difficult to trust him.  But that doesn’t stop him from doing everything he can to keep her safe.  This is a fabulous story by Vella Day that I strongly urge you to read for yourselves. It is a romantic suspense story with plenty of twists and turns that I didn’t expect and it was so well written that I was fully focused on the storyline from beginning to end.  This is the first book in the series and I look forward to reading the rest as this was so enjoyable with fantastic characters that were believable, interesting and red hot together [fans/air con at the ready please as this is one HOT couple].  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Bought [Owned Series Book 1] by Derek Masters

  Compelling Start To The Owned Series

Hannah has had a difficult past and whilst out with her father, she is captured and put up for auction.  reed is a self confessed sadist. he has seen so much evil that he says it has made him evil. he cares only for his own pleasure. But then he sees Hannah and he wants her. And whatever Reed wants, he gets no matter what the price.  This is Derek Masters at his best in this dark romance.  As she is kidnapped and auctioned off to save her father’s life she has no reason to suppose that the man who buys her will be so important to her and her heart.  A fabulous, fast paced must have read that will keep you riveted to the book. This is the first in the Owned Series and has certainly convinced me to read the rest of the series!  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wild: A Bad Boy Billionaire Romance by Lexi Whitlow

 Outstanding Story!!!!!!

Fox is a multi billionaire who is hiding ‘off-grid’ in the mountains after he discovered that his online currency was being misused and he is trying to sort out what was happening and who was behind it all whilst he avoids the FBI, Russian mobsters and other groups that he does not want any dealings with.  However, he knows that he has been discovered when one of the bear traps that he has set to warn him of intruders.  And what an intruder he has caught in his trap – a very curvy, feisty and absolutely gorgeous young woman called Zee [aka Zelda] who is an ambitious journalist who is out to find Fox, and she is also bleeding badly so he carries her to his secret cabin to treat her injuries.  But his appearance is not what she was expecting to say the least.  Her discovery of him means he must speed up his investigations to prove his innocence.  The attraction between the two of them cannot be denied and even though they are sharing a bed they resist temptation until they can’t keep their hands off each other.  The steamy scenes are written with passion and I did worry that my kindle might overheat! So please take any necessary checks 😉  This story is bang on up to date with the technology being used today and I could easily see this as a headline in real life as it is certainly possible.  The fact of it’s reality makes it so much more powerful as a storyline and Lexi Whitlow should be commended for penning this topical story.  Superbly written and I can just imagine which actor and actress could play the two main roles in a film of the book!  This a real MUST HAVE READ as it’s spot on with the online currency, a billionaire living off grid to ‘hide’ whilst he uncovers the fraudulent goings on and proves himself innocent all whilst not letting the FBI, Russian mobsters and other nefarious characters are out to get him.  Zee as the love interest was just perfect and the right choice for a heroine to Fox’s hero and love interest. 007 could learn some moves off him for the bedroom scenes 😉 As you may have concluded, I LOVE this story and this is certainly the best story that Lexi has written [I’ve read all her stories that are available online to the UK market] and I enjoyed all her other books too.  This is a book that I will be re-reading in the future as it is magnificent!
