A Great New Series!
I ‘discovered’ Donna McDonald’s books about five years ago with the book The Daemon of Synar (Forced To Serve Book 1). That story completely hooked me and I subsequently read the whole series before going onto The Art Of Love Series. I love her relaxed style of writing that is peppered with humour and plenty of passion. This book All Fired Up is penned with that same style that I appreciate so much. In this new series of the paranormal we meet Elenora the reluctant Dragoness who is wanting to retire but there are issues that are prohibiting her form doing so. Damien ,her ‘boyfriend’, takes her on holiday and she is trying to get used to her new powers and he’s wanting to claim her as his dragon mate but to do this they must go before The Dragon Council for it’s approval. Damien is always there for Elenora – even there for her first shift into a dragon and they are crazy in love with each other. I was captivated by their story and laughed at the antics that happened to them and that they perpetrated. When reading this book you can expect wonderfully 3-dimensional characters that pull at your heart. This was a fantastic quick read with plenty of humour, romance, twists and the ‘baddies’ never, ever win! Put quite simply, this is a splendid story that I encourage you to get for yourself.
