London is home from college and is trying to save some money over the summer holidays so she goes home to her mum and dad. Whilst she’s there they have a party and it is there that she meets James. He’s an older mountain man , probably twice her age of 22 years old,and he is extremely attracted to her instantly and the feeling is mutual but she’s got an art internship to go to in NY after the summer.  But then James tells his four best friends and partners about her and the four of them want to meet her also. So James with Cole, Henry, Ryan and Wade all meet her and they make it very plain that they want to have fun and with her. All FIVE of them!!  But how can London choose between these five handsome hunks??  Or does she have to choose?? Will she leave her five men and go to MY or will they be able to persuade her to remain with them forever?? To find out you’re going to have to get your own copy! This is the latest story by B.B. Hamel and if this is the first of her books that you’ve read then be prepared for great characters that are full of life and very passionate and sensual and be warned that things are about to get HOT!.  She weaves her story around these six individuals who are so much more when they are together in this steamy and fun storyline.  I was so engrossed in the story that I read this into the wee small hours of the morning so now need to catch up on some sleep – but it was well worth the loss of sleep.  This is a great read and one that I will be re-reading in the future. I have the bonus story to read this weekend! I really encourage you to get this book as it is one of her best and very entertaining. I received an advanced reader’s copy of this book and leave my honest opinion of it here.

Bear Club by Miranda Bailey

  Bear Shifters At Your Service

I read this book last year and enjoyed it very much.  Trudi has struggled with her dirt poor background is on her way to a position to work for a senator but her GPS gets her journey all wrong and she ends up in the middle of nowhere with only a biker bar , Ursa Majors, the local motorcycle club, nearby for assistance when her car breaks down.  Trudi is very dubious about going inside but she literally has no choice so in she goes and that is where she meets Travis and Quinn. Oh my goodness, it’s surprising that she didn’t just melt into their arms on first sight as they’re gorgeous examples of alpha manhood – a far cry from the ‘prissy’ senator. In fact, they are not like she expected at all – but are so much more and very much like she really wants.  This is a fast paced, sexy tale of a woman who starts out on a certain path realises that she has made a mistake before it can cause her any harm.  Quinn and Travis are in lust with Trudi as soon as they see her and the more time spent with her the more they want her to stay with them and never leave.  To find out how Trudi feels you’re going to have to get this book [there is a part 2 which I would have at the ready to read straight after]. Will Trudi reciprocate their feelings? Will the senator’s pull of status prevail or will these two sexy lovers capture her heart and convince her to stay?? Miranda Bailey is a favourite of mine as I love her shifter stories and she really ‘knows’ how to weave a story with them as the main event in a book. Savage Crimes: A Mafia Secret Baby Romance by Lana Cameo

  Repaying His father’s Debt To The Mafia

This story surrounds Matt and Maya. He has saved up and is working hard to go to college and make his dreams come true but his father is not very sensible and owes money to a mob boss.  Matt either joins the gang and does jobs for them or his mum will suffer.  He’s a good son and so works for them. One deal goes wrong and he is beaten up in an alley and left for dead. Maya , who is nursing his ill father and living with an aunt,who is training to be a nurse is driving by when she sees a body in the alley and she goes to help. He won’t see an EMT so she takes him home and helps him heal. There was instant love between these two people who are both in situations through no fault of their own.  As much as he wants her and a relationship with her, Matt knows that it can never be as if the boss finds out he will use Maya as leverage against him. He watches Maya’s home and sees the goons who beat him up watching her. As soon as they leave he goes in to warn her but then their passions for one another take over and he takes her v-card. He leaves to never see her again to keep her safe. She pots him the next week but is sickened and hurt by what she sees him doing, so when she finds out that he left a part of him with her she leaves and disappears.  This is the first book that I’ve read by Lana Cameo but it certainly won’t be the last as it was so well written and I loved Matt and Maya. I’m pleased to say that it wasn’t anywhere near as dark a story as I expected when the word mafia was used.  Will they get their HEA?  How does Maya manage to carry on? What had Matt left for her?  Will they meet again? River Shifters 4 Book Box Set by Lisa Daniels

  Fantastic Paranormal Collection

Lisa Daniels is famous for her wonderful shifter stories of bears, wolves and dragons.  My personal favourites are the bears and this is what we have with this fantastic collection of four books with over 30, 000 words and is aimed at an audience of 18+ only.  Lisa conjures up terrific stories with characters that you love by the end of the story.  It includes all of the following titles :-

Book 1 – Rescued by Ryland
Book 2 – Rescued by Emery
Book 3 – Rescued by Silas
Book 4– Rescued by Alaric

My favourite book of the collection is Rescuded by Ryland, book 1 and here is the review that I left for it :-

I recommend without hesitation that you get this collection if you haven’t read any of Lisa’s books before as I believe that they will help you become a fan of her writings like I am.  This is certainly a great collection that kept me entertained for hours and I enjoyed re-reading Ryland for this review.
