For the King by Jenika Snow

A Sweet & Passionate Love Affair

This is a fantastic short, fast paced read by the top selling USA author, Jenika Snow that is a must have read.  I loved ‘meeting’ the King, Victor, who was a strong alpha male who did all th\at he could, to the best of his ability, for his country. But he was lonely and wanted a wife. he wanted A Queen and the woman that he’d been watching incognito for some time was Willow, a florist.  he was entranced by her beauty and kindness and fancied the panties off her.  When they finally do meet, she is very attracted to him too and is eager to marry him as well as being totally bemused that he chose her of all the women in the world. This is a passionate love story that will make you smile but it also has plenty of heat and chemistry between them that is off the charts. I loved this story and look forward to reading Jenika’s next romantic adventure.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Desire by Mia Ford

  After Ten Years Of Marriage…

Flora’s family have no expectations of her.  Colin, however, was born on the other side of the tracks and his family know that he will go far. At a frat party that her friend takes her to she is attacked by one of the frat boys but Colin has been watching and crushing on her for some time and he steps in and saves her.  They fall in love and marry – much to both their families dismay!  After ten years of marriage, Flora is still striving to be the very best at work but she and Colin aren’t communicating. their marriage is tale. Can they work things out?  He wants a baby but she seems to be only focussed on work?  Mia Ford is one of those authors that I know her book will be well written and researched and this book certainly is all that.  I like that it concentrates on real life issues and that it’s not all about the instant love, but what happens ten years down the line which is certainly a new slant on my romance reading.  The issue of communication is always the most important in any relationship and I think Mia has really illustrated that in this wonderful romance.  I look forward to Mia’s next story!  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Claiming Her by R.R. Banks

  WARNING: Red Hot Lovers

WARNING: This is a R.R. Bank’s story here, therefore, you need to have your fans/air con ready in working order set to MAX COOL for the steam scenes between Vincent and Olivia

Vincent saw Olivia for the very first time when he was relaxing at the resort, lazily relaxing on a tree, when he spotted the most gorgeous woman in a candy pink swimsuit jumping in the waves and giving her all to the enjoyment.  She’s there with a supposed bf, Charlene, whose supposedly recovering from a broken engagement [he ran off with the pool boy].  When he sees her next, Charlene propositions him and he rejects her in front of everyone in the restaurant – then asks Olivia out!  But Charlene is not someone used to not getting her own way and retribution is put in place.  However, the chemistry between Vincent and Olivia is FANTASTIC!! But after their one night, Olivia is tricked and leaves the resort and doesn’t see him again for over two years.  These two belong together and evil should not expect to keep them apart forever. Love will find it’s place !  However, there are many twists and dreadful dealings and back stabbings that will keep you riveted to your book/Kindle as I was.  Secrets are revealed and heartaches may be mended.  the truth needs to be known but, perhaps, to claim her fully revenge may be in order?  I thought the ending was magnificent and R.R. Banks is the author that did it with such aplomb!  This is a terrific read that you won’t want to miss as R.R. Banks is excelling with every book that he writes and I know that I am looking forward to his next book already.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The Better Bride: A Billionaire Hangover Romance (Accidentally Married Book 4) by Natalie Knight, Daphne Dawn

  Best Comedy Of The Year!

This book is a MUST HAVE READ.  Simply priceless the things that happen – I thought “No way!”  But, oh yes! They did do that.  Two marriages were supposed to happen but when Brendon walks in on his fiancée sleeping with not one but several men.  Mysti, his sister’s best friend forever, walks in and uses her handbag as a weapon [as all us females know it is and that’s why there is so much necessary ‘stuff’ in our handbags].  This , in many ways, is like a Carry On film with an abundance of humour, plenty of red hot steamy sex that will make your toes curl and you’ll need your fans/air con set to max cool as this is HOT.  Daphne Dawn and Natalie Knight are an amazing team of authors that keep writing best seller after best seller for us all to enjoy! I loved this story so very much that I just had to buy my own copy as this is one story I will be wanting to re-read again and again.  Just my type of humour, with great characters, delicious comedic situations, sexy main characters and supporting characters that I love too!  Please keep on writing these fabulous stories for us to read.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Marrying his Brother: A Fake Fiance Romance by Tia Siren

  Marrying The RIGHT Brother

Amber is the ‘other woman’ without realising it. Her boss, William, is a lying jerk and lead Amber on to believe that they were in love when he was, in fact, engaged to be married to someone else.  But William can do no wrong as far as his parents are concerned. he is the heir and businessman who is the good brother. In effect, it is Harry, the ‘spare’ heir who is the good brother. He has enjoyed being a playboy but when he overhears Amber’s predicament that he thinks up a plan for her to pretend to be engaged to him!  As this is a book composed by Tia Siren, you should know that the chemistry between them is going to be off the charts and they are so compatible that a HEA for Harry and Amber seems to be on the cards. But then William has a change of heart. Will Amber remain with Harry for whom she has real feelings or will she go back running to that jerk William [you can tell that I don’t like William much!].  This is a great example of Tia Siren writing at her very best with a storyline that is  just that bit different from others at the moment and amazing characters such as Harry and Amber. I enjoyed this story very much and I look forward to Tia’s next story being released. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Forbidden Prince by Zoey Oliver, Jess Bentley

  A Must Have Romantic Read

Abi is his best friend’s, Spencer, sister and she used to be so annoying but now she is WOW. Henry hasn’t seen her in seven years and she has changed out of all recognition Such a stunning and feisty beauty that Henry can’t take his eyes off of her.  She is perfect for him but she is untouched and must remain so for her husband to be which is not him!!  No way is anyone going to have Abi – she is HIS!!  Poor Abi has to stay away from Henry as he is nothing more than a playboy, womanising Prince – at least , that is what she tells herself. But Abi has loved Henry for years and she wishes that she didn’t have to marry some stranger so that her family does not face being ruined.  But henry and Abi can’t keep away from one another and although Henry did not envisage getting married anytime soon, he can’t bear the thought of Abi belonging to anyone but him.  Will Abi have to marry that vile Finley or some other creep?  Will henry be able to cope knowing that Abi is not his?  Will the passion and love between them last or is it doomed to failure?? These two authors Zoey Oliver and Jess Bentley are absolutely brilliant working together to create for us amazing stories that I just couldn’t put down until I had competed the whole book.  The main characters Henry and Abi have such a vibe between them that really keeps the attraction between them hot and steamy. The dialogue is fun and witty and the twists and turns within the tale kept me from putting the book down.  I have really enjoyed all the stories that Jess and Zoey have composed for us and I am excited and looking forward to their next offering.

The Marriage Mistake: A Billionaire Hangover Romance by Natalie Knight, Daphne Dawn

   A Long Courtship For Sammi

There should be a warning with this book that it is seriously funny!  Sammi is one feisty young lady who is about to be married to someone called Eggbert(!?!) and she’s having her hen party a few days early in Bancock and they are most assuredly sticking to ONE drink only! However, one thing leads to another and… The next day Sammi finds herself in bed with Locke  who is one of her colleagues and has been secretly in love with her for over three years and really doesn’t want her to marry anyone but him.  All her other friends have had similarly embarrassing and awkward moments with other people.  Using their phones they try to piece together what happened the night before but they’re no help.  This story will make you laugh and should serve as a reason why you shouldn’t get rip-roaring drunk as you’re never too sure about what you will or won’t do.  With  plenty of passion to heat you up and twists and turns that could make you dizzy, The Marriage Mistake is one book that will keep you entertained from beginning to end and keep you remembering and smiling for quite some time to come.  I thought this was a very clever story with unexpected twists and the consistent mischievous smile of Locke that drives Sammi wild 😉  Get yourself a copy and enjoy!   I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
