Caleb: A Gritty Bad Boy MC Romance (The Lost Breed MC Book 6) by Ali Parker, Weston Parker

Another Great Book In The Lost Breed Series!

This is the sixth book in The Lost Breed MC Series by Ali Parker and Weston Parker.  I have read and enjoyed each and every one of these stories and look forward to as many of them as they compose for us.  One of the things that I especially love about this series is the way characters that that I’ve met and loved in the various books keep ‘popping up’ in subsequent stories and it is so nice to ‘see’ how they are carrying on in their HEAs.  In this book about Caleb, we learn so much about him – who he really is and not just the outward appearance but what makes him who he is.  He has a heart of gold and does all he can to help those he cares about. One in particular being a single mum, Lauryn, who dances at the club where he provides security.   But with trouble from rival MC gangs and an abusive ex for Lauryn, Caleb is the man who is there for her and always will be if she will trust him.  I must confess that it took time for me to warm to Lauryn as her past decisions were very troubling to me but it certainly took Caleb to help her clear her vision of her past and future for herself and her son. I loved the interactions between the two of them, the chemistry between them that practically sizzles off the pages whenever they are together.  Hoping that this isn’t the last in the series and that Ali and Western will continue this series for us loyal fans, I will finish by saying that I am looking forward to reading book 7, hopefully, in the series.  It was well worth the purchase price and I really enjoyed this latest episode in the Series.

Sabian: (A Gritty Bad Boy MC Romance) (The Lost Breed MC Book 4) by Ali Parker, Weston Parker

  A Compelling Read

This is the fourth book in The Lost Breed Mc Series by Ali Parker and it is just as compelling as the first three.  Angela is Axel’s sister [he was the main ‘hero’ in book 2] and they come from the very wealthy Cooper family based in California- that is why Axel is living in New York far away from his parents as he did not want their lifestyle.  Angela wants a life and career of her own too but her parents don’t want that. However, she persuades them to let her get her degree in journalism then she gets a job at the New York Times and they only let her live there because she says that she is engaged to a man living there! She has visited Axel three years previously and met Sabian part of the same Lost breed MC. He is everything that she wants in a man and she is the woman of his dreams – but Axel isn’t going to be happy with them together.  This is a fast paced story with 3-dimensional characters that I almost feel as if I ‘know’ them. This can be read as a standalone story but if you read this first I am fairly certain that you’ll then want to go read the other three books too.  There is drama, angst, murder, sorrow, determination, devotion, and [plenty of red hot passion between Angela and Sabian], and retribution.  once I started reading this book, I just couldn’t put it down and read it in one go – finishing in the early hours of the morning. But it was worth it as this is a tremendous storyline with plenty of action.  I can’t wait for the next story by Ali Parker as this book illustrates beautifully why she is, quite rightly, a top USA best selling author. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Jax: (A Gritty Bad Boy MC Romance) (The Lost Breed MC Book 3) by Ali Parker , Weston Parker

Whenever You Need Help – Send For Jax

Jax is Book 3 of The Lost Breed MC Series by Ali Parker and Weston Parker and it is absolutely fantastic!!  I have read all three books now and each one is getting even better than the previous story which I really didn’t think was possible but it may be because I now ‘know’ the main characters and see where they are coming from. having said that please realise that each one can be read as  a standalone but for greater depth it is more fulfilling to read them in order.  The story starts with the announcement that seven massacred bodies of seven of their rival MC gang being found chopped up by a machete but really no clues as to who did it or why!   Meanwhile there is a return to New York of Holly whom Jax used to follow round like a lost puppy when they were younger but she didn’t want to be involved in an MC gang so left with another man, Keith, who is the father of her little boy but is a bully and alcoholic who is dangerous. When Axel and Ellie [book 2] go for a meal with their little girl they see her waitressing and they chat as Axel grew up in the neighbourhood and knew her too. He later lets Jax know that she’s back and Jax seems to almost stand taller and f;lex his muscles as he has never been able to forget her[ or even want to].  This time Holly is not going to avoid Jax as her feelings for him were always strong and when he steps in to help protect her and her son [and sister Kim] he can do no wrong as far as she is concerned.  I liked ‘meeting’ jax in the previous two books and so this all fits in nicely with the overall series.  I must admit that my heart was thudding wildly when Jax and the other two go to the mansion and are caught in the trap but Jax was amazing!!  Ali Parker and Weston Parker really know how to spin a yarn. This series wonderful and I loved how the rough and tough men react to small children and how kind they are.  This really is about a family of bikers who have made each other Family and stick together no matter what. Obviously you will need your fan/air con set to Absolutely MAX Cool as when Jax and Holly get together it is pure HEAT!  I also loved how Kim’s neighbour, a little old lady, threatened to report him to the police if he hurt Kim, Holly and her son! Can’t wait for the next episode as this is a must have read that I didn’t put down till I’d finished reading it.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Baby and the Biker: The Ghost Riders MC by Savannah Rylan

  Unexpected Love

Reagan is nearly 30 years old and has no boyfriend/husband nor child and she feels her inner clock is ticking.  Whilst on a night out with friends she spots  someone at the other end of the bar who looks like her ex boyfriend who dumped her upon graduating.  When she approaches him he says that his name is not Landon but is Maddox. Eventually she believes him but as he is so strong, large, tall and muscular and handsome she stays talking to Maddox and eventually they go home together and spend a night of unexpected passion. As they ‘fit’ so well together they decide to keep seeing each other to help scratch any ‘itch’ they get but with no feelings involved. But Maddox has a secret. A big secret that could cause extreme trouble between them. As they get to know each other better they realise how well they actually get on together with a shared sense of humour and mutual feelings about life. PLUS, the chemistry between them is off the charts [have your fans ready to switch on and set to max cool here as you’re going to need it] But then Reagan has important and unexpected news for Maddox. How is he going to react?  Are they going to stand a chance together or are his secrets going to impact on them and drive them apart?  I really enjoyed this story by Savannah Rylan as I’ve never read any of her books before but I will, most certainly, be looking for more of her books to read as this was a fun, fast paced read with engaging characters, a terrific storyline and sufficient passion and humour between them to make this story rock!  I encourage you to get your own copy of this book and then enjoy it!!

DUKE by Jax Hart

    Steam Heat

Shanna has been brought up. cosseted and protected by her dad’s MC in a relatively isolated area.  She is wilful, a strong feisty personality but , at times, a bit immature. Her life changes for the better one day when a stranger to her walks into the MC bar.  His name is Duke and he has a worthless father, is an ex-Marine and is a biker too.  He is ALL MAN! He has a dark exterior persona with flashbacks from his time in the military and he is loyal to a fault. But underneath he is protective, caring and all ready to love his woman when he finds her.  When I say that there is chemistry between them, I mean RED HOT all out blistering sizzling heat that is ready to explode. And what an explosion!  This is the first book that I’ve read by Jax Hart but it will NOT be the last!! WOW.  Swoon even. he really knows how to draw you into his story and keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what will happen next and if Duke and Shanna will get their HEA.  May I just make the observation that he is obviously an expert at creating sensual scenes that will make you reach for ALL the fans in your house, plus the air con to set to max cool as his writing is HOT.  I loved the twists in the story and the humour!  I can’t wait for the next book of his to read.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
