Secrets by Miranda Bailey

  Daniel & Alyana Belong Together

I have read a significant number of stories by Miranda Bailey and was lookin forward to reading her latest book here.  I really enjoyed the relationship between Daniel and Alyana which was full of love and raw emotion and they were so well suited.  For the life of me, I just couldn’t understand why Anastasia was even in the book as she added nothing towards this being a good read. If anything, when she came back and said she’d give Daniel a divorce and then immediately started on Alyana for a relationship ! So because of the redundant Anastasia, I can only give this three stars. This is, however, just my opinion and you may love the story and, If you get your own copy, you’ll be able to find out if Daniel and Alyana get their HEA, whether Daniel will become a vampire.  However, that will not stop me looking eagerly to reading Miranda’s next story as I’ve enjoyed her other books so very much. The picture on the front cover shows Daniel and Alyana and that is who the book should have just been about in my opinion.

They both want Scarlett and will do all they can to persuade her to be theirs.  This is rather overwhelming for her as she is a virgin and these two men are HOT.  Juliana Conners and Sierra Sparks have done it again and penned for us a red hot steamy menage romance that will make you switch on your fans to max cool and you won’t want to put the book down till you’ve reached the end. It is so well written by these two top 100 authors whose writing styles blend so well to create storylines that capture your imagination and give us fascinating characters that help draw you into their ‘world’.  No spoilers but Scarlett’s life is put in danger, so can Caleb and Oliver keep her safe and forever??  To find out grab yourself a copy and enjoy as much as I did.  Fabulous bonus stories too. Four Billionaires for St. Patrick’s Day: An MFMMM Menage Reverse Harem Romance by Sierra Sparks, Juliana Conners

    How To Choose Between The Men?

Juliana Conners and Sierra Sparks have penned this latest reverse harem book for us based around an Irish pub in New York City.  It’s currently owned by Claire and she is the third generation in her family to own The Bad Penny pub.   She is swamped with debt as she has had to let the one employee go as she can barely afford the mortgage.  One night, four gorgeous, handsome men walk in to the virtually deserted bar and they are Jax, his twin brother Brax and their friends Kenner and Travis. They are all single billionaires and had decided not to go to their usual bar but try sampling a bar on the other side of life. They are all very attracted to Claire and the feeling is mutual. They all dance with her and obviously want more but she shoos them out at the end of the evening. But they keep returning, sometimes on their own and often as a group.  When they discover she is in financial trouble they all help out at the bar and let Claire know that she doesn’t have to choose one of them as she can have them all!  I loved the witty repartee between them in the beginning of the book and they seem really fun men.   This was a terrific storyline and quite unique to me which I loved.  The beginning really drew me into the story and it was excellent that humour, lust, passion and caring with hard work prevailed throughout the book.  The editing wasn’t as good as usual for Juliana and Sierra’s writing which was a bit off putting but, if you ignore that aspect, I hope and believe you will be thoroughly entertained by this reverse harem story.  The characters are well developed except the way it made out that one was a pretentious, upper class twit didn’t seem a good ‘fit’ for the rest of the story.  With us being able to ‘hear’ all the characters POV and the flirting and red hot chemistry between them makes this a book that I encourage you to read and enjoy.   Fans at the ready and set to MAX cool.  A real page turner and I look forward to their next romantic story. The Renovation: A Reverse Harem Romance Kindle Edition by Mika Lane

    Spoilt For Choice

Jayma is having a rough time lately. She’s working as a receptionist at an ad agency where she meets Tanner.  Her next door neigh is handsome carter and Dig is his gorgeous friend and lance, well he is a plumber that she uses when necessary. After her rat of a boyfriend leaves her in the lurch these four wonderful,, handsome hunks come to her aid.  This is a reverse harem with Jayma having her world filled with men that lust and love her and don’t want to let her go. Sp they come up with an interesting solution to her problem. plenty of steam heat with these five and a great storyline penned by Mika Lane. If you haven’t read anything by her before then you are in for a treat as she is a terrific author and writes with passion and reality. A great story that kept my attention right to the end of the book. I look forward to Mika’s next book.  I received a reader’s copy and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

Be-still my beating heart … WOW.  There you are, just minding your own business when your plane plunges to earth in the Aslaskan wilderness and you black out. What would you do when you wake up to two, that’s right, TWO gorgeous hunky men with eyes of steel and deep blue watching over you.  they are Ace and Razor and are ‘brothers’ having met when they were orphans and joining the Navy and becoming SEALs together. Now they are in Alaska with their gorgeous dog, Gunner who helped to rescue you!  Poor Caitlin – it must have been tough waking to both of them 😉  As they nurse her back to health Caitlin realises that she is falling in love with them both which is is worried about because she’s just got out of a bad relationship with a cheat and there is no way that these two could both love her. But Ace and Razor are exceptional men and have fallen in love with her. What are they to do?  I loved the relationship between the two men as they were closer than most blood brothers are and the care and tenderness that they felt for Cailtin, as well as the red hot steamy lust they feel for her which is off the charts. I loved the banter between the three of them and the humour too.  This is a sizzling steamy romance that you’re going to remember for a long time. Beautifully composed by Eddie Cleveland who knows what the meaning of RED HOT is and delivers stories with an abundance of it for us to enjoy.  Loved the ending!!!!  This is one story that I will be re-reading in the future as it is just so good!   Too Much Choice

Monica has just dumped her boyfriend/boss when she catches him at work with her supposed best friend. So she thinks she’s lost her job too.  Fortunately for her, her cousin Ricky who has the family ranch in Arizona phones her asking for help as he’s afraid that the ranch is going to go bust. She readily agrees and flies there as soon as she can.  There are four men also on the ranch – Jessie who is the old ranch hand and a steadying hand on the three ranch hands – Dylan [moody and sullen], Thorne [his twin and more outgoing and friendly] and Zach [passionate and brought up by the twins parents].  Monica came across to me as a bit of a drip and a doormat.  I wanted her to be feisty and take no flack from them.  But she has sex with the three of them, individually and then as a quartet.  Little does she realise that they’ve done this before sharing women so is this likely to be love or just a happy opportunity that she is there?  Secrets will be revealed. Why did Ricky go off?? Lots of repetitive sex scenes. If they hadn’t had so many men it wouldn’t have been so repetitive and, I think at least, a better story.  Written by Asha Daniels who is a new author to me. There was so much going on that was good that I will look for more of her stories to try.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Cocky: A Reverse Harem Romance by Ashlee Price

   1Woman + 4Men = Perfection For Dani

Ashlee Price has done it again and penned a wonderfully, entertaining sexy romance between Dani and her four men: Reilly, Kaleb, Noah and Hector.  This is set in Hollywood and Dani wants herself a man.  Instead, she ends up with four of them!  This is a compulsive book in that you can’t stop reading it as you want to know how it all ends. But twists in the storyline mess things round a bit and make it even more heated with plenty of lust leading to love.  A HEA at the end? I’m not going to tell you, as you need to get a copy of this yourself and enjoy the experience. I received a free reader’s copy and voluntarily leave my honest opinion here.

7 November 2017  – I loved the characters of Lacie and Riker but the Melanie one needs to be put down as she was so wicked. Glad I got that out of my system! Both Lacie and Riker have come from the city, her to start up a new design business and him to help young kids who are at risk . Lacie moves into her late grandmother’s cabin but it needs some updating so she asks at the local diner and Riker goes after the job. Their attraction is instant and with being so close one thing leads to another and we have STEAM HEAT. But then one of the old biddies, a Mrs Pettigrew, says it isn’t good for Lacie to be near Riker and with her employee, the Vile Melanie telling constant lies about Riker, Lacie withdraws from him leaving him upset and confused. The Evil Melanie, stage hiss and boos here please, takes advantage of Riker! No spoilers now. let’s just say that Ashlee Price has written a corker of a story here with Mrs Pettigrew and the Vile Melanie being the characters so unpleasant that I really wanted something unpleasant to happen to them! But the lust that turned to love between Riker and Lacie cannot be ignored and the Vile one’s lies won’t be believed for ever, thank goodness. I love Ashlee’s stories and this is one of her best 🙂 if you haven’t read any of her books before please do try this and then you will see why her stories are so popular and there are plenty for you to catch up on. Book 2: Rekindled –Left Alone And Pregnant Without A Backward Glance…

8 October 2017 – Michael was born with a silver spoon in his mouth as they say. Callie was not. Ashlee Price introduced us to them as high school sweethearts who love one another and on graduation night they have sex. Michael isn’t particularly mature and ends up in a fight with his friend and leaves to go to college and basically forgets about Callie who he supposedly loves and no one else [that’s why he isn’t one of my favourite “heroes”]. Callie finds out that she is pregnant but doesn’t think that she should tell Michael because of his maturity and she doesn’t want to spoil his chances at college.She has her dad and Michael’s son to keep her busy looking after them. She does marry but within 24 hours she is a widow. Their mutual friend tells Michael that he needs to hear something about Callie… No spoilers from me here, In Rekindled, we see Callie cope with being a single mum, heartbroken as her sweetheart leaves her for college and knowing he’s out womanising whilst she bears his child. She is also suffering from PTSD. How can this couple ever become a family? So much going on and I feel so sorry for Callie as she deserves so much more than Michaels’ lack of concern for her.I’m going to read this again as I have always loved Ashlee’s characters [and obviously her books] before and Michael just doesn’t seem good enough for Callie. Still an excellent book with Ashlee’s lovely flowing style of writing. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

Book 3: My Protector – Will They Protect Each Other’s Heart?

4 September 2017 – Jenna has just finished college but doesn’t know where to go, or if she will, to grad school. She returns to her hometown where her father’s business is going downhill and he is having difficulties with a horrid shade character. plus he ex boyfriend, Tanner, a fireman no less and gorgeous with it, who asked her to marry him before she left for college is still holding her heart in his hands. But after she rejected him he tried to move on with Brandy but they aren’t exactly in a stable nor consistent relationship. Jenna’s Dad is not coping since her mum died and she is so worried about him, what’s she going to do in her life and whether she wants Tanner back. She’s all over the place. Tanner still wants Jenna but he’s got to cope with the extra work with fires round town, with Jenna “flying off the handle” and not listening to explanations form people she should trust. Tanner is a wonderful man whilst being absolutely a real stud muffin and a fireman, he really cares about Jenna but can he trust her to guard and nurture his heart if he offers it again to her? A truly fabulous story by Ashlee price whose writing just becomes more absorbing with every book she writes. I think this is her best yet and the others are terrific!!!
