    A Very Special Baby!

I have read and loved The Bradford Brothers by Juliana Conners and was delighted to see that Darren, who was also injured in the helicopter crash with them has now got his story in print too! Darren is an ex Navy SEAL who was badly injured and scarred in a helicopter crash and invested his compensation very wisely and has now turned himself into a multi billionaire. He has had many surgeries already but still feels as if he is hideous and frighten people so to avoid this he has hidden himself away in a specially built mansion cabin that he got built for him. It’s absolutely massive and only he lives there. His mum and his son [who is a little cutie and Darren knew nothing about till he came back after he was demobbed when the child’s mother handed over him and then disappeared. The baby screamed when Darren looked at him and Darren is sure that he scared his son by his disfigurements] live close by but he rarely sees them as he’s so worried that he will scare his little son. His cook and cleaner, Ev, is off ill and she has to look after herself, her daughter Hope who is 19 and her two younger sons. Hope goes in her mum’s place as they need the money and Darren pays extremely well. Ev warns her not to go into certain parts of the house but Hope panics and ventures into the library where Darren finds her.They are both very attracted to one another but Darren tries to hide his face even though Hope has seen his face and thinks that he is the most handsome man that she has ever seen. Darren has a secret and he makes a proposition that Hope has to ponder as it would lead to major disruption to her studies and what would her mum and everyone else think? I wasn’t too sure what was supposed to be wrong with Darren that his fertility was diminishing rapidly but it fitted well into the story. Hope and Darren were so well suited for one another. She was a submissive and he was a dom in the making. She wanted to learn everything and he was more than happy to teach her. The passion between them was very sensually penned by Juliana and it could make your panties melt and you will certainly need to switch on your fans as the story is HOT, HOT and even HOT! But could something more real and lasting forge between them? To find out you need to get a copy of this book. I really enjoyed this story and

As well as some brilliant bonus short stories that are definitely worth reading too! In the five named books, it contains five alpha males who are either ex military, billionaires, mc riders,CEO’s, Doms, cowboys or stepbrothers who all know what they want and will do just about anything to get what they want. Ashlee Price is an author whose stories I have been reading for over two years now and enjoyed every one of them whilst Sophia Senna is a new author to me but, after having read her stories in this bundle, I will be most assuredly be looking for more of her books to read and enjoy. Pure escapism with hunky heroes and damsels that don’t always need to be rescued as they tend to be confident young women who also know what they want and will accept nothing less. Be prepared for plenty of passion, hot and steamy scenes and pantie melting moments that you will need to switch on your fans and relax as you indulge in reading these rom-coms and racy love stories. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED
However, I enjoyed these so much that I bought a copy for myself and the bonus novellas are certainly well worth reading too!

Under the Mistletoe: A Sexy Bad Boy Holiday Novel (The Parker’s 12 Days of Christmas) by Ali Parker (Author),‎ Weston Parker (Author),‎ Blythe Reid (Author),‎ Zoe Reid (Author)

   Book 2 The Parker’s 12 Days of Christmas

Lily is excellent with numbers and, as such, with her exceedingly high scores in tests she misses the first year of college.  Whilst taking her Cost Accounting Class she can’t help but notice and crush on Alex.  Alex is is the president of his frat boy house [think drink, womanising and as little college work as possible and you’ll get my drift] and he is on a scholarship because he is a track star but if his grades don’t improve in accounting he will fail and lose his scholarship which he can’t afford to do. His lecturer suggests that he find a tutor and it’s whilst at one of his frat house parties that he meets shy, nerdy and beautiful Lily literally in his lap.  He asks if she will help tutor him and she agrees on the condition that she and her best friend, Amber, can come to some frat house parties.  Alex agrees and his studies begin to improve with Lily’s help.  But whilst his studies are doing so much better he is becoming friends with Lily and their attraction for one another rises exponentially. One thing leads to another and they share a night of passion beyond their wildest dreams.  I really did enjoy ‘#hearing’ their two POV [i.e. Points Of View] throughout the story as it helped me to understand them so much better.  They really were a good match despite their 3 years difference in their ages as Lily was mature for her age and helped balance Alex’s ‘wilder’ side to his personality This had a great storyline  with such interesting characters  that I genuinely liked.  Apart, that is, from Brent.  He is the ‘vipera in horto’ or snake in the grass that Alex needs to watch like a hawk. This is a fun, and believable story which captured my imagination at page 1 and retained it till I got to the end. Then I had book 3 to read next!

One Winter Night: A Sexy Bad Boy Holiday Novel (The Parker’s 12 Days of Christmas) by Ali Parker (Author),‎ Weston Parker (Author),‎ Blythe Reid (Author),‎ Zoe Reid (Author)

    Book 1 of The Parker’s 12 Days of Christmas

 

This is set in winter in Savannah [which I’ve been to and is a beautiful city].  We meet not one but three ex military men, Jack [our hero in this story], his best friend Matt and matt’s dad whose security firm they all work for.  jack has just come out of ex Delta Force . His last mission didn’t go as well as planned and he’s now settling into civilian life working for his best friend’s dad.  When he walks in he is stunned by the gorgeous young woman standing there and he realises it’s Emma, Matt’s little sister who had a major crush on him as a teenager. She’s all grown up in the most delightful, curvy way and he wants her and the feeling seems to be mutual.  matt and her dad want to protect Emma and keep her behind a desk away from any danger but she wants to be much more involved and is getting frustrated with the two of them.  Jack is assigned his first client but Jack is suspicious of the awkward customer and thinks that he is up to no good and that there is much more going on than just a protection issue.  When Emma gets involved too, Jack’s sense of high alert goes sky high as there is no way that he’s going to let her get hurt.   A mystery to solve and a stunning heroine to save…Jack is the Man to do it!  I really enjoyed this story as it has so many elements to it that could have been way too much. However, with authors such as Ali Parker, Weston parker, Blythe Reid and Zoey Reid you know that the writing is going to be terrific. The storyline was credible and the characters were 3-dimensional and very likeable [well the good ones were and the ‘baddies’ were truly awful]. The banter between Emma and  Jack was entertaining, flirty and you could practically seem the steam and sizzling sparks of passion between these two as I read the story.  Instant lust/passion takes on a whole new meaning with these two as they are so well suited. He is a genuine guy who has troubled memories from his time in the service but he doesn’t try to blot it out on alcohol or womanising.  He just copes as best as he can, not harming anyone and slowly will work out coping strategies as time goes on and, I would imagine, get help if he felt he needed it as Jack is no fool.  Emma is feisty which he loves even though it frustrates him at times when she puts herself in danger.  But she knows that he, Matt and her dad will be there to rescue her – although she feels more than capable of looking after herself and they’d better not forget that!  This is book 1 of 12 altogether and whilst you don’t need to read them in numerical order you do meet up with some characters in subsequent stories which was a feature that I especially loved.  Roll on the next 11 eleven stories as this is a fantastic start and far exceeded my high expectations as it was.  This is a fast paced story, so fasten your seat belt and hang on for the ride!

Dragons Of Sin City: The Complete Series Meg Ripley

 There Be Dragons!

This is a set of three stories about Dragon shifters who are based in Las Vegas and I have read them individually in the past and loved each and every one of them. In fact, it was Book 1 – Stryker’s Desire that got me into reading Meg Ripley’s stories.I like her style of writing which is relaxed and flows so smoothly as if she is telling you the story and her descriptions help you visualise what is occurring. Now shifters, if you didn’t already know, are very passionate about their loves and artifacts especially gold so be warned. Each book is a standalone so don’t worry if you haven’t got the time to read them all straight after each other as this will not detract from how well they are written. Of the three I would say that book 1, Stryker’s Desire is my favourite as I loved the way Eva turned Cade down, much to his surprise He really was way too confident [well he is a dragon shifter and casino owner and a multi billionaire who is handsome enough to take your breath away. However, Eva really needs to be aware of Victor as he is one bad guy I wouldn’t want to upset! A great set of books that are well written and very entertaining. Enjoy!
