She was devastated when he left but he obviously didn’t love her to leave like that without a goodbye.  Eight years later Molly has proven to be a resourceful and good business woman with a thriving business and she is held in high esteem by the community. Mountain Man’s Secret Baby – Lauren’s Storytelling At Her Best! 15 April 2018.  Denise, whom we met in the previous book [Mountain man’s Bride with Molly and Chris] and Ethan [he is an Alaskan but not from Nome and is working on the new harbour being built to attract tourism to the area]. Denise is still working for Molly [a really nice young woman who appears in quite a few of the scenes – think bathroom and Ethan with no clothes on in the shower –  she is feeling rather lonely to be honest and despite Molly encouraging her to accept a date with one of the many men who ask her, she just won’t as she doesn’t think they are ‘right’ for her. Then this gorgeous man walks in and she can’t keep her eyes off him.  He can’t keep his eyes off her either and his name is Ethan!  The feisty little red head is driving him crazy and he has a bet that he will get further with her than any man in Nome. . .

Untamed (Irresistible Bachelors Book 9) by Lauren Landish

  My Favourite Story by Lauren Landish – A Must Have Read

Aubrey was the high school jock and Ana was his Girl.  They had everything planned – their wedding, how many children they would have. Then on senior prom night he left without a word. No one knew where he or his family had gone. NOTHING!  ten years later Ana is a hard-working young nurse and she needs to have a well earned break so goes for two weeks holidays to Bear Mountain and it is there that she meets Aubrey.   prepare to cry and have your fans/air con at the ready for the red hot, steamy, passionate sex scenes between these two lovers.  In this second chance romance, discover what happened to Aubrey and his family and see whether these two fabulous characters do get a chance at HEA.  Lauren Landish has given us a tremendous story in Untamed, the ninth book of the Irresistible Bachelors Series. It would be so easy to fall in love with Aubrey and I confess that I had my hankie out. But what a moving and compelling story!  It is undoubtedly my favourite story by Lauren and I strongly encourage you to get your own copy now.  I can’t wait for her next book!  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Mountain Rough (A Real Rough Man Book 1) by Kelli Callahan

  Have Your Fans At The Ready!

As Kelli Callahan says herself, her ” job is to make your panties melt…” and she certainly exceeds all expectation in this story of Red and Mandy.  Mandy was going to the mountain resort with her best friend when she left her going on her own at the last minute and the resort was awful!  However, she then met Red. Oh my!  He was all solid muscles, in all the right places, with piercing eyes and a grin that would met your heart and start your heart beating faster.  He’s going to make me his and I’m not going anywhere but right into his arms.  There is enough heat and suspense that you will not want to put the book down in this fast paced instant lust and passion story. I only discovered Kelli’s stories this year but she is fast becoming one of my favourite authors.  have your fans/air con at the ready as they will be working overtime when you read this story bursting with chemistry from these two gorgeous characters.  can’t wait for Kelli’s next book!  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Truth or Dare: A Mountain Man’s Second Chance Romance by Amy Brent

   Rescued In The Mountains

Calla was barely 18 years old and ready to go off to college when she has a passionate one night stand with Jake and loses her virginity to him.  They never think they will see each other again but she got pregnant that one special night.  Meanwhile, Jake joined up and spent time in Afghanistan and suffers from PTSD. Since leaving the military he has lived in the mountains in Maine in his own wooden cabinwith his dog, Casper, with no electricity nor running water or tv!  He often spends time with his friend Gabe who lives nearby [about a mile away].  Eleven years later, Calla is now a romance writer and wants to get some inspiration for her latest book and so she does a survival course before hiking in the mountains. Unfortunately, bad timing leads to her caught in a bad snow storm and Jake rescues her, little realising that she was HIS Calla!  What I found refreshingly lovely about this latest story by Amy Brent was that Jake had not been a man whore in the eleven years between being with Calla and finding her in the storm, which does tend to be the ‘formula’ in many love stories these days.  It was her memory that often helped him throughout the years and her encounter with him had certainly provided fabulous ‘material’ for her novels.  As she has to spend some time there together in the storm they play a game of @truth or Dare’ and all sorts of interesting info is revealed.  Their passion for one another is still burning brightly but is that enough? Or are these fews days together all that they are going to have?  Will Jake want more of her? Will they tell each other how they feel?  Will Calla want to live in the mountains with him?  Do they stand a chance at a HEA?  This is one of Amy’s best stories yet.  I loved the twists in the storyline and I liked ‘hearing’ their POV and it flowed so well. By the end of the book I really felt as if I almost ‘knew’ them. Their interactions were so well written and I couldn’t put the book down as it was just so great a read. I fully encourage you all to get your own copy and I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I did.  Looking forward to Amy’s next story. Damaged Love by Sarah J. Brooks

  Mountain Man’s Saviour

Years ago, Dash was a renowned scientist who was close to finding a cure for cancer when his rival got the Mob to kill Dash. But the plan didn’t work as hoped for him.  Dash survived but his wife was murdered instead. So he is now in hiding up in the mountains waiting for the when the time is right to go back to society and get justice. In the meantime, he must keep his location a secret.  one night in a storm he heres a call for help but when no one else responds he finds the stranded and injured hiker called Jeni.When she wakes he says she can make a call on her phone to let her family know that she is safe but must not mention him which she does. Jeni is a feisty young woman and as they spend time together their feelings for one another grow.  This is a wonderful story by Sarah. J. brooks that will pull at your heart strings and you’ll also need a fan set to MAX COOL as the ere are plenty of sensual scenes that will sizzle and cause steam heat.  The characters are realistic and the ending is powerful and so fitting. I strongly encourage you to get a copy of this book for yourself as it is a must have read. I did receive a reader’s copy and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

  Turo’s Second Chance at Love

Hero has had a tragic life so far.  She married her college best friend, Tom, and they married and had a beautiful daughter called Beth. One journey changed their lives forever, when  drunken driver drove into them killing beth instantly and leaving Tom in a coma for a brief time and hero in a coma for three months to wake up to be told that her beloved husband and daughter were both dead. Her adopted sister, Imelda whom I didn’t like very much at the beginning, tells her after two years to get up, get out and do something!  So Hero takes her to her word and travels to Italy where she was born. She doesn’t have to worry about money and she sees an apartment that she wishes to buy and goes to the auction and wins the bid.  Also bidding was Arturo Bacchi has purchased all the other rooms in that building but that one and is furious when he loses that bid.  He also noticed Hero and thought she looked the most beautiful woman that he’d ever seen and she looked remarkably like his murdered girlfriend, Flavia, but no one was ever found guilty of the murder. When he and Hero start a relationship after their almost instant lust/love at first site at the auction, the murderer makes his feelings known and sends messages to hero saying she has limited time left.  This is an amazing story by Michelle Love that I really enjoyed from the beginning right to the end.  My attention was captured straight away as I felt as if I almost ‘knew’ Hero  and when she met the delicious Arturo [Turo] it seemed as if her life was taking a turn for the better but she hadn’t revealed to him that she had bout the apartment yet. There is so much going on in this tremendous story with some real evil villains and I learned to love Melly [aka Imelda], Hero and Turo. Just amazing descriptions and plot  that with Michelle’s persuasive writing it was almost as if I was watching a film of this all happening in front of me.  This is a MUST HAVE READ and you will not want to put the book down – I certainly didn’t and do not regret the lack of sleep that night.  There was no cheating and we ‘listened’ to both their POV so it was much more insightful as to what was going on. My favourite story yet by Michelle.  WARNING: have your fans set to MAX cool as it’s going to get RED HOT!!

Broken – A Mountain Man’s Romance by Mia Ford, Bella Winters

   They Fix Each Other

Mia Ford and Bella Winters have created a wonderful romance for us here to enjoy and I did enjoy it very much.  Jonathan has given up on humanity, or so he thinks, after being brutally treated by an ex and his so called family turn their backs on him. He moved to the mountains to just be himself and not have to put up with so much deceit and lack of loyalty.  Carrie is a college student and she has planned to go hiking in the mountains. She thinks that she’s thought of everything but she hadn’t and whilst up there she needs help. Jonathan comes across her and he decides, despite his initial thoughts, to help her.  As they spend time alone and they get to know each other, we are given access to these two wonderful people learning to trust one another and developing very deep emotional bonds that turn to lust and love.  Can Carrie help Jonathan learn to trust her and become a part of society again?Will he believe that his and her feelings are real or just lust because of proximity?? The passionate scenes between them are RED HOT and you’ll need your fans set to MAX COOL, but they are so beautifully written that it doesn’t seem intrusive.  I was hooked at page one and entertained right to the end plus the bonus story, Claiming Charlotte, which has not been published before and is a great read too!  I was rooting for them both and I loved the ending.  I urge you to get get your own copy of this amazing story.

They must be connected? Surely?  She’s determined to find out and this can get her into real trouble. Her first two words to Logan are “Kiss Me” and as he is attracted to her, he does. One thing leads to another…is there a real connection between Logan and her dead fiancée, Mark?  What trouble is she going to get into by being with Logan?  Secrets are difficult to keep and can cause misunderstandings. But what will Logan do when he finds out that Harper is carrying his baby?  Are his feelings for her deep enough to risk his own life to save her and the baby?  I really loved this story by Nikki Chase and as I’ve read all of her book available for kindle in the UK, I can honestly say that I think this is her best book yet!  Looking forward to her next story! But Charlie wants to be there for her and it is just as well he does, as he saves her life.  Whenever they are alone the atmosphere heats up and the passion between them erupts.  Charlie is worried that other men will want to take her from him but in an incident in the fish restaurant , and his friends restaurant, Merle shows him that he has nothing to fear.  Things are going so well for them when they get a message that a man is asking about her in town.  Could it be her ex who wouldn’t take the break up seriously?  Charlie is terrified that he’s lost her just as they were beginning to be a couple.  Do they stand a chance at love? Who is this man who wants to know where she is? Is it her ex? To find out you’re going to have to get yourself a copy of Lauren Wood’s latest romance and read.  I really enjoyed this story and was hooked on it from page one to the very end. I liked the twist in the story – especially the one at the very end.  I received a free reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review.   Love Makes The World  A better Place

Paige is a feisty young woman who is a private investigator with a degree that she does not use in her line of work.  She is given a job by multi billionaire, Mr Kent, who says there is a thief stealing money form his business and he wants her to find out who it is.  The trail, is easy to follow and she is surprised and confused by this job as most of the work has already been done for her.  She is wary and discovers that the ‘thief’ is Zach. Now Zach and his mum escaped form his father’s clutches when he was a teenager as he was an abusive man. Unfortunately, the impact of the abuse lead to his mum committing suicide when he was 14 years old. He now lives in a cabin in the mountains with only one window and he keeps to himself – he goes to work as a lumberjack and occasionally has a one night stand but has never had a relationship until he meets Paige.  She is feisty, curvy and intelligent and stunning and they are instantly mutually attracted to each other.  he asks her out and, for once, he begins a relationship with her.  More surprises occur and Paige is more and more concerned as to why Mr Kent employed her to find out the thief as she trusts Zach.  This is one terrific story and yes, with instant attraction you may think that is all it’s going to be about with lots of hot, sexy scenes and a HEA. But you’d be wrong!  Don’t get me wrong as there are lots of red, hot sexy scenes with plenty of passion but there is a very real underlining plot that is weaving it’s way through the book too and is well worth the read.  The included extra stories are amazing too so please read those too when you get your copy.  I hope you enjoy this story and all the others as much as I did.  I do like Eva Luxe’s writing style and the genre that she writes for. her attention to details all helps to bring the story to ‘life’ with believable characters and interesting twists and turns and, of course, a wonderful HEA!  I received a free reader’s copy and leave my honest opinion of the book here.
