This is book 2 of the series and follows Olivia’s story following the tragic death of her mother which she doesn’t want to talk about to anyone. She goes back home and this is when things start to get interesting. Alex, the latest IT street artist is dealing with his own past haunting him and he needs to get out of the limelight and goes to a retreat at Carter Ridge. When her grandmother asks her to get a mysterious parcel from Carter Ridge she then encounters Alex with his own demons. She doesn’t want to go there but will do anything for her grandmother. When an ex and awful boyfriend finds out that she is back, she has Alex to protect her. can these two haunted souls find solace in each others arms? With so many things in common they can relate to one another, like both losing their mums, and as they learn more about each other the chemistry between them sparkles and sizzles but will they let it ignite? Wonderfully written and with passion and love throughout the book. I will be looking forward to Christna Benjamin’s next book.
