Kane is an older man and a great cop with the most fantastic police canine ever called Malia.  He rescued her when he was on holiday in Alaska – paid for her training the lot and she is as devoted to him as he is to her!  She is also possessive of him and doesn’t like any woman he brings round till he meets Quinn again.  Now he’s on a stakeout for a drug mule when he realises with Malia’s help , just in time, NOT to tazer the ‘suspect because it’s Quinn – his best friend’s little sister who isn’t so little any more. In fact, she’s grown up into the  most delectable and stunning young woman that he wants to wrap up and have for himself alone.  She’s wearing the same clothes as the suspect so she points them in the right direction and they catch the drug mule. But his captain is mad at him for not following orders and he is suspended! Unbelievable!  However, it does mean that he has time to pursue Quinn and make sure that she’s on board with being HIS forever. Her brother might have something to say about it but she’s more important.  Instant love and oh such a glorious read that only Flora Ferrari can give. She composes the most compelling stories of instant love around and makes her characters so likeable, loveable, realistic and fun in witty storylines that draw you in and keep me coming back for more.   An Excellent Introduction To The Paranormal

Evan:-  A bear shifter and policeman. When a new inhabitant joins the town to take over the florist shop that her grandmother owned, Evan pays a visit and knows that Deanna is going to be very special in his life!

Garrett:- Another bear shifter and deputy sheriff in Orville.  When rogues attack and kill a well respected  member of the community who was a vampire.  So he ends up looking after three new vampires to the town and this means that he comes in contact with Angel. Angel, a vampire, is used to life being difficult but Garrett isn’t making it any easier. But there is an attraction between them – no matter how hard they try to ignore it.

Adam:-  He appears at Hazel, the town’s ‘doctor’ for help.  He is an ancient soul but keeps exactly what he is a secret as he doesn’t want to lead to any harm coming to Hazel’s door.

Nikoli :- The sheriff and bear shifter who is suspicious of everyone –  particularly the witch who is very powerful and lives like a hermit on her own.  But there is more to her than at first sight. Irene just wants to be left alone to practice her magic and this interfering sheriff is just getting in the way. And he is maddening!!!

This is one wonderful collection of stories by J.S. Striker that I thoroughly enjoyed reading one straight after the other.  I liked the style of writing and the wonderful, interesting storylines that kept me on my toes and wondering what was going to happen next.  If you haven’t read any paranormal before then this is a great collection to help you get the ‘bug’.  As it contains bear shifters, my favourites, this really appealed to me. Fatal Attraction by Mia Ford, Bella Winters

  You NEED To Read This Story!

This is a story of intrigue, suspense, surprising encounters, a drugs ring, death, a surprise baby, gun fights, a growing love despite the odds and heartbreak, a friendship bond that is all about deceit and betrayal. having said that, it is written by Bella Winters and Mia Ford so you just know it’s going to be a rip roaring romance with plenty of angst but such a fabulous story that it will keep you on the edge of your seat as you work your way through a story that doesn’t just give some twists and turns as rather mind blowing and life changing.  I so loved reading about Will and Cici as they were just so great together. He had most certainly been a player before he met her but he even knew that she made him better.  Theirs is not an easy ‘courtship’ but it does provide a perfect ending for them.  I must add that I loved the Best Man’s Speech that Will gave at his friend’s wedding and I thought his first date was just perfect for the two of them.  The epilogue just gives the whole story that magical ending that I love in a story. The drama was so believable that I literally couldn’t put the book down as I needed to know the ending and who was Kingpin! I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Cop’s Fake Fiancée: An Older Man Younger Woman Romance (A Man Who Knows What He Wants Book 46) by Flora Ferrari

  Good Guy To The Rescue

May is dying and not expected to live beyond December.  She goes to her best friend’s dad, Steven, who is also her Godfather, her deceased Dad’s best friend and the man she has had a crush on for years to pretend to be her fake fiancée to help her live.  Steven is a cop and a man of integrity and can’t believe he is even thinking of doing this but the more he thinks of May, he doesn’t see his sweet little Goddaughter, he sees a hot young woman that he wants and he wants to have her all to himself and be her first and her everything. I really enjoyed this story as Flora Ferrari really knows how to draw us readers into her stories and keep us entertained right to the very end.  I loved the connection between Steven and May. Cancer touches most of our lives in some form or other and I’m pleased that Flora didn’t shy away from it.  This is a well written story with believable characters that touched my heart and I hope that you will enjoy it too. To find out whether May is saved and whether they can have a HEA, you will need to purchase your own copy then switch off your phone, lock the doors and settle down to delve into their world. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Naomi has recently opened up a new restaurant in town and has found little time to relax. Out one day relaxing she is out taking photos with her brand new camera and is after the perfect shot. She doesn’t realise that she’s on private property or that whilst she is there , a robbery is taking place. The next thing she knows is that she in hand cuffs and being read her rights by a very sexy Sheriff called Ben. Now Ben is ex-military, gorgeous and feeling rather hot under the collar where Naomi is concerned. She is his chief suspect in a yacht robbery but he wants to prove she wasn’t involved as he’d rather have her in hand cuffs in their private time. He has just moved to town and has avoided relationships over the years in the special forces but Naomi makes him want things he hasn’t dreamed of before. But her ex is an ex con and was she involved? As Naomi and Ben get to know each other better the temperatures rise to steaming and you may need to use your fans as the pair of them are so compatible. He knows in his gut that she’s innocent but she may be a clue to solving the crime. They are like magnets to each other that cannot keep away and each time the air sizzles between them that is getting to combustible level. This story by Emily Bishop highlights all her strengths as an author. her storylines are complex but her writing style is such that the words flow across the pages drawing the reader into the plot. Ben and Naomi are so good together and we see their feelings emerging and deepening until they cannot keep apart. But will he be able to keep her safe and is this going to be a story with a HEA? To find out you’ll need to buy this must have read as it will keep you absorbed in the book from first to last page. A book that I will be re-reading as it’s so good.
