Risky Gamble (Risky Series Book 1) by Vivian Ward

   Can’t Get Too Hot

Oh my!  What a series this is going to be with Colton and Ally going into this ‘professional’ relationship it is so obvious that emotions are going to get involved too.  Prepare to have your fans set to MAX cool as you’re going to need it.  This is a fabulous start to Vivian Ward’s book 1 of Risky Gamble.  Can’t wait for book 2 to be published. With amazing characters and a plot that is so HOT and with the promise that this is the mildest of the books then we are in for a heatwave! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Enchanted By Fire (Dragons Of The Darkblood Secret Society, #3) by Meg Ripley

   Did She Really Just See Him Do THAT!!

Meg Ripley is one of my favourite paranormal authors. I love her rich language and detailed descriptions that brings these mystical creatures to life and makes them almost believable.  This is book 3 of the Dragons Of The Darkblood Secret Society and in it we meet Ethan who is a dragon shifter and he is frustrated that hunters are proving to be a very real threat to their community and Resa who is a feisty young reporter who is also has a dragon blog as she dreams of them and met one when she was much younger.  Their first encounter does not go well as she catches Ethan shifting so he kidnaps her and holds her prisoner.  What is he to do with her?  The attraction between them is very obvious and when she puts herself in danger how will Ethan cope if he can’t reach and save her in time? Plenty of suspense and romance mixed together in this dragon shifting adventure. It is book 3 of a series but can easily be read as a standalone.  I would also encourage you to read more of Meg’s stories as they are just so good and will keep you entertained for hours. My personal favourites are the bears! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
