This is the second book in The Manly Series by Teddy Hester and what a wonderful rom-com this is!  Teddy knows just how to draw the reader into her story and weave it with humour in a fabulous storyline. in this story we have an alpha male, Tony, who has to have everything under his control batting heads with Chloe who is a feisty female who likes to get her own way too.  They are the total opposites of each other with him very ‘contained’ and she is impulsive and extrovert.  When they meet the electricity between them ‘sparks’.  I loved the banter and what a wonderful ending! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wrong Side of Love by Em Petrova

   Liam To The Rescue

Geneva is a high flying solicitor on her way up in a prestigious firm but she has no husband and all think she should be married to prove stability to climb to the upper echelons of the law firm. But she’s not interested in any of the men in the firm hitting on her nor any of the stuffed shirts that her mum is parading before her.  But then, Geneva is in a car crash and she spots someone that she wants to get to know intimately and that’s the mechanic that is going to make her Lexus all nice and new.  His name is Liam and he is one hunky alpha male that makes her heart beat and panties melt.  Now I b ought this book last year and loved it.  Liam and Geneva are so believable and I love the humour and banter between them. Who cares if he’s not the type her mum nor her firm expect her to have a relationship with?  It’s none of their business and they’re having way to much fun and getting hot and heavy together.  The attraction between the two is written so well by Em Petrova that it’s almost as if you’re there with them experiencing the heat – and, oh boy, is it hot!!  Do what I did and get yourself a copy of this and enjoy!!!!!  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Dirty Fake Fiancé by Sky Corgan

  Bewitched By Red Head

This is a short [wish it had been longer] story by Sky Corgan that will keep you amused and entertained for an afternoon.  Danny’s ex, harper, was a deranged woman that he had to take a restraining order out on her as she got so bad.  But his sister, Adele, and her fiancée, Carl, hear both sides of the story and still invite them both to their wedding which is taking place on a three day cruise!   Poor Danny didn’t realise till he was about to walk up the plank to the boat but then he sees a stunning red headed woman, Lenka, and he makes her a proposition – be his fake fiancée for the wedding cruise and he’d pay her more than she would get as the waitressing role she had been going to be paid for the cruise. She accepts the three times her salary as she needs the money. What they didn’t expect was that they’d be so attracted to one another and that one thing would lead to another and . . .

Will they be believable and keep harper away from Danny? What will happen if they do fall for each other? Lenka has secrets that could cause problems, what will Danny do if he finds out??  To find out if they do get their HEA in this romantic- comedy, you’re going to have to get your own copy and find out.  This was really good story that kept me laughing and smiling and I did so want Danny and Lenka to get together. As for Harper!! Will Danny forgive Adele and Carl [his best friend] for landing him with harper on the cruise??  I look forward to many more enjoyable stories from Sky.

A Must Have Series
if you are new to paranormal stories and shifters, in particular, then I believe that this is the series that will sway your mind.  I confess that I love reading about bears so these were winners before I’d even read them but they certainly lived up to and exceeded my expectations.

Whose After Thorn’s Territory?

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.  We are introduced to Thorn, a Kodiak alpha bear shifter who is the largest shifter in Ripple, Oregon. Now he’s a peace loving bear who is only interested in fighting and having fun with the ladies!  Felicity is a property developer form out of town and she is here in Ripple to see if there is the potential for building a shopping mall, high rise buildings and changing the nature of the whole town.  It’s in Sally’s bar [she has been after Thorn for ever so long but he never notices her], that Thorn notices when Felicity walks into the bar. In fact everyone notices her as she is so out of place.  When she walks back out three creeps follow her so Thorn follows them as he knows that they’re up to no good.  There he finds that they have tried to ambush her so Thorn goes to the rescue and by the time the creeps are running away she has got in her car and sped away, but he paused as he was so surprised that she had been so calm!  A puzzle! She returns to see Sally and threatens her into selling her bar as Felicity is determined to get rich with this scheme of hers.  But things start happening like Thorns property being damaged. Who would dare threaten the biggest alpha around??  Is someone after his territory?   Will felicity tell him that she is a mountain lion shifter? Secrets are revealed from the past that are effecting today.  As they get to know one another better their attraction and lust increases are they mates? Will they get their HEA? Will Thorn discover who is behind the ‘pranks’?  For you to find out you need to read this latest book by Emilia Hartley.  I really like reading paranormal stories, especially bear shifters an so I knew that I was going to like the hero.  I have read all of Emilia’s stories that have been published in ebook form in the UK and I do like her easy flowing writing style with great storylines and interesting characters and , of course, the HEAs.

His ex who is Thom’s mate, Felicity, asks him for help when Sally, a young bar tender, is accused of attempting to murder Thom but she knows that Sally didn’t do it.  Sally, meanwhile, has not had it easy lately as she has been turned into a were-bear by a mad raging were-bear gone crazy and she has not made peace with her bear yet. Thom has been helping her get to understand her bear but she knows her attraction for him is fruitless as he is already mated to Felicity.  Sally’s ‘sire’ is causing havoc with her free will and could put Thom ‘s life in danger. Book 3 – The Grizzly’s Vendetta

This is the perfect ‘ending’ for this wonderful series and is even better than the first two that I loved.  Whilst I read this one at a time and it was perfectly fine for me to do so, it was so much better reading one straight after the other as I really felt almost a part of the community that I had come to know so well.

This series is Emilia Hartley at her best and I strongly encourage you to try7 this series if you haven’t read any shifter/paranormal stories like this before as I am confident that these could get you addicted to them like so many of us.

His Town by Ellie Danes

  Sweet Romance

This is a really sweet story about Emily, big city young woman, who arrives at a small town to buy up real estate for her father’s business.  We also have Rhett and this is HIS TOWN.  He’s returned home to work on the family farm to help his neighbours so that they don’t have to sell to Emily!  Ellie Danes most assuredly knows how to capture my imagination and maintain it for the whole book.  I like stories that don’t have so much strife and angst.  Rhett and Emily are so well suited and she fits perfectly with him. Such a well written storyline with plenty of love and enough drama just to keep you on your toes.  A wonderful ending too – but no details from me!  get yourself a copy soon and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Boss Daddy: A Virgin CEO Office Romance by Zoey Oliver, Jess Bentley

Mia has always had a crush on her dad’s best friend, Sawyer, but she has never acted upon it.  When she is looking for work experience her dad asks his best friend if he will help out his daughter.  Little did either of them realise what was going to happen!  Sawyer just can’t think of anything but Mia’s curves, her smile, her cleavage, her EVERYTHING but he doesn’t want to do anything that would harm his friendship with her dad. he knows that its totally taboo but he can’t help lusting and fantasying about her. It’s only when they go on a business trip together that emotions overtake them and what’s been started can’t be stopped. No spoilers from me – but be realistic this is a story by Jess Bentley [and Zoey Oliver who is a new author to me]. I have read every story that has been available to Amazon.co.uk so I really know her writing style very well.  This storyline , whilst not unique, is certainly very entertaining, and I really enjoyed ‘meeting’ Sawyer and Mia who were so good for each other. her Dad’s reaction towards their relationship at the end was just that of the perfect Dad.  The passion and then love between Mia and Sawyer was lovely to ‘see’ emerge as their story unfolded.  Will they get their HEA?  Will her Dad give them his blessing? Or is this just an office fling?  To find out you need  to grab yourself a copy of this romance and read the scorching hot love story for yourselves – warning- have your fans set to MAX cool, switch off your phones, have a long cool drink handy and lock the doors so you have no interruptions. A great easy and quick read full of passion. I received a reader’s copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. However, I purchased my own copy as I enjoyed the book so much and to support the authors.  The bonus book, ‘Owned’ is a great read too!! Get it whilst you can as it is limited and not published anywhere else.

Her Best Men: A Brother’s Best Friends Reverse Harem by Rye Hart

Katie has always loved her brother’s best friend, and their neighbours, the O’Conner brothers, When they were younger they all went camping and they kept her safe but she was way too young for them and taboo.  Now Katie comes home after college all ready to get married and the O’Conners are now even more handsome, gorgeous, charming and sexy than ever before and they still want her [and they’re used to sharing women!][. When Katie finds out her rat of a fiancée has been cheating on her she dumps him asap and the brothers are ready to console her.  Did I mention they are now wildly successful and billionaires??  So the lights are green for go and so they do all FOUR of them want Katie more than ever. But will this just be a one night stand or are they wanting a real relationship forever? To find out you’re going to have to get yourself a copy like I did and be prepared to read it all in one go as Rye Hart captured my imagination with her terrific storyline and kept me engrossed with the characters right to the end. Wonderful characters that are believable and I certainly hoped for a HEA for them.

The Marriage Mistake: A Billionaire Hangover Romance by Natalie Knight, Daphne Dawn

   A Long Courtship For Sammi

There should be a warning with this book that it is seriously funny!  Sammi is one feisty young lady who is about to be married to someone called Eggbert(!?!) and she’s having her hen party a few days early in Bancock and they are most assuredly sticking to ONE drink only! However, one thing leads to another and… The next day Sammi finds herself in bed with Locke  who is one of her colleagues and has been secretly in love with her for over three years and really doesn’t want her to marry anyone but him.  All her other friends have had similarly embarrassing and awkward moments with other people.  Using their phones they try to piece together what happened the night before but they’re no help.  This story will make you laugh and should serve as a reason why you shouldn’t get rip-roaring drunk as you’re never too sure about what you will or won’t do.  With  plenty of passion to heat you up and twists and turns that could make you dizzy, The Marriage Mistake is one book that will keep you entertained from beginning to end and keep you remembering and smiling for quite some time to come.  I thought this was a very clever story with unexpected twists and the consistent mischievous smile of Locke that drives Sammi wild 😉  Get yourself a copy and enjoy!   I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Joanna [aka Jo or JoJo] leaves her home small town of Willowdale in Florida to follow her career in New York City. But her best friend, DiDi, has an accident and breaks her leg and so Joanna steps in to help her put an art exhibition on in their home town. It is there that she meets the latest Doctor.  This young doctor has taken over the practice from his dad and he gives ‘lady treatment’ for those women who need it! Doctor Stud Sturgill runs into Joanna at the gallery and he is instantly attracted to her and can ‘just tell’ that she needs some of his very special treatment as he ‘knows’ that she’s never had an O obviously due to all her stress that she has bottled up deep inside of herself.  Now guess what happens !!  Whereas his treatment for the other women of the town is cold, his for Joanna is red hot scorching.  Joanna is embarrassed  and rushes out but then he decides that he just must take her prescription to her personally. One thing leads to another and then he leaves on a mission.  He has, however, left a little special ‘gift’ that’s going to make his/her appearance in about nine months.  What will happen to them? Will he come back and they have a HEA? I loved this story although I found DiDi to be a bit of an irritant after her initial introduction.  But Jess Bentley has really done a great job with this endearing and very hot story!  It made me laugh so much and Stud and Joanna are just such fun together. I must make mention of the epilogues are there really completed the story for me. This is a must have story that I will definitely be re-reading in the future as it is just so good! Grab a copy whilst you can!  I received a free reader’s copy and voluntarily leave my honest opinion.
