In fact, she’s grown up into the  most delectable and stunning young woman that he wants to wrap up and have for himself alone.  She’s wearing the same clothes as the suspect so she points them in the right direction and they catch the drug mule. But his captain is mad at him for not following orders and he is suspended! Unbelievable!  However, it does mean that he has time to pursue Quinn and make sure that she’s on board with being HIS forever. Her brother might have something to say about it but she’s more important.  Instant love and oh such a glorious read that only Flora Ferrari can give. She composes the most compelling stories of instant love around and makes her characters so likeable, loveable, realistic and fun in witty storylines that draw you in and keep me coming back for more. My Last Chance: (A Single Mom Secret Baby Second Chance Love Story) by Weston Parker

  Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~ Weston

Oh boy!!  Did I want to give a few slaps and shakes to Sean, our ‘hero’ in this book.  He lived next door to Lana for years as they were growing up and she had a crush on him.  They have a ‘moment’ in a hot tub after his disastrous prom night but he tells her to keep it a secret and tell no one. So she does. She’s really hurt by his behaviour and he ignores her for the next few weeks before he goes off to college.  Move forward six years and they have both altered.  She’s now refines, polished and a confident, feisty young woman with a six year old son called Peter [no dad in the picture – hint hint!]  She’s a web designer and she has an app for Parents that she wants to fully create and launch so she goes to a very successful company, Burbank Marketing, which is owned and run by Sean [but she doesn’t know that till she attends an interview with him]. Both plead later that they recognised each other but pretend they don’t.  Sean is the first hero of Weston Parker’s that I don’t like. He’s a really arrogant so and so [if you know what I mean] and shows no remorse for leaving Lana to be pregnant on her own, give birth and have no support as she brought up his son. She is an absolute star and he was a pathetic jerk too busy being a womanising playboy.  I felt that he needed to grovel and beg for hers and Peter’s forgiveness but it never really got to the stage that he and Peter were formally introduced as father and son. I really think it would have been improved if there had been an epilogue a while later showing that Sean had matured, was not an arrogant playboy any more and that he was a loving dad to Peter and a faithful lover to Lana.  Having said that, Weston writes beautifully and I will be first in line for his next book as I love his stories.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

  Definitely recommended! Pure Passion

Amy Brent has composed another bets selling, romantic story that you will want to re-read in the future as it is just so good. With passion off the charts and mystery and bruised feelings can this couple, with their son, have a HEA? To find out you’re going to have to get yourself a copy of Amy’s latest books and read it for yourself. It is a real page turner, easy to read, that is filled with such wonderful descriptions of the characters that I can almost ‘see’ them in my mind’s eye and, of course, a fun romantic steamy read. Saving Emma by R.R. Banks

  Magnificent – Film Rights??

When is R.R. Banks going to have his books submitted to be turned into films??  This is yet another that I would go to see!  This is so much more than any mere romance.  We have an addict recovering from his injuries that stopped his football career and changed his life forever more.  Brice turned his life around and invested wisely and turned himself intro a very successful businessman.  When he hears that his best friend’s dad has died, who helped him as a young boy/man to  get into professional football, he knows that he must support his friend and show his respect to the man who was so important to him.  Whilst there he also sees Emma, his best friend’s younger sister who has now blossomed in every way his x-rated mind could possibly imagine but she looks at him with almost hate in her eyes which confounds him.|Emma had crushed on Brice from afar whilst young [way too young for him at the time] but now the age difference is meaningless and he’s even more gorgeous than ever. But he never came back and she feels so betrayed.  meanwhile she has lost her job and is in dire straights and when Brice hears about it [all the while her using her nickname for him which is ‘a@@hole’!  He plays hero to her when her abusive ex attacks her and she tends to Brice’s wounds at home. This is when the story really heats up. This is a Book by R.R. Banks  so when I say heat – I mean HEAT as in scalding!  There is certainly plenty of passion between them but she immediately regrets it. But Brice wants more. He’s never felt this way about any woman before but she won’t give him a chance so he’s obviously going to have to be sneaky to get a second chance with her…and he knows exactly what he’s going to do!  Brice is no fool  but he’s  a man on a mission and that’s to see if there is any chance of something being very real between him and Emma. He’s got the money to make things happen so he can solve her employment issue and help his business acumen simultaneously.  But Emma has a real ‘story’ that her previous editor wouldn’t touch. But her fabulous new editor is a woman of vision and she thinks Emma is worth the risk so encourages her. But it’s not long before threats are received.  With kidnapping, new passions, real love, mystery, more murders and a creepy break in.  Who is behind these murders?  Is Emma too close to the truth? Can Brice win her love and keep her safe??  If there is one book that you buy this year – this must be it!!!!!  Magnificent.  This book illustrates perfectly why R.R.   A Suspenseful Romance

This is more than just a romance – it is suspenseful, a who done it, a second chance at love, and a vengeful person who is determined to hurt others.  So wonderfully written that I was virtually sitting on the edge of my seat “desperately” needing to know the who, what, why and did they survive? Hating My New Boss by B. B. Hamel

  Will She Let Him Back In Her Heart?

Remi and Justin’s family were neighbours and they were best friends.  Until they weren’t. She didn’t know that his father had cheated her dad out of a deal worth millions of dollars or that he had blackmailed Justin into choosing either to stay friends with her or else.  He left and she doesn’t hear from him for ten years when her boss, Diane, gets fired and the promotion she was going for is given to Justin.  Now Justin didn’t realise how heartbroken Remi was when he dumped her but he can tell by her  attitude towards him that she hates him and he doesn’t want that at all!  He never forgot her and as he discovers she is even more gorgeous than she was before, he knows that he must get her to see him in another light – with him as the starring role hero for her.  B.B. Hamel is a fabulous author who creates fascinating storylines with characters that I’d love to know. With feisty heroines and gorgeous heroes that will do everything they can to make their soul mate happy.   With great attention to detail to make these people come ‘alive’.  I loved the twist and witty banter between the two of them and how they had to overcome the mistrust and hurt from the past.  Certainly the new client is interesting to say the very least!  As for Justin and Remi  – steam heat.  The chemistry between them is off the charts and cannot be ignored no matter how much Remi tries to at the beginning.  You will know if you’ve read anything by B.B. Hamel before that she writes with real passion and her love scenes get steamy so you may well need to turn on your fans /ac. This story was wonderful and I lost some sleep so that I could finish reading it. But it was well worth it. It was engaging, fast paced, with great banter and plenty of twists and love to keep the reader fully focussed  story and will be re-reading it in the future as it was so good.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

  Getting To Know You

So let’s see: Meg Ripley – author; Bear Shifter – brilliant!; Fantastic storyline – check; great characters -superb! Steam heat -0 WHEW – turn on the fans/ac. Alexis is a new college graduate and is wanting to see the world. So she gets a fantastic job as a park ranger in Alaska and as part of this she gets a free cruise on a ship too. But it’s when she meets Cooper, her trainer , that things heat up! Tall, gorgeous and swoon worthy and did I mention that he’s a bear shifter?? They can’t deny their passion as the room heats up whenever they’re together but he isn’t prepared to leave his clan and she’s off to see the world. What is going to happen to them? Can they really ignore their feelings for each other?? And then there is the surprise! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I have loved each and every one of the books that I’ve read by Meg Ripley and this is exactly the same. The writing is relaxed and smoothly flowing through the pages and she drew me into their ‘lives’ leading me not to want to put the book down. It is a real page turner with wonderful, 3-dimensional characters that I loved. Most DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

Billion Dollar Man by Ali Parker

  A Brilliant Suspenseful Story!

I ‘discovered’ Ali Parker’s books last year and have been addicted to them ever since.  I love the way she weaves a story.  The way she develops her characters that are so believable and 3-dimensional. The way they pull at your heart strings and I always end up liking them [well apart from the obvious unpleasant ones ]. In this  book I loved Mila as the heroine. The hero was Ben, who is her brother’s best friend so obviously their love would break the ‘bro code’.  She had a crush on him as a child but nothing happened. He always wanted to be a firefighter but work in New York pulled him away. When his parents and ‘uncle’ die in suspicious circumstances he gets a chance to come back home and they reconnect.  Passions overtake them but then he feels that he ‘has to’ leave town to protect her.  Ben did annoy me at times because he need to be more assertive and not floundering in his thoughts. This is a longer story than normal but it was so full of what was going on that it didn’t seem long at all to me.  This is a real page turner and you won’t want to put it down.  W|ell worth purchasing so that I can re-read it whenever I want to do!  Most definitely recommended!

Giving Her A Baby: A Second Chance Romance by J.L. Beck

  Will She Recognise Him?

Silas and Winter’s past is not happy and due to many misunderstandings.  He has not stopped thinking of her throughout the years and she hasn’t really lived her life to the full because of their past.  When she decides to ‘move on’ and become a mum via an ad, Silas sees the ad as he’s already planning how to get back into her life and knows that no one but him is going to be her baby daddy!  But the tale of lies that are used don’t always make things right and could lead to more  problems. When she walks in on him with appearing to be kissing a woman she leaves, never wanting to see him again.  Can Silas fix this?  I know at that point i the book I was certainly upset when it happened as things seemed to be improving so much for them. J.L. Beck is a terrific author and this book perfectly illustrates why she is one of the US’s top best selling authors.  Beautifully written with great passion and fantastic detail in these wonderfully developed characters.  I really enjoyed this storyline and look forward to reading many more of her books!

Billionaire Biker’s Secret Baby: A Bad Boy Romantic Suspense by Weston Parker

  Steam, Sizzling Heat!

This is going to get you so involved in Ax and Sabrina’s story that you won’t be able to put the book down liker me.  Lost sleep but who cares!!  Such another fabulous story by Weston Parker whose writing just gets better with every story he composes for us, his fans.  Sabrina and Ax were high school sweethearts but he went into the military and lost touch.  Then his good for nothing brother got him flung in prison for something he didn’t do so Ax is now out for revenge until he meets up with Sabrina again and makes a startling discovery.  She had never let him know that he was going to be a dad!!!  Everything changes when this second chance with Sabrina and a family falls into his lap – one that he isn’t going to let go of anyway at all.  I loved the interaction between Ax and Sabrina and he is such a good dad.  But his brother??? Oh boy – nope not giving you a clue – you’ll just have to read this for yourself as Weston is a true expert at this art whereas I am a mere mortal.  This is one book that you’ve just got to get and read asap..
