My First Love: A Single Mom Bad Boy Love Story by Weston Parker, Ali Parker

   His Only Love

Emmett loved Autumn had known each other virtually their whole lives as their families were next door neighbours and they became the best of friends.  Then Jason’s family moves to town and he becomes part of their friendship.  he’s the one that asks Autumn to date [not Emmett 🙁  ].  Emmett is broken hearted when She and Jason marry, Emmett even walking her down the aisle, even though he knows that Jason is a cheating rat bag. Emmett and Autumn don’t declare their feelings for one another as they’re not sure the other has the same feelings.  So Emmett joins the marines and leaves but not a day dawns without him thinking of her. meanwhile Autumn and Jason have had a gorgeous sweet little girl called Penny but she is also heartbroken when her parents divorce because of his repeated infidelities.  Emmett is badly wounded in Afghanistan and his brother asks for him to be brought home as they’re not sure whether he will survive.  The local newspaper prints the story with pics of the local hero back home and Autumn knows that she must go and see him as she still loves him too.  There has been so much ‘water under the bridge’ but these two wonderful people deserve a chance at real love. Weston Parker has penned an amazing story here for us that will pull at your heart strings. I’m pleased that Jason didn’t really appear much in the story as I disliked him intensely. Please  get yourself a copy of this book as has been written with such caring, emotional feeling or how love can survive the years and the wait is always well worth it. There are some twists in the storyline that I did wonder whether Emmett and Autumn would get together but I was so happy to read the ending. Weston is a terrific author that knows how to create a unique storyline with , mostly, amazing characters that you grow to love throughout the book.  My attention was caught right at the beginning and maintained it right through to the end just as all good books do.

In Bed with the Devil: A Billionaire Second Chance Romance by Tia Siren

   A Second Chance At Love

Ava’s family ran a small hotel chain and were doing well. Mason’s family ran a larger hotel and resort centres.  But Ava and Mason were high school sweethearts and when they were 18 years old they became fully intimate and it’s a great read with plenty of passion. But his family, the Yorks, didn’t want the two teenagers to be together and broke them up. In fact, they set out to destroy Ava’s family business and succeeded.   Ava went to law school in NY to be able to go after the Yorks for stealing their business and to pay for her schooling she does part time modelling. Mason went to college to learn business with the goal to take over his family business even though he really isn’t interested in doing so. He spots her ten years later after they broke up when he sees her modelling in a mattress store but before he can talk to her she vanishes. However, he is determined to win her back as he still loves her and she is even more stunning. So he tracks her down via her agent and sets up a fake photo shoot so he can sit and talk to her and win her back.  Now Mason has found her again he isn’t going to waste this second chance at love with Ava. With red hot, blazing chemistry that practically sizzles whenever they are together, Tia Siren has composed this story for us to enjoy. This is a must have read that I had to read in one go as I had to know whether they would get their HEA and her family get justice. To find out what happens you need to get a copy of this for yourself, make sure that your fan is in working order and set to MAX COOL as this is one hot story.  I look forward to Tia’s next book 🙂

Lust to Love: A Second Chance Romance by Mia Ford, Bella Winters

   Should She Trust Him?

Oh this is so sweet, romantic, passionate and oh such a wonderful story by Mia Ford and Bella Winters that is a must have read.  Prudence suffers abuse in childhood form her father so ends up in care. There she meets Logan who is so very much her real life hero and the man she grows to love in the romantic sense however much she realises that they cannot be together. But when it’s time for her to leave they both struggle against their feelings.   I loved both these two characters as we were allowed to see them become friends, trusting one another to real seep feelings. Logan was so good and caring and he was a real example of how a real man fights his feelings because they were not appropriate under the circumstances and then their passions cannot be ignored and they fall into an intimate relationship with love. But he gets scared and breaks up with her to put distance between them and he goes and uses a ‘f*ck buddy’!!!!!  Well that put me off him completely. It was so out of character for him with all that had be written about him before. If he was so in love with her why did he go straight to a ‘f*ck buddy’ – just didn’t make sense to me as I would have thought his feelings would have prevented him from being with anyone else.  To carry on with the rest of the book I had to try and just blank that part out of the book – by trying to do that the rest of the book is perfect as, to me, him being with someone else when supposedly in love with Prudence was cheating.  Prudence is a well developed character and has suffered so much bad treatment of those who supposedly love her abusing or not loving her as she deserves.  Despite Logan’s behavior [me ignoring that aspect of the book], I did love this story which is very unique and gives us so much insight to this caring young woman. Beautifully written by Mia Ford and Bella Winters and I strongly urge you to get your own copy as there is a special, unpublished story inside as a bonus. I received a reader’s copy and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

He’s Back: A Second Chance Romance by Aria Ford

   Where has He Been?

Ainsley loved Drake but he left without a word. Nothing. Her heart was broken and over the years it didn’t begin to mend.  Then a chance meeting brings them back together. Their feelings are unchanged. She is still in love with him but doesn’t think she can go through losing him again and she knows he isn’t telling her the truth about why he left.  Drake wants to help the world and children especially and cannot tell Ainsley what he’s been up to. Will he just leave her again without a word and will she be able to cope with a shattered heart?  The passion between them is real but is it as important as other aspects of their lives?  A great story with plenty of steamy sex and suspense. I look forward to Aria’s next book as I’m sure it will be just as good and will keep me entertained form beginning to end. get yourself a copy too! Room Service by Summer Cooper

Trent’s mum died and it was then just him and his dad.  But his dad wasn’t very good at helping Trent, who was a child, through this emotional turmoil and just runs off and gets married again, starts a new family without including him.  Trent is very bitter.  meanwhile Jessie’s mum and dad both work for Trent’s family and she has always had a crush on him. She told him that she loved him and the jerk just laughed at her. Poor Jessie and Trent was even more vile by then trying to get her parents sacked!  Years later, Trent has made his own successful business and Jessie is now a chef at one of his dad’s hotels and, what’s more, she is good friends with Emily his stepsister.  His dad wants him back with them and Emily and family pretend his dad is poorly and wants to see him.  Trent rushes back and sees Emily and Jessie first.  He is astonished at how stunning Jessie is now, but he’s still got that awful jerk inside him and is rude to her.  When he realises that she’s avoiding him he deliberately  sets her up to come and see him.  The chemistry that Jessie felt all those years ago to Trent have not faded. If anything with maturity she feels even more for him but this time Trent reveals how attractive he finds her and one thing leads to another… STEAM HEAT plus lots of passion.  Next day she is gone and Trent can’t believe it. Why did she leave him? Does she not feel the way he does?  he’s never felt this way before?  Summer Cooper is one brilliant author who creates superb storylines with amazing characters such as Jessie and Trent.  I thought Emily was a valuable addition to the story. It really starts off rather sadly and it is obvious that Trent and his dad need to have a very serious talk together.  Why Trent was such an idiot to Jessie and for him to even hope that she could forgive him and give him a second chance?  This is an emotional story in so many ways but is so wonderfully written with sensitivity and passion by Summer.  I was hooked on the story from the beginning right to the end so much so that, whilst I did receive a free reader’s copy and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of the story here, I bought my own copy to support the author and because the bonus stories are fantastic and I’m looking forward to finishing them this weekend.

Second Chance on St. Patrick’s Day: A Billionaire Romance by Mia Ford

   Luck Of The Irish

One hot shot banker goes slumming on New Year’s Eve and goes to an Irish bar and is bedazzled by a feisty and stunning young woman and knows that he just has to have her!  She’s never had a one night stand before as she’s a good little catholic girl. But this man is different and it’s one time only so why not? They both give obvious fake names and have the most spectacular night of passion together.  His real name is Connor and he is a high flying banker and her name is Katie and she is a lawyer.  They do meet two months later when her uncle asks for her advice about a business deal with Connor. he asks her to spend the weekend with him and she agrees.  They don’t really go over the business deal – as surely he wouldn’t rip her uncle off. Now would he?  Mia Ford has really pulled out all the stops with this terrific storyline and two charismatic characters.  Is Connor being genuine?  Do they have more than mere lust between them?  Can she trust him in any way at all?  To find out you need to get a copy of this for yourself as it is a book that you won’t want to put it down until you’ve finished it  Then, like me want to read it again!  Can’t wait for her next story!    Hero To The Rescue

Set in the lovely small town of Ivory.  Firefighter and bad boy biker, Dorian had all the woman throwing themselves at him but he was only doing what he felt right in his work – he wasn’t a hero. he just did the right thing to the best of his ability. However, he has a chance meeting with an old classmate whom he never looked at twice when they were in school together. But Gina has grown up in the most delightful way and the chemistry between them is sizzling but he’s not going to out out the flames between them. Oh no!!  He’s going to do his best to fan those flames as Gina is something very special and he’s never felt this way before about any woman.  All is going well as they start getting to know one another better when tragedy happens.  Will this make them stronger or tear them apart??  This book is book 3 in the Black Reapers Motorcycle Club but can certainly be read as a standalone.  I hadn’t read anything by Jade Kuzma before this but I was really impressed with her style of writing, her attention to detail and the way she creates her characters and they develop over the book.  Thus, I will now be reading books One and Two now as book 3 was so compelling.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Triple Trouble (The Viera Triplets) by Nicole Casey

  Triple The LOVE

This is a fabulous collection called the Triple Trouble – featuring the three books about The Viera Triplets by Nicole Casey. This is the first time that you could buy them all together. So if you’ve read them before you will know how good they were separately but now you can read them all together. I really thought these individual stories were terrific but together they are fabulous and not to be missed!

Dominating Vyolet

Vyolet has had a crush on her Dad’s best friend, Evan, for as long as she could remember. She is the oldest of triplets and is now a schoolteacher and Evan’s niece is one of her pupils.  He’s back in town to see her dad and is mesmerised by her when he sees her all grown up.  He knows he shouldn’t desire her but she’s gorgeous and he can’t help himself. Her parents try to stop them [or rather her mother] but they’re in love and will get through any obstacle to have their own HEA together.  I loved Evan and Vyolet was just perfect for him. yes he was quite a bit older than her but they are just so wonderful together that age makes no difference.  I really enjoyed their story.
