17 December 2017 –  If you haven’t read any of Juliana Conner’s books before, then WHY?? And secondly, this is the book that will persuade you to become a real fan of her stories as, for a limited time, you get the ‘Sold at the Auction: Virgin and Billionaire Romance Series Box Set’ by her as a bonus when you purchase Sold on Christmas Eve so it is an absolute bargain and wonderful series to read. I have reviewed it before and gave it a 5 stars rating as it was so good. In this latest story we meet Mariah who is a virgin and student who is shy and needs to live a little. Her best friend , Jane, persuades her to go for a short holiday to Aspen to ski and have fun. Whilst there they meet Paul, who is a multi billionaire and is ‘recovering’ from a break up with his cheating ex. he and his friends invite Mariah and Jane to The Exchange Club that night – not telling them what sort of club it is! When Mariah and Jane get there, there was no way that Mariah was going to miss out seeing Paul again, they discover how women can auction themselves off to the highest bidder. Mariah decides this is the right time to get rid f her v-card and hopes that Paul will bid and win her. That he does and this is when the fun really starts for them both and exceeds both their expectations. Juliana has woven a clever story here with believable characters that I loved as Mariah and Paul are so much fun and genuinely nice people who are so obviously attracted to one another and are ‘good’ together. I liked ‘hearing’ their thoughts and really rooted for them. Yes, it may be a bit far fetched how she just happened to meet a handsome billionaire with the personality to match but this is a story and all sorts of things can and do happen in them for our entertainment. The scenes between Mariah and Paul are passionate and caring and he can’t get over how his feelings for her are so strong on such a short acquaintance. But who cares? It’s Christmas. It’s written with passion and the words flow beautifully . I read this story in one go as I just didn’t want to put it down so I now need to catch up on my sleep, but it was so worth it. The chemistry between Paul and Mariah was off the charts and all leading to a HEA. Obviously there are some twist but you’re going to have to find out by reading the story for yourself

3 February 2018 I read this book when it was a bonus story when I purchased ‘Sold On Christmas Eve’ by Juliana Conners and enjoyed it so much! 3) Sold as a Domme on Valentine’s Day – Willingly Her Sub!

9 February 2018 – If this is the first book that you’ve read by Juliana Conners then let me tell you that you are in for a fantastic, red hot read with plenty of sizzling chemistry between the two main protagonists, Jordan and Bianca.  If, like me, you’re a fan of her books then  you know what to expect. Bianca doesn’t want to lose her virginity to a read hot alpha male but she does want a strong alpha male to let her Dominate him!! Jordan is a red, scorching hot real billionaire alpha male who knows when he sees Bianca at the Club where women can auction themselves off to the highest bidder that he is going to have her. He knows that as a strong man that he also needs a strong feisty beautiful curvy young woman such as Bianca to dominate him  he also knows that she’s going to be giving her v-card to him willingly and enjoying it too! Juliana writes with passion throughout this great storyline and brings Jordan and Bianca to ‘life’ before your very eyes.  She certainly captured my attention on page one and maintained it throughout the story. As usual with one of Juliana’s stories, I didn’t put the book down until I had finished the story it was so good. With great characters that we ‘heard’ their POV it really brought the plot alive. I loved the way that Juliana writes so that the words just seem to flow across the page building up all the details to make the characters seem so real and I genuinely liked them.  Bianca and Jordan were just so good together and as well as passion by the bucket full there was also so much more such as trust, protectiveness and a deep understanding and love. Yes you know you’re going to need to have your air con or fans set to maximum cool as this book is HOT but it’s just so worth while the little discomfort.  I’m now looking forward to reading her next romantic adventure as patiently as I can.  I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

and 4) a bonus novella exclusive to this box set, Sold in Aspen – this is set about a year from the first of the SOLD stories and is told from Paul and Mariah’s POV. However, what makes this really great is that it includes all three couples and we get to ‘see’ how their HEA’s are continuing which is a rare treat. I cannot encourage you too much to get your own copy of this wonderful bundle by Juliana Conners where you will find interesting storylines, fantastic characters that may make you swoon 😉 and certainly will make the temperature rise whilst you’re reading them – so have your fans/air con at the ready to turn to max cool and away you go.  I received a free reader’s copy and leave my honest opinion of it here.  Enjoy!!! First Love: A Single Dad Second Chance Romance by Amy Brent

   Does He Deserve A Second Chance With Her?

This is a different type of story for Amy Brent in as much as I really thought the so called hero was not worthy of Melissa the heroine.  Brandon had broken her heart when he went to uni and promised her that he would be back for her. Needless to say he didn’t. he didn’t even make an excuse why.  This heart break for Melissa was the start of her life with depression. She did try to move on and married a wonderful man and they had a beautiful little girl but then he died in a tragic accident and Melissa blames herself for his death as she is so depressed. Her doctor suggests that she try therapy and he suggests that she makes an appointment to see the renowned, Dr Brandon Black.  Brandon is now very successful and uses women for sex and nothing else- no emotions or feelings whatsoever.  That is why I, quite frankly, detested him I would have advised Melissa to run in the opposite direction. However, she goes and this is where the story STARTS.  I found this to be an emotionally upsetting story and I felt so very, very sorry for Melissa as the only bright part of her life is her gorgeous little girl whom she loves above everything.  This is so beautifully written by Amy with such compassion that I was drawn to Melissa’s story right from the very beginning.  Melissa had a long and difficult journey to struggle through and it is treated with great sensitivity and woven into a believable and realistic storyline.  This was a tremendous journey to ‘walk’ with Melissa and I believe that the ending was the right one. I would have liked an epilogue in say five years time to see if the HEA really was that and that they did stay together happily.  I received a free reader’s copy of this book and will be purchasing my own copy to support the author and as I want my own copy of the never published before story by Amy that is included.

One More Time: A Second Chance Romance by Rye Hart

   Love On The High Sea

Rhett and Chanel were high school sweethearts till he broke her heart on prom night. The next day he left to join the Navy but never forgot about her.  Meanwhile Chanel carried on as best as she could although he still held her heart – however broken it was when he cheated on her as she was lead to believe.  It’s a ten year class reunion but Rhett has done very well for himself and is now very wealthy so pays for the reunion to be on a cruise ship.  he conveniently has the cabin right next to Chanel. They agree to take part in an auction and have abet between them as to who will get the bigger bid.  I loved Rhett from the beginning but Chanel took a while to get used to her as she seemed so emotionally immature.   He wants to do anything he can to make things right between them as he loves her and the more time he spends with her the deeper his love grows.  This story is a whirlwind of emotions from heartbreak at the beginning to hope, to lust, to suspense as there is a stalker aboard, to passion, to hopefully ever lasting love.  Their best friends Anna and Tommy were interesting characters to say the least and I found them very irritating but their hearts were in the right place.  The bonus story involves stepbrother and stepsister and is very steamy.  Rhett and Chanel in any room causes the air to sizzle as the chemistry between them is so HOT so be prepared to ‘experience’ passionate encounters between the two of them. I loved this story and the bonus book and look forward to rye’s next romantic adventure.  Beautifully written by Rye Hart with great character development, some great misunderstandings to be rectified, suspense and the agony of passion not acted upon.  I received a free copy of this book and leave my honest review of it here.  I encourage you to grab a copy of this yourself and enjoy the romantic adventures.

Bride Wanted: A Virgin and Billionaire Fake Fiancé Romance by Eva Luxe, Juliana Conners

   She Needed Him To Rescue Her

This is another book in the Wanted Series by Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners.  It is a standalone story with two lovers who were high school sweethearts but broken up by lies.  Wendy and her dad are having hard times since his accident and she is desperate when she meets Eliza.  She is a ‘matchmaker’ of sorts for wealthy clients and says that she knows that she can help Wendy and very soon.  Meanwhile, Sam who is her high school sweetheart is now very wealthy following an accident and wise investments but he needs a wife to finalise a contract and he goes to Eliza for assistance.  yes, you’ve guessed it!  Sam and Wendy are paired.  Now I’m not going to give away any spoilers as I don’t write anywhere near as well as Eva and Juliana so I won’t even try.  What you can expect is a sweet love story with secrets, danger, a crazed ex, fraud, a very religious partner and a HEA.  Eva and Juliana are superb authors who really know how to draw you into their storyline, they give you characters such as Sam and Wendy that you like and want to get their HEA, they also give you some very interesting twists and turns that will keep you on the edges of your seats as well as reaching for the fan to set to MAX COOL during the red hot love scenes. Sam will make you swoon as he is just so gorgeous both inside and out and Wendy deserves to have happiness. I was so pleased the way things turned out for her dad and with what happened to Sam’s original partner. I encourage you without reservation to grab yourself a copy of this book and I hope you enjoy the story as much as I have.  This is a story that I will be re-reading as it’s so good.  Remember also that there are some extra bonus stories too that are there for you to enjoy too!  I’ll be buying a copy of this on pay day! I received a free readers copy of this book and leave my honest opinion of it here.

Unbroken: Virgin and Bad Boy Second Chance Romance by Haley Pierce

   A Chance To  Make Things Right

Geni never got over her first love, Silas St Clair, but he left their hometown and is a successful NFL quarterback for the Pittsburg Steelers.  She always wanted to leave but is still working in Billy’s bar. When Silas has an injury the last thing she expects is for him to come home to heal.  But he does as he’s never forgotten her either.  Haley Pierce has created this fantastic romantic comedy for us letting us in on so many of their secrets and misunderstandings that tore them apart but can they overcome them or is it too late for a second chance at love and a HEA??  This is a fast paced story that you will not want to put down Silas and Geni are just so suited and obviously belong together and I really enjoyed the journey of their story.  Both complex characters that were totally believable and endearing. As it’s one of Haley’s stories there is bound to be some steamy scenes that you’ll need your fans set to max cool and be prepared to laugh out loud.  A really witty and sweet story that I’ll be wanting to read again. If this is the first story that you’ve read by her then this will certainly make you a fan too.  I encourage you to get yourself a copy and prepare yourself to relax and enjoy. Inseparable: A Second Chance Romance by Mia Ford

  Will She Forgive Him ?

A night at a restaurant and her best friend fails to turn up for dinner so Amanda, still hungry, goes and sits at the bar to eat. It’s there that she notices the most handsome man she’s ever seen before smiling and watching her. he asks if he may sit next to her and introduces himself as Nathan.  The next thing they know is that the restaurant is closing for the night and she offers him a ‘drink’ at her place. Now this is a story by Mia Ford. If this is the first book by her that you’ve read then this was a fantastic choice and you’ve got so many more brilliant books to catch up on. For those of you like me who are fans of her writings we know that we’re in for one hot and steamy romantic novel with plenty of chemistry between Nathan and Amanda who are such interesting and well developed characters.  This is their love story and you’re probably going to lose sleep as you may very well read it through in one go as it is a compulsive read that is fast paced. he’s very wealthy and he admires her work ethic and she is holding on to her dreams and doing everything in her power to make them come true.  Nathan has secrets just like her and his past makes him not so impulsive in his love life.  I truly did not like at all, Nathan’s so called friend John nor Sarah who is Amanda’s best friend’s little sister as she is just a jealous and poisonous person. Nathan should have checked the facts given to him about Amanda before being a complete and utter jerk. Will she forgive him as things were all going so well?? This is one read that you won’t want to miss.  I read it in one go but have saved the bonus stories including Turned On which is exclusive to this book! I’ve had a peek at it and I’m going to have to check that if there is a spare fan – just in case as it is HOT.

Mr. Always & Forever: A Secret Baby Second Chance Romance by Ashlee Price

   Bad Boy Grows Up 

Ingrid is a journalist and is doing an article on the sex trade and BDSM. To that end she attends a Valentine’s Party and meets Conner [also a journalist but he doesn’t share that with her yet!] Both are very attracted to one another and they get their own private room and indulge in their lust and passions with each other [this is after he has discovered with her sexual crimes happening there and she takes plenty of photos].  They part but he’s taken her camera!!!  What the heck??  It gets even worse when she sees HER article in her paper with HER photos as evidence. Grr someone’s in trouble with a capital T.  Yes, it was Conner who took her camera and he works for the same paper.  She tells him precisely what she thinks he is and then quits and disappears. Years later they meet again when they both turn up for an interview for a new and up and coming magazine.  It is then that he is introduced to Alexa!  Time to grow up fast and try to make amends. But someone is stalking them and they have to keep themselves safe?  Will there be a HEA?  To find out you will need to get a copy of Mr Always & Forever by Ashlee Price. So well written with believable characters – I liked Ingrid as she does try to do the best that she can and Conner, whilst being a real jerk at the beginning, he emerges as her Mr Perfect.  Alexa brings out a side to Conner that we hadn’t seen before and it’s brilliant to see that aspect of his character.  This superb book will be one that I will be re-reading in the future as it’s so good.  I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Mr. Wicked by Maya Hughes

  A Second Chance for Enemies To Lovers

This is a fantastic story my Maya Hughes and is the third in the Mr series.  It can easily be read as a standalone so if you haven’t read the rest – don’t worry as I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!  John and Francesca [Frankie] were at high school together and he asked her out on one date but it all went wrong when she mistook seeing him with another girl.  Since then she has hated him.  He’s a self made man whilst she’s a rich girl who now owns a sex club even though in reality she is quite shy and reserved.  Their mutual best friend has asked them both to be his Best man at his wedding.  Surely they can get along for that day?? In fact they do, so well that they end up have a passionate and steamy night of lust and love making.  But there is a surprise from that night!  Can they become friends or more? Maya has written a great storyline here and John [now known as Grim] and Frankie are so well suited and whenever they’re in the same room the temperature rises and practically sizzles with the chemistry between them.  With a few twists that kept me engrossed in the story all leading up to a terrific and satisfying ending.  I received an advanced readers copy and leave my honest review of it here.  get a copy of this book and I’m sure that you will then want to read the other two books in the series as it is so good.  I’m looking forward to Maya’s next story.

The Baby Plan: A Second Chance Romance by Tia Siren

  I’m Having My Brother’s Best Friend’s Baby 

When I see that Tia Siren has got a brand new book coming out, I just know that I have to get a copy!  I ‘discovered’ her stories at the beginning of 2017 and have caught up with reading all her stories that have been published as ebooks in the UK since and I have honestly loved each and every one of them.  her style of writing which has the words flowing so smoothly across the page. She creates such interesting storylines and fantastic characters that I usually come to love. It is her attention to detail with her character development that makes them seem to ‘come to life’ and seem so real.  In this book our two main protagonists are Lara and Mason. they were childhood sweethearts till her brother, mason’s so called best friend, warned him off his sister and told him to leave her alone.  So Mason did that without telling her why and she was heartbroken.  Years later she is now divorced and desperately wanting a baby having just had a miscarriage. So with no man in her life she decides to have a baby on her own and goes to an IVF Clinic for treatment. Imagine her surprise when the doctor to treat her is Mason! neither has really got over each other and when learning that she wants a baby he sees this as a second chance for them and to have the family they should have had years ago.  So beautifully written with the chemistry sizzling and sparkling whenever mason and Lara are in the same room together.  I loved Mason as he never got over Lara and his determination to overcome her insecurities and lack of trust in him make him a worthy ‘hero’ for her.  Will Lara forgive him? Will she forgive her brother? What will Mason have to do to win the heart of his childhood sweetheart? I can’t wait for Tia’s next story!

The Valentines Day Proposal by Bella Winters

  Does He Deserve A Second Chance?

Lola is a 22 year old young woman who hasn’t had an easy life. First her mum died and now her dad has MS and so she is struggling to keep their farm in business. To keep herself sane she sings at the local bar in the small town where she lives. one night young and very wealthy 24 year old Brandon who is working for his dad’s construction company on a development in town and he is intrigued by her when he hears her sing. The chemistry is off the charts and the flirting is really advanced flirting that they’ve both majored in.  One thing leads to another and they spend a passionate night together that doesn’t feel like a one night stand even though they both know he will be going back to the city when the development is completed. But they get closer until he starts a fight and she finds out that he has gone! Bella Winters just writes more powerfully with fascinating characters. For example, I thought that Brandon was rather immature in the first part but later on when they meet again it is gratifying to see how he has matured. I liked the way she alternated writing from different perspectives and in the later chapters I loved how Brandon and Lola were together and seemed to be on track.  There is angst in this story but it’s also about maturity, realising when you’ve made  a major error and trying to convince that special person that you deserve another chance at love.  Beautifully written by Bella and I look forward with anticipation for her next red hot love story!
