Sizzling Tension & A Secret Baby!

Alice was abandoned as a baby  and grew up in foster care with her best friend.  As she grew up she discovered that she was a talented singer and composer. With her friend Sam and two others they form a  band and they get their big chance to lead in the indie band, Obsidian, But the lead singer of it, Connor and he broke her best friends, Lori’s, heart when he broke up with her. SO Alice must try to avoid him at all costs but he seems to want to be with her. His smouldering glances with his sultry deep blue eyes mesmerise her. Can she be true to her friend and have who she wants?  This is a wonderful tale by Amy Brent that you won’t want to put down.  This kept me entertained from first to last page and I will certainly want to re-read it in the future as it’s so good and well written.  Grab a copy for yourself and enjoy!  I received reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.   Treat Yourself To This!

This is one STEAMING HOT collection of alpha billionaire daddies that will make you reach for your fan/ac, lock your door and switch off your phone as you will NOT want to be disturbed whilst reading these red hot stories by R. R. Banks. Now if you haven’t read any of his books before [where have you been???] then prepare yourself for five well written stories about alpha daddies and their feisty females.  These illustrate perfectly why he is one of the top 100 best selling authors in the USA.  He pitches such great storylines that are just that little bit different, great characters [and I loved that some re-appeared in other of the books set in Whisky Hollow. Bearly Friends by Selina Coffey

  A First Class Paranormal Read

I have read many of Selina Coffey’s stories over the last few years but these are my absolute favourites.  Reasons why they are?  Well they are about the paranormal and, in particular, bear shifters that I love to read about. These  stories are so well written with fabulous characters that you will remember long after reading the stories – for example, Hale and Tessa in Book 1  TESSA – A circle of friends is a thing to cherish.  In  Book 2 – CORA she meets the delectable Rhys and Knox [oh my!] and Book 2 – KAIA she meets Zed [all alpha male and ready to love and protect her].  With great storylines and plenty of heat and steam that will have you reaching for your fans/ac to set to max cool.  I had read each of these individually before but just had to re-read them as they are so good. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.  Definitely recommended – a wonderful collection!

Baby for the Brute: A Fake Boyfriend Romance by Penelope Bloom

 Oh My!  Get This Book!

Ana is a mafia princess and her father wants to set her up with a suitable suitor but she doesn’t want that for her life so she claims that she has a boyfriend already. So as he wants to meet him she tells her father that she’s meeting her boyfriend at a coffee shop, but is she to do as she has no boyfriend??   In walks Angelo and, oh my, he is gorgeous! She goes up and he agrees to pretend on the understanding that she will actually go on a date with him.  What neither knows is that they both belong to rival mafia families!!  This latest story by Penelope Bloom will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, unwilling to put your book down until you reach the fantastic conclusion.  The passion between these two lovers is throughout the story and is what keeps them hoping for a HEA with all the discord and the animosity between the two families.  But how is this going to be possible?? Secrets will come out that could make things better or worse?  I loved baby For The Beast, but this is even better and I couldn’t pit it down.  I am really looking forward to reading Penelope’s next romantic adventure!!  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  Not As He Seems

Neela’s sister and her best friend are worried about her as she has no social life and they encourage her to go on a date. But the man she goes on the date with, Enzo, is a Mafia Boss’s son and her father is out to get him. So Enzo does as he is told but then he meets Neela and something happens that he never expected. he fell in love with her.  He’s not going to use her for his father’s nefariousness purposes. he wants her for himself and so he’s going to do all he can to protect her and keep her safe in his club.  How does Neela feel all about this??This is one heck of a romantic and suspenseful story by Penelope Bloom that certainly made an impression on me!  This is the first book that I’ve reviewed for her and I really enjoyed it very much. With a storyline that grabbed my attention straight away and the scenes with Neela and Enzo were dramatic, realistic and very steamy!  you’re going to need your fans/air con on at max cool so be warned.  A brilliant ending and I look forward to reading more stories by her!  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Low Country Daddy: A Surprise Baby Romance by Lexi Whitlow

Jeb is an ex- Marine and is now happily farming for oysters in South Carolina in his business, Sweet Maiden Oysters.  Nothing to tie him down until one morning a baby with his bright green eyes is left on his doorstep and he falls in love with her. Emma may be his but he knew nothing about her till now.  he has no idea what to do so he needs a nanny and who better than Maddie.   he meets Maddie who is a single Mum to Justin, who works in a bar when he goes for food with his friend Stu. Jeb thinks she’s gorgeous but he has Emma now to think of and what he is going to do with her plus Maddie must be taken . But Stu encourages him to ask her out and he finds out that she is single and living in an RV. This could be the perfect arrangement for the two of them plus their children if Maddie becomes his nanny! Attraction between Jeb and Maddie develop quickly and things are going so well when…  Nope no spoilers form me. Let’s just say that this is so much more than I expected and I LOVED this storyline from Lexi Whitlow. This story perfectly illustrates why she is one of the USA’s top best selling authors. Fantastic characters and a storyline that is realistic and no cheating or cliffhanger to top it off.  I didn’t put this down till I’d read it all as it was so compelling.  I cannot give it too much praise.   I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

  Second Chance With Secrets

Eric and Olivia loved each other and had one night of amazing passion and sex. But the next day, he was gone.  They had both suffered a dreadful childhood as a result of their vile fathers. Olivia’s father was the town mayor and abused his position of trust to get rid of Eric by framing him for an accident that he wasn’t involved with but the town took her father’s side and wanted him gone.  Olivia and Eric do keep in touch in secret and she lets him know that his father has died so he returns for the funeral with a little daughter by his side!  That was one of Eric’s secrets, but Olivia has one of her own and he is 12 years old!  A bad boy made good story and back to prove his innocence and claim the love of his life.  I love the way Emily Bishop writes.  She writes with such passion and care so that you almost fall in love with the characters yourself.  I so wanted Olivia and Eric to have their HEA but so much has happened over the years.  But they have one thing that gives them a chance and that is their enduring love and passion for one another.  I couldn’t put this book down until I had completely read it all. it is a fast paced story with oodles of chemistry and and red hot love.  Will Olivia’s father break them up again or will he get jis just reward?  I receive a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. I’m really looking forward to Emily’s next story.

Accidental Husband by Nikki Chase

  Worth Keeping

This is a fun , fast paced story by Nikki Chase that will keep you entertained from page one to the very last page.  It involves Tessa, heroine, going to Las Vegas with her best friend, Claire, and they go out for the evening. The thing is they meet Luke whose attraction to Tessa is obvious and mutual.  The next morning she wakes up in bed with him and married to him too!! Oh heck what has she done?  She wants to escape and get the marriage annulled asap but he turns up at her workplace.  Secrets abound in this humourous story that is light hearted and sexy. Sin City Baby: A Reverse Harem Accidental Marriage Romance by Rye Hart

  Unexpected Love

I started reading Rye Hart’s stories just over a year  year ago when I ‘discovered’  a title with reviews that I liked called “Rock Hard Fake Groom” and I loved her writing style and the genre so I’ve been reading her stories ever since.  This one takes place in Las Vegas which is a city I have found to be full of fun, over the top extravagance and a place I love to visit [No I don’t gamble as I don’t like the odds and I can certainly calculate them].  Sam is there and so are Lauren,her best friend’s, four gorgeous brothers who she has had a crush on most of her life.  They go out and they aren’t treating her like they used to when she was just the little kid next door.  Now they are looking really closely and seeming to enjoy and appreciate all her womanly curves!  They wake up the next morning with a massive hangover, all naked in the same bed, a HUGE sparkling ring on her finger and what looks to be a wedding certificate!! But exactly WHO did she marry?  What will they do?  What will happen when a little secret is revealed??  Oh I think you’re going to love this story as much as I did. beautifully written by Rye and with compassion, plenty of lust, passion, some angst, worry and love. My WARNING alert should also be here as this book is HOT and with four gorgeous men, Sam has plenty of choice! I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.  I bought my own copy as I really enjoyed learning about the Anderson brothers and want to read about the Night With The Walker Brothers which is an exclusive bonus story. I’m really looking forward to Rye’s next romantic adventure.
