Ranger’s Baby Surprise: A Brother’s Best Friend Romance by Violet Paige

  Will She Forgive Him & Give Him A Second Chance?

This is the latest  fun, passionate and fast paced read by Violet Paige.  We meet Jake who is a Ranger and he’s just got back from a mission in which his best friend, Elliot, didn’t make it back.  But Jake promised Elliot that he would help Elliot’s sister, Olivia, and protect her. Meanwhile Olivia is just getting to terms with the loss of her brother when she comes home one day to find a strange big truck in her driveway and a very handsome man on her step. He introduces himself and explains why he is there.  The attraction between them is instantaneous and unexpected. Jake starts to help her fix her house up but the pull of attraction between them over takes them and they end up making passionate love.  Feelings between them develop the longer they spend time together until the unexpected happens and he leaves her without a word. Not a note. NOTHING.  Will Olivia hear form him again? Why did he go? If he does get in touch, will she still be there after her house is sold??  All these questions will be answered when you get yourself your own copy and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.  I confess that I really liked the plot, the two main characters of Olivia and Jake were well developed and it was all going so well until right at the end. I say this as I felt the ending could have been expanded more or even an epilogue added so that we could catch a glimpse of how their HEA was progressing. But, nevertheless, it was still very entertaining and beautifully written  by Violet Paige and I will be looking forward to her next book with anticipation. Mountain Man’s Proposal by Lauren Wood

   What A Catch!

Merle is at college and now has the summer holiday to relax, or in Merle’s case, make some money to help her tuition at college.  So Merle has been diving for years and she enjoys it – especially the peace once that she is down below and the peacefulness is a very wonderful experience for her.  So when she hears about jobs going in Alaska for divers wanted there to dive for gold she applies and is offered the job.  When she gets there the man who is supposed to be her boss doesn’t appear at first and she meets Charlie instead.  Now Charlie knows the instant he sees her that he wants her and that he will save her from going to work for her boss who is usually drunk.  But Merle is fair and gives the guy a chance but she is freaked that he isn’t sober whilst he is supposedly looking out for her whilst she’s down on the ocean bed so she goes to see Charlie and he offers her a job with him instead which she gladly accepts as she’s very attracted to him too.  In Nome, everyone knows everyone else’s business and when Charlie goes out on a boat with Merle the next day they are all astonished as he hasn’t been on the water for quite some time. But Charlie wants to be there for her and it is just as well he does, as he saves her life.  Whenever they are alone the atmosphere heats up and the passion between them erupts.  Charlie is worried that other men will want to take her from him but in an incident in the fish restaurant , and his friends restaurant, Merle shows him that he has nothing to fear.  Things are going so well for them when they get a message that a man is asking about her in town.  Could it be her ex who wouldn’t take the break up seriously?  Charlie is terrified that he’s lost her just as they were beginning to be a couple.  Do they stand a chance at love? Who is this man who wants to know where she is? Is it her ex? To find out you’re going to have to get yourself a copy of Lauren Wood’s latest romance and read.  I really enjoyed this story and was hooked on it from page one to the very end. I liked the twist in the story – especially the one at the very end.  I received a free reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review. The Daddy Dilemma: A Secret Baby Romance by Tia Siren

   Second Chances…

Brock and Ashley were engaged to be married, everything seemed to be going well and just as it should. Then she ran away, breaking his heart and not knowing what was wrong.  She also kept one very important fact from him that she doesn’t think he will ever forgive her for not telling him at the time.  But she has to return years later as he’s now trying to buy her family’s farm pout from under them to get back at her.  What happens when they meet again – have their feelings changed? And what happens when Brock receives a text message saying that Ashley had his son whilst she was away???  Brock and Ashley really had been too young to marry one another five years ago and they have both matured so much in that time.  Ashley has made a career for herself as well as being a single mum to Jasper and investing money that she’s prepared to use to help save the family farm.  When Brock does discover about jasper he was so loving, patient and genuinely kind to that loveable little boy who had his daddy’s green eyes. These two people have so much love between them as well as Jasper.  can they work out their problems and find a HEA together?  Brock and Ashley were such fun together and they both really needed to know that she was scared and too young five years ago. Will maturity help them achieve a HEA?  I really enjoyed this story and was given a free copy of the story and I voluntarily leave my honest opinion of the book. However, as I loved it and knew that there were bonus materials in the fuill book, I purchased my own copy and the bonus stories are fantastic too. So go get your copy too and enjoy!

     The Egotist Falls..In Love

His  name is Ian Andrew Michael Church..I AM Church for the uninitiated!!!  You can now now that he is an arrogant , egotistical man and he just happens to be a doctor and womaniser to boot., and he thinks he’s god! one night he hears a commotion in his clinic and goes out to see a stunning, young, feisty woman called Matilda demanding that she be vaccinated so she can go to Africa to give healthcare to those who can’t get it over there.  She instantly recognises that he is “The One” for her at the same time he recognises that she is “His One” too. They spend a night of erotic passion and she then leaves the next day without a word to him!  Is this the end of these two?  After all, they don’t know each other at all? He’s just a womaniser who doesn’t ‘do’ relationships and she’s focussed on helping people in poorer countries.  I confess that I didn’t like him at all in the beginning of the book but he did ‘mature’ in the second half of the book, thank goodness, and so I did like the ending very much but I’m not going to tell you what happened.   Love Makes The World  A better Place

Paige is a feisty young woman who is a private investigator with a degree that she does not use in her line of work.  She is given a job by multi billionaire, Mr Kent, who says there is a thief stealing money form his business and he wants her to find out who it is.  The trail, is easy to follow and she is surprised and confused by this job as most of the work has already been done for her.  She is wary and discovers that the ‘thief’ is Zach. Now Zach and his mum escaped form his father’s clutches when he was a teenager as he was an abusive man. Unfortunately, the impact of the abuse lead to his mum committing suicide when he was 14 years old. He now lives in a cabin in the mountains with only one window and he keeps to himself – he goes to work as a lumberjack and occasionally has a one night stand but has never had a relationship until he meets Paige.  She is feisty, curvy and intelligent and stunning and they are instantly mutually attracted to each other.  he asks her out and, for once, he begins a relationship with her.  More surprises occur and Paige is more and more concerned as to why Mr Kent employed her to find out the thief as she trusts Zach.  This is one terrific story and yes, with instant attraction you may think that is all it’s going to be about with lots of hot, sexy scenes and a HEA. But you’d be wrong!  Don’t get me wrong as there are lots of red, hot sexy scenes with plenty of passion but there is a very real underlining plot that is weaving it’s way through the book too and is well worth the read.  The included extra stories are amazing too so please read those too when you get your copy.  I hope you enjoy this story and all the others as much as I did.  I do like Eva Luxe’s writing style and the genre that she writes for. her attention to details all helps to bring the story to ‘life’ with believable characters and interesting twists and turns and, of course, a wonderful HEA!  I received a free reader’s copy and leave my honest opinion of the book here.

My personal favourite was Jenny, Mark and Noah’s story as they really seemed like a little family. All relatively arrogant men with plenty of pulling power who don’t realise that they are father’s until the right time. Can they ‘man up’ to go from being fathers to actual Dads??  To find out you’re going to have to get a copy of this collection and read through all the steamy scenes with passion and maybe some leading to love.  They are fast paced shirt stories that will heat up wherever you are so have you fans ready to switch on to max cool!  They were a fun read – great for a holiday lying on a beach or waiting at the airport!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a very sweet and short story by McKayla Schutt whom I have never read anything written by her before. I liked her relaxed style of writing and hope that next time that I read any of her work that it is longer with more depth as I think she will have fun writing more details and making a story so much more real.  Jack and Mina are firm friends but one drunken night they make love, her first time, and she ends up pregnant. But he’s an elven prince and she is only half elf and half human. Will he stand by her or will his poisonous mother break them up forever??  To find out if jack ‘mans up’ or stays a mommy’s boy you need to get a copy of this to find out if Mina and her prince get a HEA!  With likeable characters – well apart form the wicked queen and a nice storyline I encourage you to get a copy and enjoy this book.  ! received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Savage Crimes: A Mafia Secret Baby Romance by Lana Cameo

  Repaying His father’s Debt To The Mafia

This story surrounds Matt and Maya. He has saved up and is working hard to go to college and make his dreams come true but his father is not very sensible and owes money to a mob boss.  Matt either joins the gang and does jobs for them or his mum will suffer.  He’s a good son and so works for them. One deal goes wrong and he is beaten up in an alley and left for dead. Maya , who is nursing his ill father and living with an aunt,who is training to be a nurse is driving by when she sees a body in the alley and she goes to help. He won’t see an EMT so she takes him home and helps him heal. There was instant love between these two people who are both in situations through no fault of their own.  As much as he wants her and a relationship with her, Matt knows that it can never be as if the boss finds out he will use Maya as leverage against him. He watches Maya’s home and sees the goons who beat him up watching her. As soon as they leave he goes in to warn her but then their passions for one another take over and he takes her v-card. He leaves to never see her again to keep her safe. She pots him the next week but is sickened and hurt by what she sees him doing, so when she finds out that he left a part of him with her she leaves and disappears.  This is the first book that I’ve read by Lana Cameo but it certainly won’t be the last as it was so well written and I loved Matt and Maya. I’m pleased to say that it wasn’t anywhere near as dark a story as I expected when the word mafia was used.  Will they get their HEA?  How does Maya manage to carry on? What had Matt left for her?  Will they meet again? Mr. Always & Forever: A Secret Baby Second Chance Romance by Ashlee Price

   Bad Boy Grows Up 

Ingrid is a journalist and is doing an article on the sex trade and BDSM. To that end she attends a Valentine’s Party and meets Conner [also a journalist but he doesn’t share that with her yet!] Both are very attracted to one another and they get their own private room and indulge in their lust and passions with each other [this is after he has discovered with her sexual crimes happening there and she takes plenty of photos].  They part but he’s taken her camera!!!  What the heck??  It gets even worse when she sees HER article in her paper with HER photos as evidence. Grr someone’s in trouble with a capital T.  Yes, it was Conner who took her camera and he works for the same paper.  She tells him precisely what she thinks he is and then quits and disappears. Years later they meet again when they both turn up for an interview for a new and up and coming magazine.  It is then that he is introduced to Alexa!  Time to grow up fast and try to make amends. But someone is stalking them and they have to keep themselves safe?  Will there be a HEA?  To find out you will need to get a copy of Mr Always & Forever by Ashlee Price. So well written with believable characters – I liked Ingrid as she does try to do the best that she can and Conner, whilst being a real jerk at the beginning, he emerges as her Mr Perfect.  Alexa brings out a side to Conner that we hadn’t seen before and it’s brilliant to see that aspect of his character.  This superb book will be one that I will be re-reading in the future as it’s so good.  I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
