Nightclub Surprise: A Bad Boy Billionaire Romance (Nightclub Sins Book 3) by Michelle Love

    A Second Chance At Love For August & Tawny

Tawny and August, despite the four year age gap between them had played together as next door neighbours. On the night before he joins up to the Marines, he goes outside in his back garden where Tawny just happens to be moon watching in hers.  She’s now 18 years old to his 22 years. They kiss then passion overcomes them. The next time they see each other is years later in San Diego when he is with his nephew, Gino, and  a woman accidentally touches him when she walks past him that sends a tingling up his arm that reminds him of his reaction to Tawny! But it can’t be her, can it? The woman shouts a boy’s name and a little boy about 6 years old turns and runs to her shouting ‘Momma!’  He looks like a miniature August!  This second chance at romance story is exceptional and is, most definitely, my favourite story by Michelle Love. There are so many profound issues that effect the people in it. August is suffering from PTSD after a traumatic accident occurred in which his friend died.  August doesn’t think that Tawny could cope with his issues however much he wants to be with her and Callum.  Tawny does have a secret that she doesn’t know if she should confide in August and it is eating away at her conscience but when Callum’s life is put in jeopardy she has to make a decision.  Michelle has created such wonderful characters in August who is so troubled and wants to do whatever he can to help people and forgive himself. Tawny is wracked with guilt over a lie and her secret.  August’s sister is a fabulous character and she gives such great advice and support to August. I loved the way he went into automatic ‘hero’ take charge mode when Callum needed help.T he fact that we could ‘hear’ both their POV also made this so much more intimate and added greater depth as we got to understand why they reacted in certain ways.  The sensitive issues she covers in the story are pertinent, realistic and , sadly, effect way too many people in life.  They need to be addressed in such a way that they are addressed and not ‘brushed under the carpet’. I did receive an advanced copy of this story and leave my honest review for it here.

However, as I love all her stories I purchased my own copy so that I would have the extra bonus materials to read too and support a terrific author.

  Bundle Of Love For Valentine’s Day

We have five wonderful stories here by Cassandra Dee, Katie Ford, Sarah, May, Kendall Blake and Penny Close all surrounding Valentine’s Day which makes it extra special for me as I got married on Valentine’s Day to my gorgeous hubby!  Cassandra and Katie are authors that I’ve loved and enjoyed reading their fun and often dirty, sexy stories.  Sarah, Kendall and Penny are all new to me but I will certainly be looking for more stories by them as the ones in this fantastic sexy bundle are really great. The basis of each story is a strong alpha male who is swept up in lust leading to love by feisty female leads who bewitch them completely.  Don’t expect perfection in the heroes and heroines as you won’t find it in any of the stories. What you will find are characters who are perfect for each other.  The heroines are not all stick thin, not all in very important and high pay jobs, not all wealthy, but they are all ready to be loved even if they didn’t realise it before. Settle yourself down with a nice drink and have a fan at the ready when the passions rise and don’t let your Kindle overheat as you don’t want to miss the epilogues that are SO GOOD and finish the stories off very nicely.  These stories are downright sexy with some erotic scenes that may make you blush, but they will certainly encourage you to continue reading as they are so addictive and so much fun that you won’t want to miss out on anything if you’re like me.  I think it’s fairly certain that I will be re-reading these five stories again as they delivered exactly what I expected: fun, passion, the chase, even more lust all leading to romance,  I was entertained and enjoyed all five of the stories and I can’t choose a favourite – although Mr Lincoln could very well be my number 1 hero in the stories 😉

Big Stranger’s Baby: A Bad Boy Secret Baby Romance by B. B. Hamel

  The Management’s Secret Baby!

B.B. Hamel is a very talented author who creates such wonderful storylines with a flowing writing style and the use of language that makes the story and all the characters ‘come to life’ before your very eyes which is a rare skill and that is why her stories are so great.  In this book we meet Amelia who was sent away to boarding school by her parents and never returned home.  her father, CEO of his own coal mining company, dies in a tragic accident and so she is now the CEO.  When she arrives she goes to the local bar for a drink and to try and relax and she gets chatting to the most gorgeous man that she’s ever met.  he’s huge in more ways than one and when he offers to prove it to her, she accepts the challenge with alacrity.  It was only supposed to be a one night stand but the passion between them is so great that you just know that their is going to be so much more between them.  The next day at work she meets Samuel again and discovers that he is the union rep of the miners in her company.  Management and workers stay apart and never the twain shall meet – supposedly!  However, that was before these two people met.  The attraction between them only grows into so much more and they steal kisses whenever they can and the private scenes of love making between them are HOT and sensual that you will need to switch on your fans to MAX.  There are forces at work that are trying to cause trouble as the miners’ contracts are up for renewal and Samuel and Amelia must do their very best to keep the company on track. But there is a twist in the story!  Amelia discovers that she’s pregnant with Samuel’s baby.  Can Samuel keep her and their baby safe with all that is going on? To find out you must get a copy of the book and settle yourself down to enjoying the story and finding out if they get their HEA and the company is safe.

Unprepared Daddy: A Second Chance Romance by Bella Winters

  Does he Deserve A Second Chance?

Serena is a new girl to the city and she really doesn’t like her job behind a bar serving shots wearing a skimpy outfit and being touched up by lewd old men. One night she meets Ben who is a self made billionaire who doesn’t do relationships but is bewitched by Serena and when he finds out that she’s about to be made homeless he offers to let her live with him. The chemistry between them is explosive and they enjoy being with each other very much. But business is not going well for Ben and he comes home really fraught with worry. Serena has news for him too – they are going to be parents! Ben was in a bad enough state before hearing that and he doesn’t take the news well as he is already worried and he stupidly behaves like a real creep and kicks her out of his life and home!! pregnant, penniless and homeless she has no where else to go but her parents who have strict morals and will not associate themselves with her unwed pregnant state and pay her to go away and leave them alone. It is absolutely disgusting the way that poor Serena has been treated by the three people who should love and want to protect her. But she is a strong young women and knows that she and the babies will be okay. Meanwhile, Ben has come out of a shock and feels terrible for what he did to Serena especially as he does love her and is missing her so much as she is a part of him. But whilst trying to get her back she rejects him and he knows that he’s going to really show her how much he does love and need her and the babies. He’s got his work cut out for him. Bella Winters has written a brilliant story here and I got so involved in the story that if I’d met Ben just after he kicked Serena out I would have smacked him!Q Oh boy was I furious on her behalf as I’m sure everyone who read the book was. I didn’t like him then even though I knew that he did love her and was just scared and selfishly just thinking of himself. But to find out how he makes amends and got back into mine and Serena’s good books you’re going to need to need to get a copy of this page turner for yourself and immerse yourself in the story as I did. I truly enjoyed this story and the twists that Bella included to make this storyline so compelling. Ben and Serena are so magical together and we all do really stupid things in our lives that we regret immediately. That was Ben’s! if there was an epilogue of them in 5, 10, 20 years etc in the future I bet he never did anything like that or anything near it again. I loved this story and thoroughly recommend it to anyone. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Double Doms: A Menage Baby Romance by Tia Siren, Candy Stone

  2 Professors + 1 Student = Taboo Trouble

Tia Siren and Candy Stone have given us a real treat of a story here with Kylie a young college student who works hard and lusts after two of her college professors, Ben and Grant. They have also noticed her in their classes and are attracted to her too but see no way that they could be together because of college rules. However, at a Halloween party they get their chance and what a wonderfully written encounter it is. It’s sensual, erotic, passionate and the chemistry between the three of them is off the charts and you’ll probably need to get your fans out to help you cool down. But there is also tenderness and caring and maybe the beginnings of real affection between the three of them. But once was not enough and the two men want so much more with Kylie and want her to be their submissive to their Doms [it’s really just mild BSDM in this story], but how can they as they could lose their jobs and she could be kicked out of college. However, a twist in the story as someone took photos of them and has posted them on facebook and is now blackmailing them. What can they do? can they find a way to be together and save their jobs and her place in college?? The twists in this storyline are fantastic and really keep you on your toes. The connection between the three of them is growing and cannot be denied so they are going to have to find a way around what seems to be an unsurmountable problem! To find out you’re going to have to get a copy of the story and read it to find out if they get their HEA and it will be well worth the time spent reading. Bodyguard’s Secret Baby (A Secret Baby Romance) by Vivian Ward

  Not For Me

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I gave this 3 stars because of the quality of the writing. I have loved every other book that I’ve read by Vivian Ward, but this one is just not for me. I could not like Damon no matter how hard I tried. I thought he was an immature, thoughtless individual who was very promiscuous and didn’t take precautions to stop transmitting sexual diseases or causing unwanted pregnancies.When things didn’t go his way he just left not caring about those who cared for him. When Julie didn’t fall at his feet because he had returned he immediately sought out a ‘skank’ and that is just not the reaction of a stable and well adjusted human. His behaviour when he found out that she had had his child all alone since he had absconded was deplorable. There were wrongs with Julie too but I just could not find one thing to say about him.
