One Night Stand by Sarah J. Brooks

  Definitely recommended! Pure Passion 

Single and hunky dad, Logan, adores his 9 year old daughter, Erin and basically lives for her.  Since his crazed ex-wife, Samantha gave birth and dumped them both he’s been  the best dad he could possibly be.  But he’s lonely. He hasn’t dated in all those years although Ant , sibling, looks after Erin when necessary. Now Ant’s BFF is Nina and she’s moving into the same apartment building as Logan but Ant hasn’t told either of them.  Ant doesn’t think they will suit each other as Logan’s wary of women and Nina has always said that she didn’t like children and has just got out of a bad breakup.  But as she’s moving in, Nina notices gorgeous Logan and he notices her and likes what he sees so he approaches and offers to help her move in.  He is on the floor above and the chemistry between them is combustible!  With all this sizzling between them they ‘go with the flow’ and have a magical passionate encounter that ‘blows their minds’!  But he has to leave to pick up Erin. Nina, meanwhile, thinks he’s just leaving as he must be a player and using her for s@x. But as Nina comes to know Erin she realises that she actually does like children [well certainly this child] and that Logan isn’t the player Ant said he used to be. Ant, on the other hand, is not best pleased that they’ve met and then there is more drama when the vile ex-wife makes her presence felt!  What’s going to happen to Erin? Will Logan and Nina have a HEA?  Will Ant speak to Logan and Nina again? What’s going to happen to Samantha?  Written with great characters by Sarah J. Brooks who never fails to bring them to life before your very eyes as you read her stories.  Believable and empathetic so that I felt compelled to carry on reading till I’d finished the story in one go. This is a must have read and, I personally think, Sarah’s best book yet.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Possessive K-9 Cop (A Man Who Knows What He Wants #74) by Flora Ferrari

  He Can Arrest Me Anytime…

Kane is an older man and a great cop with the most fantastic police canine ever called Malia.  He rescued her when he was on holiday in Alaska – paid for her training the lot and she is as devoted to him as he is to her!  She is also possessive of him and doesn’t like any woman he brings round till he meets Quinn again.  Now he’s on a stakeout for a drug mule when he realises with Malia’s help , just in time, NOT to tazer the ‘suspect because it’s Quinn – his best friend’s little sister who isn’t so little any more. In fact, she’s grown up into the  most delectable and stunning young woman that he wants to wrap up and have for himself alone.  She’s wearing the same clothes as the suspect so she points them in the right direction and they catch the drug mule. But his captain is mad at him for not following orders and he is suspended! Unbelievable!  However, it does mean that he has time to pursue Quinn and make sure that she’s on board with being HIS forever. Her brother might have something to say about it but she’s more important.  Instant love and oh such a glorious read that only Flora Ferrari can give. She composes the most compelling stories of instant love around and makes her characters so likeable, loveable, realistic and fun in witty storylines that draw you in and keep me coming back for more.   A Suspenseful Romance

Rafa’s fiancée and mother to his son, Bepi, needs a heart transplant.  Dr Castor is sent to collect a heart that is compatible but on her way back to the hospital her vehicle is struck by a drunk driver, she is injured and it’s too late for his fiancée and she dies. Noemi Castor and Rafael Genova both have to work through their grief and Noe’s guilt as her caring heart grieves too for losing a patient.  Two years later they meet up and both are very attracted to each other but are they prepared to risk their fragile hearts by taking a chance on love?  Things are going well but then it appears that someone is targeting them. But who?  Why?  This story perfectly illustrates why Michelle Love is one of the USA’s top best selling authors. This is more than just a romance – it is suspenseful, a who done it, a second chance at love, and a vengeful person who is determined to hurt others.  So wonderfully written that I was virtually sitting on the edge of my seat “desperately” needing to know the who, what, why and did they survive? Protecting Abigail by R.R. Banks

  A Superb Must Have Read!

R.R. Bank’s writing just exceeds my expectations every time. I love reading his stories and he is a terrific author which is why he is a best selling US author. His storylines in the last year have developed into something so much more than ‘just a story’. I can practically ‘see’ the action happening as I read as his descriptions are so vivid and his characters so believable and lifelike. In this book we meet Abigail who has found the courage to leave her abusive ex and with her brother, Evan’s, support she is starting afresh. In this new life she meets Xavier and his daughter Anna who is such a sweet little girl, whose mother died tragically. It was wonderful to see Abigail gaining confidence and beginning to enjoy her life and forming new friendships and how Xavier lowers his guard and opens his heart which he has closed off to everyone but Anna since her mum died. As his feelings for Abigail grow and are reciprocated, how will they react when mysterious things start happening to her? Will she be able to continue as a teacher? Will their growing feelings be able to grow under these worrying conditions? Such a well thought out and beautifully written story that had me on the edge of my seat. R.R. banks certainly pulled out surprises for me in this latest book and I lost sleep so that I could find out ‘what happened next’! Well worth it. This is a fabulous example of why his writing is so popular and , if you haven’t read any of his books before, [where have you been ??] than this is the perfect book to get you addicted to his stories. Mountain Man’s Nanny (Mountain Man, #2) by Kelsey King

   Her Best Friend’s Brother…

This is a must have read by Kelsey King that won’t disappoint! Written so well and such a wonderful story that is realistic with terrific characters that it was so easy to be compelled to read it in one go. Parker is a single dad to Evie and Jackson after his wife died in a mugging. Now five years later he is really struggling to be both parents but his sister has an exceptional idea – get her best friend to act as nanny for him! Kacee is just perfect for the children and there is certainly attraction between her and Parker that will send the mercury in a temperature gauge rising high! If only Jackson hadn’t interrupted them a kiss would have happened so much sooner than it did. I loved these characters and hope that you will too. Another great story from Kelsey and I’m now waiting for her next romantic adventure. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED

Bought By The Sheikh Single Dad – A Sweet Sheikh Romance (Small Town Sheikhs Book 4) by Holly Rayner, Ana Sparks

  Second Chances

Umar isn’t just a Sheik – he is a sheik whose little girl loves to listen to Shannon who used to be in the charts with several songs. But fame has passed by so when she gets a call asking for her to play for his daughter’s birthday party she is delighted to accept.  She doesn’t let on that she is no longer very busy and tries to keep up the myth of her fame and Umar falls for her just as his daughter [who is a real sweetheart] and Shannon falls for him too. What happens when he finds out the truth? Will he give her a second chance? He thinks that shes made a fool of him!  So well written by Holly Rayner and Ana Sparks that you may be like me and not want to put the book down [I took my kindle with me virtually everywhere]. Such great characters and it was actually humourous in places the lengths that Shannon went to maintain her image to him.  A great ending that rounded the story off very nicely.  I look forward to more books by these two terrific authors. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.  Recommended – get a copy to read now!

  Treat Yourself To This!

This is one STEAMING HOT collection of alpha billionaire daddies that will make you reach for your fan/ac, lock your door and switch off your phone as you will NOT want to be disturbed whilst reading these red hot stories by R. R. Banks. Now if you haven’t read any of his books before [where have you been???] then prepare yourself for five well written stories about alpha daddies and their feisty females.  These illustrate perfectly why he is one of the top 100 best selling authors in the USA.  He pitches such great storylines that are just that little bit different, great characters [and I loved that some re-appeared in other of the books set in Whisky Hollow. Romeo for Hire by Ali Parker and Lexy Timms

  Romeo But With A HEA!

This latest story by  that wonderful author partnership of Ali Parker and Lexy Timms.  In it we meet Ryan who is a single dad who is devoted to his little girl and will do just about anything for her.  As luck has not always been on his side he is currently working as a male escort basically although he is particular about his clients and doesn’t sleep with all and sundry.  Then he meets Candace who is a feisty female who is way too busy with work to have an actual relationship despite her interfering mother.  Her mother hires Ryan to push Candace into having more of a life than just work.  This is a story about Family, drama, priorities in life and all the many forms of love. Ryan was no where near what I expected – he was so much more and it was so easy to love him.  Candace needed someone like him desperately – she just didn’t know it at the time. I loved the way that Ali and Lexy wove this romance throughout the storyline. My imagination was captured at page one and maintained till the very end.  I loved this book more than I expected and can’t wait for their next romantic adventure!  Grab your copy of this asap!  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Now this is a prime example of why Mia Ford, best selling USA author, is one of my favourite writers. When Wrong Feels So Right tells the story of Nathan, Riley and his little girl for whom she is the live in nanny.  There is plenty of chemistry between the two o them and it is all brought together in one well written story.  Six other stories by Mia are also included for your enjoyment and they are :- [Book 1: When Wrong Feels So Good]
