Desire by Mia Ford

  After Ten Years Of Marriage…

Flora’s family have no expectations of her.  Colin, however, was born on the other side of the tracks and his family know that he will go far. At a frat party that her friend takes her to she is attacked by one of the frat boys but Colin has been watching and crushing on her for some time and he steps in and saves her.  They fall in love and marry – much to both their families dismay!  After ten years of marriage, Flora is still striving to be the very best at work but she and Colin aren’t communicating. their marriage is tale. Can they work things out?  He wants a baby but she seems to be only focussed on work?  Mia Ford is one of those authors that I know her book will be well written and researched and this book certainly is all that.  I like that it concentrates on real life issues and that it’s not all about the instant love, but what happens ten years down the line which is certainly a new slant on my romance reading.  The issue of communication is always the most important in any relationship and I think Mia has really illustrated that in this wonderful romance.  I look forward to Mia’s next story!  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.
