  Secrets & Growing Feelings For Her Stepbrother

Lucy has been kicked out of college and she’s keeping it a secret from her and her stepfather and stepbrothers – in fact, she has to go to court because of the incident! So life is not looking good for her at all. Of her two stepbrothers Josh is the good, dependable one and she needs to try and project a good impression to her mum after what has happened so she hangs around with him. Daniel, on the other hand, is the bad boy and dare devil of the two and has an awful ex girlfriend who keeps cropping up – unfortunately. The twins have a party of their dad’s yacht and Daniel invites Lucy but she plays safe and goes with Josh to keep out of trouble – even though she is very attracted to Daniel. He dares her to jump off the yacht like the others and she does and swims to shore and this is when Daniel follows her and they share an unforgettable kiss. I did enjoy this short story and because it was a short tale some points didn’t seem to make sense [the sudden unrequited love] and some timings were just ‘off’. However, I didn’t let that detract from the fact that it was an entertaining read – just ‘go with the flow’ – it’s fiction. I must confess that I was concerned about what had happened at college for her to be kicked out [as certainly here in the UK it is rather extreme to be kicked out of university and then to end up in court is virtually unheard of – I can only think of a murder case but the US must be different in their college rulings]. Anyway, I liked the characters [well obviously not Daniel’s ex] but they were realistic, mostly, and it was a fun read. I also look forward to reading more of Nicky Harmony’s stories.    Stepbrother To The Rescue

This is a fun, quick read by Jenny Rose who is a new author to me and one that I will be looking out for more of her writing.  This one was action packed with two main characters, Tori and her stepbrother Easton, who have a sizzling chemistry between them that they’ve never acted upon before now. But she is in danger and so she turns to him to help keep her safe.  he takes her to his gorgeous mountain home and there they learn more about each other and proximity helps them act upon their natural impulses.  But what will this mean to their family? Surely they will disapprove and they can’t break up the family?  No matter what they both want, do they stand a chance of a HEA in the long run?  To find out you’re going to have to get your own copy and, like me, I hope you will enjoy the book.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED

  Welcome To The Family!

Oh boy have Amy Brent and Candy Gray conjured up for us this very sexy read about two strangers who meet at an auction where ten girls, including Emery, are auctioning off their virginities, and Sebastian makes the winning bid of  $70, 000!  They spend a night that is beautiful, lust filled, hot and sizzling with passion but she leaves the next day without exchanging details.  He had noticed her the night before when he was out with his friend and been attracted to her then.  He wants more than just one night from her but how on earth is he going to find her?  Imagine his surprise when he goes to visit his Dad and new step mum and Emery answers the door! I don’t know who was the more shocked but I do know that this can’t be the end of them as this is a book written by Amy and Candy and they are famous for their passionate stories with red hot lovers, a few twists, seemingly magical chemistry between Emery and Sebastian and for delivering superb HEAs.  So well written that I was totally engaged form page one to the very last.  This is one story that I will be buying on pay day as I will be re-reading it as it’s so good. I really encourage you to get this love filled story and enjoy like I did.  I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Ruthless by Kira Blakely

   His Step-Sister’s Protector

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.  Eli owns a bar in town that he has worked so hard to make a success. he had a dreadful childhood once his Mum married JP who was abusive and kicked him out the house when he was 15 years old. Eli also suspects that JP murdered his Mum.   There seems to be  a crime wave happening in the town and he suspects JP.  But when he discovers that he has a step-sister and that JP’s daughter runs a bookshop very close to his business he makes it his business to meet her and when they meet the heat and lust between them cannot be denied.  But does Eli and Nina have a chance of a relationship between them bearing in mind that she doesn’t know anything about JP’s criminal dealings? There is an instant attraction between the two of them and it only takes so long before the chemistry between them spontaneously combusts in one fantastic night of lust, passion and mind blowing sex like they’ve never known before and it’s not just a one night stand. This is a fantastic story by Kira Blakely that is very different from most of the books that I have been reading lately and so it’s rather refreshing.  In this storyline, there is drama, fear, attempted murder, thugs, a beautiful and feisty young woman who falls passionately in love with our handsome hero . Kira has created these two terrific characters for us to enjoy as we get to know them. As the story progressed, I immediately liked Eli as he has had so many hurdles to overcome to be where he is now and that shows determination, courage and a profound sense of self worth.  He is exactly what she needs and vice versa. They both need a loving partner who will love them passionately, always support them and when their lives are in danger they are there for each other. How is JP  going to react when he finds out that Nina is in a relationship with his enemy? What will he do to Eli for making enquiries about him and his business?  Will Eli be able to protect Nina? Do they have a chance at a HEA or will death part them forever?  To find out you need to get a copy of this book and the prequel too so that you can enjoy the suspense and hot and steamy romance between Nina and Eli.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Keagan has loved Dana all his life – ever since he saw her in elementary school. But before he could even ask her out on a date they were foiled by their parents marrying each other and so she was now his stepsister  and, therefore, taboo!   They went there separate ways and he became a multi billionaire social media mogul as a result of an app bigger than Facebook whilst Dana became a designer.  However, sue to the lull in the economy she has been made redundant and she goes to Keagan for help. He had deliberately stayed away from her because of their family status but now that she’s back in his life, he cannot resist her any longer. Natalie Knight and Vivien Vale have written this fantastic story for us. For those of you who have read other books penned by them you know that you’re in for a treat.  For the rest of you newbies, hang on to your seat as you’re going to ‘witness’ lust and passion that develops into everlasting LOVE.  Keagan is gorgeous and, even without the wealth, he can get any woman that he wants but Dana is the only one he has ever truly wanted and when she comes to him for help he realises she has to be his and he wants her to have his baby!  What happens when the media reveals their taboo secret  to the world and whatever will their parents say?  This is a great story that was fast paced as it was so beautifully written and I really was rooting for Keagan and Dana to have their HEA.   The epilogue really made this book extra special for me.  I encourage you to grab a copy of this book and indulge in this hot and steamy romance!

Ashlee Price is an author whose stories I have been reading for over two years now and enjoyed every one of them whilst Sophia Senna is a new author to me but, after having read her stories in this bundle, I will be most assuredly be looking for more of her books to read and enjoy. Pure escapism with hunky heroes and damsels that don’t always need to be rescued as they tend to be confident young women who also know what they want and will accept nothing less. Be prepared for plenty of passion, hot and steamy scenes and pantie melting moments that you will need to switch on your fans and relax as you indulge in reading these rom-coms and racy love stories. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

However, I enjoyed these so much that I bought a copy for myself and the bonus novellas are certainly well worth reading too!
