  We All Need  A Beau

When you’ve got a problem in your house – send for Beau. He’s a stud muffin and gorgeous and he can fix anything in your home [from fixing a pipe to making anything you need from repairing a settee to putting up shelves.  He was shell shocked when his best friend’s ‘little girl’ came to him for advice about going into architecture school as he was a billionaire in the construction industry.  But when she gets into college and has a problem with her rented flat her dad calls him for help and Beau is more than ready to be her hero.  Ariella, meanwhile, has lusted and loved Beau for years but never thought he would even look at her in a romantic way. He wants him to be her first and last and when they spend time together it’s obvious that they are both ‘feeling the instalove’!  And what a romantic – taking her to swim in an amazing swimming pool and then to probably the most glorious hotel suite in the world where he lavishes her with everything she could possibly want – including him.  This older man /younger woman romance is full of passionate emotions and some angst when her dad finds out what they’ve been up to.  I must confess that even I was a bit surprised when she opened the door to see him in his tux and the surprise he had for her.  This latest story by Flora Ferrari is everything that I’ve come to expect from one of her fast paced, instalove romances.  Great characters and I was interested in the architectural quotes.  A lovely easy read and I just wish we all knew a ‘handy man’ like Beau. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended

Rush: A Reverse Harem Romance by Lane Hart

  A Great Steamy Romance

When Graham, college football star, gets a warning that if his grades don’t improve he will be out, he is shocked. So he gets in touch with Skyler, Sky, who was his nerdy friend from high school who used to tutor him for help. Now Sky has had a major crush on him for years and is more than willing to go and stay with him and his two room mates, Ty and Charlie, over the summer. Ty and Charlie are gorgeous, sweet caring, handsome, beyond friendly and make her feel so wanted that her quiet reserve drops round them. But they know what Graham is like with women and make him keep clear of her – they genuinely care for her and don’t want her heart crushed by him. Lane Hart has really given us a brilliant example here of her at her best. There is plenty of heat and surprises in this storyline that will keep you riveted to the book from first to last page. My favourites in the story were Charlie and Ty and, after you’ve read it for yourself, I think you will understand why! This is a fun, steamy read that I really enjoyed and hope that you will too. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Stepbrother Trouble: A Taboo Stepbrother Romance (Sexy as hell Book 2) by Nicky Harmony

  Secrets & Growing Feelings For Her Stepbrother

Lucy has been kicked out of college and she’s keeping it a secret from her and her stepfather and stepbrothers – in fact, she has to go to court because of the incident! So life is not looking good for her at all. Of her two stepbrothers Josh is the good, dependable one and she needs to try and project a good impression to her mum after what has happened so she hangs around with him. Daniel, on the other hand, is the bad boy and dare devil of the two and has an awful ex girlfriend who keeps cropping up – unfortunately. The twins have a party of their dad’s yacht and Daniel invites Lucy but she plays safe and goes with Josh to keep out of trouble – even though she is very attracted to Daniel. He dares her to jump off the yacht like the others and she does and swims to shore and this is when Daniel follows her and they share an unforgettable kiss. I did enjoy this short story and because it was a short tale some points didn’t seem to make sense [the sudden unrequited love] and some timings were just ‘off’. However, I didn’t let that detract from the fact that it was an entertaining read – just ‘go with the flow’ – it’s fiction. I must confess that I was concerned about what had happened at college for her to be kicked out [as certainly here in the UK it is rather extreme to be kicked out of university and then to end up in court is virtually unheard of – I can only think of a murder case but the US must be different in their college rulings]. Anyway, I liked the characters [well obviously not Daniel’s ex] but they were realistic, mostly, and it was a fun read. I also look forward to reading more of Nicky Harmony’s stories. Headmaster Navy SEAL: An OMYM Domestic Discipline BBW Romance by Mia Luxe

  Oh Boy! This Is SO Much FUN! A Must Have Read.

Tanner runs a school for troubled rich kids and he is the headmaster there. He is an ex Navy SEAL and runs it with precision and discipline and is very successful. When his best friend sends his truculent daughter, Emma Jones, to be ‘sorted out’ Tanner knows that he is in trouble with a capital T when he sees her curvy, sensuous body that he craves to touch all over. She has certainly grown up, in all the best ways possible, since he last saw her and he also knows that she is going to be his. Forget that there is a significant age gap between them. Forget that she is his best friend’s daughter. She is HIS! STEAM heat blazes from the pages of this book and you will need to invest in a great fan/ac as you’ll need it with the sizzling chemistry between these two . Mia Luxe has really composed for us, her grateful readers, a rip roaring roller coaster of a storyline with a no nonsense hero and a feisty heroine who generate temperatures with their passion that the Sun would be impressed with. I do encourage you to get a copy and enjoy the journey of their HEA as this is a real page turner and one that you won’t want to put down. The two main protagonists are so well suited for each other and it certainly makes me want to read more of Mia’s books.

A Better Man by Jenny Plumb

  A great read !

Jenny Plumb is a new author to me, but if this is an example of her her writing then I will be looking for more of her books. It was the usual western story that I’ve read previously but had so much more depth to it. Emma maybe lonely but she had a dreadful life before her husband died as he was so abusive. But when George arrives on the scene, wounded and needing help, she knows that she can’t turn him away even though it will undoubtedly bring danger to her life and moral outrage from the town’s community if he stays at her house whilst wounded.

She stumbles upon Lucas and he realises that he has found his mate in her.  But he has a secret from her- he is a wolf shifter.  Will this older man be prepared to take a chance on finding his mate, his wolf certainly wants to, but Lucas can be stubborn and will Claire want to give herself to this man??  This is a fast paced, easy to read paranormal story by Amber Ella Monroe.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Her Woodsmen: A Reverse Harem Romance by Victoria Belle

  New Author…

Lyra is struggling to cope with her parents divorce and she drops out of school.  She spends her time partying until her mum finds out. She then takes Lyra away to a secluded cabin in the woods.  It is there that whilst wandering in the forest that she meets Rain, Paul, and X  who live in a community away from society.  They were not what she expected at all.  They seemed rather interested in her too and she was certainly not going to discourage their interest as they are HOT!  This is a reverse harem story by Victoria Belle who is a new author to me.  This is an easy to read story that is fast paced.  A great beach read.  I did enjoy the story and will look for more of her books to enjoy.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Doctor December by Flora Ferrari

  Definitely recommended! Pure Passion 

Found left on the steps outside a hospital once December by another doctor, the baby is taken in and given the name Declan Dercember.  The man who found him also became a dad that night at that hospital and his son became Declan’s best friend when they turned five and m,et at school.  Best friend’s for life!  Declan poured his efforts into becoming the best doctor he could be and he loved his work with children.  one day he gets a phone call from his best friend saying could he help with his teenage daughter? Of course, Declan agreed and it is then that he met Bella as a woman rather than as his friend’s little girl.  Instant love flares between Bella and Declan and they try their best to keep it form her dad. But one over protective father is bound to see signs – now isn’t he!  Will Bella and Declan take the risk to act on their passions which could break her dad’s heart and break his friendship with Declan?  To find out if they get their HEA, you’re going to have to read this for yourself. But bearing in mind that the author is Flora Ferrari, you should realise that it is very well written, plenty of passion and she loves to deliver HEAs. But the ending in this book is wonderful and I love how far she ‘goes into the future’!!  Absolutely great. A fast paced read that is fun and entertaining.    A Sexy Royal Romp!

The Gigi Thorne authors continue to keep me entertained in their fast paced, steamy and erotic reads. In this one Princess Charlotte meets Wes, who is no member of Royalty as far as anyone knows. he is but a humble carpenter and skilled worker who is transforming her bathroom. But when he sees her, he just KNOWS that she IS HIS! Getting her to come round to his way of thinking is easy as he is gorgeous and charismatic and as s@xy as can be. Princess Charlotte is no fool and she recognises in Wes everything that she wants in a man and he is ALL MAN. When her sister’s life is put in jeopardy and the throne, Wes could come to the rescue as he has knowledge that could save them. A unique storyline in so many ways and great fun to read which seems to be the format of the Gigi Thorne stories. Brilliant to read in one go and come back wanting more.   The Alpha Needs Her Help

Regina is a fox shifter and loves the 1950’s styles except being for being a ‘perfect 1950’s wife’!  She doesn’t want a fox shifter as a mate and husband –  definitely not for her. So when the matchmaker suggests she have a date with an alpha male bear shifter she is very surprised to say the least!  But Oscar is gorgeous and there is just something about him…  When he asks her for help she can’t stop herself from saying YES.  Emilia Hartley knows exactly how to draw me into her stories [and since she is a top US best selling author, it’s obviously not just me who loves her stories].  Her storylines are unique and the way she she builds her characters right in front of you so that you feel as if you almost know them.  Oscar and Regina are just so good together with plenty of passion and fun!  As Oscar was my favourite type of paranormal creature, a bear shifter, I was naturally looking forward to reading the book but it was so much more than just him and a thoroughly good story!  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
