Hot Louisiana Knight (Knight Ops #3) by Em Petrova

  Fantastic Read

Hot Louisiana Knight is the third book in this fantastic series by the best selling author, Em Petrova, that will keep absorbed from first to last page.  This time our hero is the nerdiest of the Knights, Dylan, and a suspect whom he discovers hiding in a closet, Anthea.  There is no way that he believes that she could be involved in a terrorist cell so he’s going to make it his mission to prove her innocence, protect her and get to know her a heck of a lot more! This is one treat to read, with fascinating characters and a terrific storyline that draws you in. It can be read as a standalone but, personally, I prefer to read it in sequence as part of the series. Having said that, I think this is my favourite of the books so fare but look forward to reading more from Em Petrova.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.  Definitely recommended – get your copy now!

Don’t Close Your Eyes: A Bad Boy Rancher Love Story (The Dawson Brothers Book 4) by Ali Parker

  No Family Feuds Will Stop These Two Lovers

This is book 4 of a standalone series about the Dawson brothers by the best selling author, Ali Parker.  I have now read and loved each and every one of them.  They are so well written with fabulous characters, family angst, a s@xy rancher and a dog trainer that makes his heart pound and he can’t think of anything but her.  Luke’s, our hero, older brothers David, Ted and Mason are all away from the ranch as well as his parents who are on holiday so now Luke is in charge.  He’s suddenly realising just how much work there really does entail in running it. But he is completely distracted from this by Brea, the dog trainer, that his dad has employed – apart from anything else – Ducky needs some training to be useful on the farm!  Luke and Brea really are a wonderful couple and I loved getting to know them through the story.  |Whilst Luke and Brea are getting along as well as can be their father’s will not be so happy as there are ‘issues’ between them that will make these two young people who are in love be together.  Ali Parker has really pulled out all the stops to keep this great series continuing.  When I read one I think that is my favourite until I read the next one!  Yes, they can be read alone but it is so much more fulfilling to read in the correct sequence as the same characters keep reappearing and we get to know how they are continuing with their HEA’s which is one aspect that makes this really a great collection for me. Air Force Hero: A Military Secret Baby Novel by Weston Parker

  A Second Chance With Her Childhood Crush

Josephine, Jo, has had a major crush on her brother Ryan’s best friend, Zach, since she was a little girl.  Obviously nothing could happen between them as Ryan would kill them both!  Zach joins the Air Force and Jo joins the Coast Guard.  But when his dad dies he returns home briefly for his mum and he meets up with Jo.  This time with emotions high they can’t ignore the sizzling chemistry between them and they have one unbelievably wonderful night of passion and love. But she’s gone before he wakes the next morning.   Nothing Zach can do but wish they could explore this feeling between them so all he can do is remember.  Meanwhile Jo is feeling the same.  Several tears pass before they are both back home and she is not alone!  She has a male with her and Zach NEEDS to know all about him as he looks remarkably like himself in miniature form!  Weston Parker’s writing just gets better with each book [and I’ve loved his books for quite some time now].  His writing style is flowing and succinct. Whilst he knows how to pull at your heart strings with all the angst and drama surrounding these two.  I think Ryan’s opinion doesn’t need to count this time.  Now it’s just Zach, Jo and a certain adorable little boy who count.  It was all so easy to immerse myself into this world of theirs and want them to get their HEA.  Such a wonderful journey that I will be re-reading this in the future as it is too good a story just to be read the once.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.  Most Definitely Recommended!

Her Rodeo Masters (Pleasure Island #9) by Anya Summers

  Ivy & Her Cowboys

This is the ninth and final episode of Pleasure Island Series b y Anya Summers.  This involves Ivy who goes under cover to the island pretending to be a submissive all the whilst investigating the Island and what is really going on there.  It is there that she attracts the attention of two rodeo riders, and lovers, Dax and Nate.  When she arrives she finds herself auctioned off and these two hunky cowboys ‘win’ her. But can they persuade her to be with both of them and not just for a week??  There is plenty of heat so check that your fans/ac are in fully working order and set to MAX COOL.  I loved the way Anya weaves the story around these three fascinating characters who she describes so well as to make them so 3-dimensional and believable.  I confess that I haven’t read all of the previous books but I intend to now having read this one.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.  Grab your own copy now – definitely recommended!

  WHEW – Too Darned HOT!

Bearly Friends by Selina Coffey

  A First Class Paranormal Read

I have read many of Selina Coffey’s stories over the last few years but these are my absolute favourites.  Reasons why they are?  Well they are about the paranormal and, in particular, bear shifters that I love to read about. These  stories are so well written with fabulous characters that you will remember long after reading the stories – for example, Hale and Tessa in Book 1  TESSA – A circle of friends is a thing to cherish.  In  Book 2 – CORA she meets the delectable Rhys and Knox [oh my!] and Book 2 – KAIA she meets Zed [all alpha male and ready to love and protect her].  With great storylines and plenty of heat and steam that will have you reaching for your fans/ac to set to max cool.  I had read each of these individually before but just had to re-read them as they are so good. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.  Definitely recommended – a wonderful collection!

This is a fun, quick read by Jenny Rose who is a new author to me and one that I will be looking out for more of her writing.  This one was action packed with two main characters, Tori and her stepbrother Easton, who have a sizzling chemistry between them that they’ve never acted upon before now. But she is in danger and so she turns to him to help keep her safe.  he takes her to his gorgeous mountain home and there they learn more about each other and proximity helps them act upon their natural impulses.  But what will this mean to their family?
